Really nice modern city hotel. Adjustable aircon temp. All floors lift access. We had a lovely spacious, clean and comfortable room with sea views. Large shower, plenty hot water. Tastefully decorated modern design. Described as a triple, with a large very comfy bed, choice of pillows & a good sized easy sofa chair. Outside private balcony with table & chairs. We liked the privacy of the wooden screen as against ones with open glass screen. Very friendly & welcoming staff especially Katerina on reception who gave us lots of info on places to visit & see all within walking distance, to the breakfast team & room cleaning ladies, everyone wants to help make your stay enjoyable. Booked for a weeks stay for our 40th WA we were greeted in our room with a lovely welcome gift of fruit & wine! The rooms are cleaned daily, towels changed and bed made up. Very welcome & appreciated was free coffee/tea plus bottled water, soft drinks & wine in the mini bar fridge all topped up daily for free. Nice toileteries also topped up daily. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice and indoor or outside dining. Hotel is ideally placed, minutes from the sea front walking right along to Chania's picturesque Venetian Port with spoilt for choice restaurants along the way perfect place to watch stunning sunsets. Charming old town narrow backstreets buzzing with more restaurants & shops, leading to centre of City. There's something here for everyone.

For us, in our room, nothing we were happy.. Although, a higher floor for better views, we were on floor 2 Would not have liked a smaller double room overlooking inner plunge pool area, as no privacy.

We stayed in this hotel with my wife and our one-year-old for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They would always greet us with a smile and ask if everything was ok. They even offered us vouchers for free drinks at the hotel's bar during check-in. The bedroom was very spacious, modern and clean. The cleaners even folded our clothes. We had asked for a baby cot, and even with that, we had plenty of space in the room. The mini bar in the room was free, and there were water bottles, soft drinks, a small wine, and coffee and tea. We didn't get a chance to dive into the pool, but we did relax for a while at the pool's sunbeds, which were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and every day, they even had a new addition. It was a 10-minute walk from the old city center so we didn't even have to move our car. There is private parking in the basement of the hotel, but the spots are limited, and you have to book in advance. We were not aware, but there were plenty of free parking spots on the streets around the hotel.

There is nothing we didn't like. Only maybe that the view was just the main street and buildings outside of the hotel. Just a small suggestion. The light in the toilet could last a little longer before automatically turning off, as we had to wave to the lights every minute to turn them back on.

This hotel is very well located to a small beach and a short walk along the water's edge to the old town. It is very modern and the staff were incredibly polite and very helpful to meet all expectations. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean with a big comfy bed. Not too much they can do to improve. Would recommend.

Only one thing really and I would check this if I were to stay again. We booked a sea view room facing the ocean. I think there are 9 rooms in total all with balconies facing the ocean. 6 of these rooms have glass balconies and 3 of the rooms have solid wooden balconies. We unfortunately got a solid wooden balcony which prohibits your sea view especially when you are sitting down. It didn't spoil our stay however a glass balcony would have been 100% better.

Hyperion City Hotel was a pleasant acquaintance. It is located in a somewhat busy area, but that's to be expected for a city hotel on a busy main road. The hotel building was interesting. A bit maze-like but not difficult to navigate. The elevators worked well. Our room was good, as were the beds. The balcony facing the sea was somewhat unnecessary at that height. On the top floors, you will surely enjoy the view from the balcony more. The windows were in good condition, keeping the traffic noise out. The nearby beach boulevard, which leads to the old town and the old harbor, is surely a lively and pleasant place to eat and have coffee in the summer. Now, it was just waking up to the tourist season. A positive aspect was the garage. Small but functional. The reception staff guided us well to the garage and were helpful in general. The breakfast was good. Thank you for the very nice breakfast box we received when we had to leave early for our flight.

As I mentioned, the breakfast was very good, but on that one morning when we had time to enjoy it, the coffee was not good. Perhaps there was a problem with the machine that morning.

The location of the hotel is excellent, even though it is in a very busy street, so choose a room with a sea view in order to have peace and sleep with the sound of the waves. The room is extremely clean, the bed is comfortable, the shower cabin is large. Breakfast is a buffet, classic but very good. First street on the right down to the promenade by the sea with tavernas and a small beach. All in all, we are very satisfied with our stay in the hotel and in Chania, as well as in the whole of Crete. We will come again for sure.

The small drawbacks: the automatic turning off of the light in the toilet takes a long time and is annoying through the glass of the shower cubicle next to the bed, my suggestion is to shorten the light turning off time. There is also a large mirror missing, for us women to look at ourselves before going out on the town :)

The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was exactly like the pictures and also very clean! Nice view! Decent location, we did not mind the walk to the old town or city. Everything was working the way it should. The ac was very good and easy to use and the shower was nice. Excellent price and excellent hotel!

The breakfast was good but nothing too special. Because we visited so early, mid may, the pool was a bit cold because it was not heated. I’m sure the pool feels pleasant in the summer. The sun reaches the pool area by (13.00) so do not be scared that it would be in the shadow the whole day!

I just had an exceptional stay at Hotel Hyperion, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by an outstanding staff. A special thank you to **Stefanos**, who truly made our stay magical. His attention to detail and willingness to help made all the difference. Katerina and the night auditor were also fantastic, always smiling and eager to enhance our experience. The room was beautiful and well-equipped, offering stunning sea views that added to the overall ambiance. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious and diverse breakfast, with different choices every day that left us excited for our meals. The hotel itself is a true gem, blending comfort and elegance effortlessly. Every moment spent here was a pure pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Hyperion to anyone seeking a memorable getaway. I can't wait to return and enjoy this wonderful experience again!

An exceptional hotel, beautiful, spacious room, very clean and everything impeccable. They upgraded us to a room with a balcony and sea view so we also had a beautiful view. Quality breakfast, with various options and very tasty. Very good location, in 5 minutes walk you can reach the port, the center anywhere. We could park the car on the street without any problems and it is free. Very friendly staff always. We had a car breakdown and the gentleman at the reception did everything he could to help us. I recommend the hotel and we will definitely stay again.

First of all I booked this property just because we adored our previous stay at the hotel in 2023. The hotel is situated close to the sea and the room had an incredible view over the nearby coastline. Also the rooms are very clean and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful most of the times.

Even though I enjoyed the previous stay, this time we’ve been quite disappointed…. The bottled water in the fridge was not refilled daily. That is quite weird as we though that his the basics. After communicating this issue at the reception we have got the answers that we have to pay for the drinking water it drink that tap water otherwise… quite weird policy for a quite expensive 4 star hotel. As far as I remember they refilled the bottled water every day back in 2023. Also the breakfast.. despite of the variety the quality was expected to be better. The coffee was terrible.

Couldn’t fault this hotel - the location is great, a two minute walk from an unorganised beach perfect for a quick swim, and another few minutes walk takes you straight into the harbour. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by to choose from. Staff were absolutely brilliant, very polite and friendly, namely Katerina, Stefanos, Petros and Yanis who were always available to help in any way. Hotel extremely clean (cleaning lady was lovely - I’m sorry I don’t know her name) and breakfast was brilliant. 10/10 would stay again!
