Quirky hotel in a great location. Loved the recommendations emailed to us by the hotel of things to do, places to eat and drink etc. Breakfast was lovely and downstairs bar a great place for a drink.

didn't like the electric blinds on the outside of the windows. Although you can allegedly control them from a control panel in the room this didn't seem to always be the case. One night we got back to our room at 11pm and shortly afterwards strangely we heard all the blinds go up outside despite the fact that we hadn't touched the control panel. This meant that in the bathroom with the light on it wasn't very private. I couldn't get the blinds to go back down again.

Friendly staff. Beautiful decoration, I had The Studio and this room had a lot of character, was very quite as well. The bathroom was comfortable, very spacey with a nice shower and good towels. The toiletries were also good.

The beds had a plastic cover on the mattress which was a little weird and kind of warm. The sheet were not 100% cotton, it was in general too warm. Would have liked to have better ventilation/ac and cotton sheet with a flat sheet under the duvet. It can be hot in Berlin during the summer, so I don't know how it is when the temperatures rise.

Breakfast was lovely, albeit somewhat expensive, and the proximity to public transit was perfect. Whenever we had to use a taxi they knew exactly where to drop us off. Plenty of places to go within walking distance, and the staff was very attentive and helpful! We arrived at 9 am absolutely exhausted from the jet lag, I was ill from the flight, and the woman checking us in was able to get us into our room very early without us even having to ask.

The only thing we would have changed was that our room faced the main road. It being the summer and quite hot that week we obviously had windows open since there was not air conditioning in the room. This made it difficult to sleep sometimes with the noise from the road. I completely understand there’s nothing the hotel can do about the noise or heat and I just appreciated getting into our room so early so I didn’t ever mention it. It was a minor inconvenience. But if you have the chance to pick, try to get a room NOT facing the main road. There is quite a difference in sound.

The location is fantastic. Plenty close to shopping, restaurants, museums, night life. The staff is the best! Arun & Max at the hotel bar/restaurant are fantastic, friendly, and gave great recommendations for other restaurants and entertainment. Fernanda at the hotel is super as well. The entire staff was great.

We found nothing that needed improvement. This is not a huge chain hotel with massive rooms... which we don't prefer. It's a boutique hotel in an old that is very nicely remodeled and decorated. Very cool space.

The main advantage of the hotel is its location . Central , close to taxi stand, U stations , main attractions . The breakfast was excellent , with nice cosy decor , good food and coffee. Excellent service with kind attention.

I had a room facing the main road , and as is normal for a city like Berlin , the traffic can be busy at times and the vehicle sirens can be a little loud now and then . Anyway , with windows closed I slept well without problem.

The decor was wonderfully quirky. Well located. The staff were amazing, cheerful and so helpful!

Unfortunately it was very hot when we were there and their cooling g system was not working well enough to cope with the heat and because it was on a main Intersection we could not open the windows at night. This did not diminish our stay.

We had an amazing stay at this exceptional hotel. Hotel is centrally located with tram lines directly outside - easy to get to from train station when we arrived. Room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious with an incredibly large shower. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times - from check-in, to bar and breakfast staff and housekeeping. Breakfast downstairs was excellent (I would definitely recommend the cooked options). The restaurant space became a very cool bar at night and I enjoyed a nightly Negroni during our stay. I highly recommend The Circus Hotel.

Breakfast was great and we loved having a la carte options. The bar was terrific, the staff were professional and friendly and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The room was a bit small for two of us (I would upgrade to the slightly larger one next time), but it was spotless and well set up. It is a very convenient area of Berlin.

The room was a bit small for 2 people with one side up against the wall. There was no AC, but it was fine while we were there.

Modern, spacious, and a luxurious feel: that how I'd described the Circus hotel. Would love to come back soon, because the breakfast as well as the cocktails were really good. Location-wise you're near all the public transport options you need.

The bathroom could have been a bit bigger and the cleaning services a bit quicker, yet whenever the staff was asked something they were very helpful and every question was solved easily.

Really lovely all round. We had a one bedroom apt- kitchen was well equipped, bathroom had nice toiletries, roof deck and bar were cool. Staff were really friendly. Loads of great restaurants and bars within walking distance from the hotel.

One small issue, we had booked the maisonette to give our teenager a private space. It wasn’t available when we arrived and were put into a one bedroom where she slept on a small portable bed in the middle of the living area. This wasn’t ideal for her.
