Convenient to the train station and the steps to the city

The reception manager of the evening was very unimpressive. He was on the phone with his headphones in the entire time talking to someone in his own language and laughing at there conversation. The occasional grunt for what he wanted from me. Also no attention to other customers who were trying to ask him questions and give him information. No assistance offered to get luggage up stairs. Disappointing after an 8 hour trip on a train to have such unpleasant person .

Location. Very close to the airport.

There was no info how to connect to wifi in your room. When you arrive late, there is no one you can ask about it. Not good that the property owner did not think about this important question. Next day I asked the indian guy who worked there about it. He showed me the password behind the wifi device that was 1km long. I tried to connect 3 time and it did not work. What's worth of providing wifi but not giving the access so people can use it?

Hotel Florida by all means is a 2 star Hotel. I give it by my rating a 4/5 🌟🌟🌟⭐ Located in the heart of Venice it is an iconic place to stay embracing the warmth and beauty of the Venetian culture. It may not be the shinniest penny but provides to it's best capacity warm,clean secure amenities. Its preservation of culture and access to heartbeat of Venice is a great pointer to the culture and hospitality of Venice. The amazing tolling of the bells at wake and close times. The cleaning staff are courteous and ready to keep your abode prim and proper. Why look for indoor amenities like a big television or wonderful beds when you can spend the time absorbing the wonders of Venice. Caveat: You need a travel charger for charging your stuff and prepare to check in and have breakfast at a lovely hotel a Stone throw away on behalf of Hotel Florida. Come with an adventurous Spirit, live like venetians and don't forget the trains are only a walk away to explore the rest of Italy! Ciao Venice. Gratias Hotel Florida!.

It’s really good room for this price plus we had breakfasts. Everything was comfortable and clean. There were nothing to complain about. The stuff is friendly if you have questions, they are alsways happy to help. Couple of people writing here that check in is confusing because it’s in another hotel, but this information about check in and location is literally written on the doors of hotel, plus reception for check in is just 30 m away, so we didn’t have any problems with check in or breakfast.

It’s kinda old, but I guess it’s okay for Venice. Authentic 😁

My wife and I are from Jordan, I red the reviews on several hotel booking apps. I was shocked how good the hotel and staff when we visited Venice on the 25 of March 2024. The room was small however it had everything we needed. also very clean it was a corner room number 25. yes it was smaller than other rooms but it had everything. wooden floors small toilet with shower and hair dryer ...etc. also the location with great fish restaurant next to it and others. location is the best for Venice since you do not have to walk in the dark narrow streets of Venice and it is next to the train station also the bus station....etc oh and the supermarket coop is near. now the staff. so friendly and caring as we had breakfast to take with us at 6: 50am !!! yes before they opened the gave us breakfast to take with us :) now to check in you walk 30 meters further to other hotel and they give you the key so what! it was less than 30 meters and we understand why because they own both hotels. Wow Wow and I hope they keep the price of the stay the same so we can go back to Hotel Florida Venice :)

Location was amazing. Perfect if coming via train.

Had to go to other hotel up lane way to check in. Also you have to use pin that is on back of key tag to access hotel which wasn't explained.

Close to the train station and very easy to find. Good value for money. Breakfast was served at a hotel about 20meters further down the road, check in was also there. Breakfast was good, freshly made coffee, warm croissants, hams, cheese, eggs, cereals and juice. The room was clean and bedlinen and towels were fresh.

The breakfast was excellent. The location is right around the corner from the train station. We really appreciated the free luggage storage so we could explore the city more after we checked out. We got a free upgrade to a room w/ attached bathroom.

The slope of the bathroom floor is improper; water gets everywhere. The air in the room got a bit musty smelling. Opening the windows was a must.

Location 5 mins walk from train station and vaporetto stops. Room simply furnished but clean , some newly refurbished parts ( flooring, a/c ) , essential toiletries and new towels. Check in / out, luggage storage and breakfast at sister hotel 2 mins walk on same side street. Staff all friendly and professional. Breakfast efficiently organised, good variety of sweet and savoury .

Great location. Good breakafst. I see many Czech people complaining about this and that, but in every direction 100m there is a luxury hotel with marble floors and dock for private taxi-boat. That is what they want, that is what they need but they keep reserving in cheap options and than complain?
