Great location, lovely breakfast and staff very friendly

When checking in, I brought to the attention of the staff about a scam emails and messages from the booking.com website which one of the 3 members of staff at the time told me just to ignore it ! Not helpful when your customer is being scammed. Another guest was checking in alongside me and he had the same scam emails and message. I was the unfortunate one that has had money taken from my account. For a hotel of this level I did expect a better level of customer care.

Great location across the road from Raffles hotel and shopping centre and Chjmes for good and drink. Staff were lovely and can’t thank them enough for returning my passport that I left in the hotel safe after I had checked out and remember after about 3 hours. Being able to use facilities to have a shower and get changed after checking out and waiting to leave for airport. Lots of bottled water provided in room.

No bar in the lobby and no staff at the pool. Proper milk and not powdered would be good and more tea bags.

Centrally located. Walking distance to many shopping facilities. We had fantastic views, all the way to Marina Bay Sands. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet. Terrific bar (great for Happy Hour) and cafe downstairs (great coffee) . All the staff were friendly and always greeted us.

Nothing really…. We would book again on our next trip to Singapore.

The room was great, loved the Bay Window, sitting there and viewing the side we were on. Being able to have a nice relaxing bath and looking out the window from there was exceptional. Location is fantastic! We walked to the National Museum which had so much to browse and interact with. The Raffles City Mall and Chymes just across the road. Many more shopping centres, within close walking distance, and the MRT if you wanted to catch the train. Would stay in this location again. Staff were friendly, prompt and made the stay enjoyable.

The Premium Club Lounge could do with a revamp, sparkling wine would also have been a welcomed addition which is what I have been able to drink at other hotel Lounges where we have stayed and paid the privilege for. The food was ok, daily variety a little lacking.

Great location, close to everything. Very clean room with a nice view towards the Raffles Hotels. The room itself is clean and comfy.

My adapter didn't work in my room so I gave it to the reception to charge my devices. On pick-up a senior staff was lecturing me how I should get a number tag from the receiption to identify my belongings. I think that is something he should train his staff about, not lecturing his customers. The light switches was not working on our first night of stay, we could not turn it off, so we had to unplug the main power card to cut power to turn off the light. But on our second night back to the room the switches were secretly fixed which was great. A major problem of this room/hotel was it didn't come with a extractor fan in the bathroom which is unheard-of. Every time we took the shower, the whole room was fogging up.

We recently stayed at the Carlton as a family of 4, and it was nothing short of fantastic! We booked two connecting rooms; spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable—ideal for a family of 4. The service throughout our stay was consistently exceptional. From the front desk to housekeeping, every staff member greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hospitality was warm, genuine, and truly appreciated. The hotel breakfast had an amazing spread with plenty of delicious options to suit all tastes. To top it, they graciously granted a late checkout on our last day. With a 9pm flight, the 3pm late checkout gave us that extra comfort and time to relax without stress. It really made a difference. The location is another huge plus—centrally located with easy access to attractions, shopping, and public transport. We were able to explore so much of the city with ease. We absolutely *loved* our stay at the Carlton Hotel and will definitely be back. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore—whether you're travelling as a family, couple, or solo. Exceptional service, excellent rooms, great location—this hotel has it all!

The swimming pool is a tad small for the size of the property, but not a deal breaker.

Quiet (soundproof vs street noise). Location ok, just plan where and what are your interest points. For Singapore ok value for money - just not forgot about 20% tax + cleaning? will be added per day. Can't judge breakfast but for asked money in Singapore (overpriced country) you should be able to find something normal/better. Air conditioner quite ok - enough silent and powerfull and not much blow on bed - rare place where automatic setting worked as needed.

Staff is not happy at check-in ;) But for Singapore that is normal. Low lighting level in the room. Tea choice - just simplest black tea.

The king size bed was extremely comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel is located in the heart of the city opposite Raffles hotel and across the street from the Raffles Centre which hosts well known shops and restaurants on numerous floors. Metro and buses are conveniently close. The food was exceptional. Nothing was too much of an effort for the staff. On our final day, we checked out at 10am and told the receptionist that we had a plane at 2am the following morning - she told us that we could leave our luggage and collect it at any time, and also told us that we were welcome to use the shower room that evening before leaving for the airport - they of course would arrange a taxi from the hotel!

Great position & staff extremely helpful. Rooms good size though one of our group had trouble with no hot water!

The pool area closed at 7pm which was disappointing. There were many days we would have liked a swim after dinner. Please consider a later closing time at around 9pm or 10pm.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! Very friendly staff, perfect location. I got a free room upgrade with a better view. That was so nice of the staff to do that.
