Couldn't be handier for Terminal 2, about 3 minutes walk, some of which is under cover. Strolling across to the terminal after a leisurely breakfast is much less stressful than travelling to the airport on the day of your flight. Obviously, it adds cost, but we had the half board package, which extends your holiday and gets it off to the best possible start. We travelled in on the train, which is approximately 15 minutes walk, mostly along the covered skywalk.

Signage from the train station could be better, but basically follow signs for T2, get the lift down to ground level and cross over the road via pelican crossing.

All good at the hotel - the room, staff and breakfast were top notch. It was straightforwards to walk directly to the departures area. You can park free for up to 1 hr in their car park on arrival which was great for us to unpack and unwind before i moved the car to the long stay and got the (free) shuttle bus back to the airport. It was then a short (but hard to navigate) walk back to the hotel (see below).

Not the hotel's fault but the signposting to it from the airport was not good. Ended up walking on a busy roadway when there was a footpath through the car park.

Holiday Inn was not yet open but I was transferred to the Ibis who were very helpful. The hotel was very clean the staff excellent and the food they were able to offer good. The hotel was in an ideal location for terminal 2 just a few minutes walk.

I systematically use this hotel for my overnight stay before an early morning flight in Manchester Airport. The staff are really good and the Turkish style restaurant also provides British alternatives for people that do not want to use their palate. All the stuff from reception from bar and everyone in between are very helpful and nice and very much willing to accommodate everyone's particular requests and needs. Concerning the rooms they are very comfortable and the climate control gives you the ability to have your ideal temperature for sleeping. Bathroom is big and the shower is very much enjoyable. Highly recommend.

This time during my stay the minibar fridge was not working this bite me trying to use different plugs so I think the fridge was malfunctioning. There also was a stain on the curtain which I have attached a picture. This is not the standard that I am used to.

We stayed here due to a cancelled flight, so we booked very last minute and didn't arrive until gone 9pm. The staff were so efficient in checking us in, which was appreciated since we were with our very young children; the room was already well prepared for our needs, and when we requested additional items this was met quickly and by friendly staff. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and with very modern furnishings and accessories (I particularly liked the great shower controls!). Breakfast was superb too, and catered to our needs of vegetarian items and an egg allergy.

There was nothing I didn't like about this.

From the beginning reception staff great very helpful with booking in and restaurant details etc. The room the best we have ever stayed in corner settee excellent bed bathroom excellent. We ate at the restaurant and the selection was wide to suit all tastes. I had the fish which was excellent. We also ate at the breakfast buffet with a great selection to suit everyone from full english to a selection of cold meats etc and serials. So all in all a great place to stay the day before you fly it is situated right outside terminal two terminal three is a 15 minute walk.

As above, the room was large enough, and very clean which was really nice. Everything was good quality and well maintained. The proximity to T2 at Manchester was exceptional and made it very easy with an early start. The food was good and well priced for what it was. The thing that really made it stand out for me, was that breakfast starts at 5am. I have stayed at another Holiday Inn, where if you check-out early, they say you can get a "packed breakfast", which consisted of a soggy croissant and a coffee to go (decaffeinated was not on offer), which isn't value for money when you have paid a B&B rate.

Less cost for parking overnight. I understand space is at a premium but £25 is a lot when you are already paying to stay at the hotel. Electric car charging options.

Very ideal location, modern rooms, very quiet and peaceful, expected to hear planes landing and setting off with the hotel being at the airport but wasn’t the case.

The bed were overly firm, I understand that bed firmness is a personal preference however I do feel that the bed was very solid, wasn’t the best night sleep but this was due to the bed alone. Underneath the bed there was an empty pepsi bottle, a used tissue and a pen along with dust and other dirt. I don’t go looking underneath hotel beds but my child’s dummy dropped under there so had to go under to get it.

Everything was perfect. I asked for a quiet room with double bed and it was provided. Comfortable bed, tea making facilities in room, bottled water, good number of channels on TV, excellent shower, fluffy towels, message left if I forgot toiletries to let reception know and they would provide. Location at T2 enabled me to access departures easily. Breakfast was EXCELLENT! I asked the Chef to cook me two well done fried eggs. He took great care to cook them to perfection and they were the best I have ever eaten. Staff friendly and accommodating to my every need.

Lift was complicated to use and reception staff need to explain upon arrival. A number of people boarding lift used their keys to operate but instead lift stopped altogether. I used stairs during my stay despite on 4th floor. Would be more difficult for a less able bodied person to do that.

Quiet, calm and comfortable room. Quick and efficient check in. Good Turkish restaurant and good breakfast. Close to Terminal 2

We arrived at the airport by train and booked this hotel due to proximity to Terminal 2. Walked to hotel from the railway station via Terminal 2. Hotel is signed from the station but we saw no signs once we got to the terminal, maybe because works in progress there. Had to rely on a helpful workman to find our way.
