After 14 days of Icelandic adventures, 3,000 km by car, nights in a tent, and a very close relationship with Icelandic campsites, this apartment was like a wellness vacation for the soul and especially for my back. Huge, cozy, with a top-notch kitchen, a stunning view, and a bed that sent me into a deep sleep, a full 10 hours straight! (A record after two weeks in sleeping bag mode 😅) The washing machine and dryer were the icing on the cake. I flew home with clean laundry, a little luxury that my friends on the plane certainly appreciated. Check-in? Easy as pie with a code. Location? Perfect, Restaurants and Supermarkets right around the corner, yet still quiet. In conclusion: This apartment was the crowning conclusion to my island trip. I loved it. Thank you, dear team, you turned a tired adventurer into a clean, well-rested person!

The only downside? That I couldn't just take the apartment with me. I would have preferred to pack it in my hand luggage. 😅

Apartment is well equipped, you have everything you need, including kettle, microwave, additional pillows and blankets. TV have access to Netflix and YouTube, which was perfect for our evenings. It’s a big far from the city center but if u have a car that shouldn’t be a problem.

- when we came to the apartment, floor was a bit dirty in a way it wasn’t properly vacuumed, in the corridor was dust from the clothes I guess and on the kitchen floor was small pieces from the previous people (but I need to mention that owners were very nice and asked to solve this issue straight away) - in shower, there is no separation on the floor, so water always leaked to the direction of the toilet, was a bit annoying

The property was in a good location if you have a car- 15 minutes from any popular spots and plenty of parking spaces. The staff was very responsive via email and phone.

The room was not clean when we arrived. This was especially frustrating because we had requested an early check-in and were told that would not be possible because the room needed to be cleaned. When we arrived hours after the scheduled check in time, the pull out bed did not have proper sheets and was dirty. There was hair covering the walls and floors that was not ours, as well as dead insects on the walls. However, the staff responded right away to our email and call and arranged for the room to be cleaned the next morning

The apartment was great and the view is amazing. We had an issue when we arrived of having the wrong apartment than we booked but customer service helped fast over the phone in 15 mins we got into the right apartment. The apartment is very spacious and modern and had everything we needed. It has a small kitchen so we can cook something small inside. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was clean. There was washing machines in the corridor of each level with available detergent and ironing board as well. The customer service were very helpful and responsive. The building has a free parking spots and with the car was around 15-20 mins to the center. There is Bonus market right across from the street, which came very handy. Highly recommend the place!

The sleeping pillows could have been better, as they were a bit thin

Everything about this apartment was perfect. The bed, sofa, TV, cooking utensils, it really had Everything. The best thing of all was the view, there's nothing more peaceful than waking up, opening the blinds and admiring the view of the lake with the blooming city behind.. And of course with a cup of coffee in hand. If you stay here, I highly recommend you try one of the burgers from Skalli (restuarant/take a away opposite apartment) it's in my top 10 burgers I've ever had. The bakery a bit further down (next to bonus supermarket) also sells some gorgeous cakes and desserts. The amount of detail in the appartment block is also amazing, they have a telescope on the 4th floor, perfect for watching the northern lights or even just getting a closer look at the night time views of the city.

Nothing. I honestly couldn't find a single problem with the appartment.

Spacious family studio, parking directly in front of the house. House as well as apartment conventiently accessible with one code. Apartment well equipped and very clean. Very good storage opportunities, well equipped kitchen with cooler, fridge, microwave, coffee machine etc.. Fast WiFi included. Good connection to major roads. Great contact with the Heimaleiga Office, good informations provided.

Washing bassin in bathroom could have been a bit bigger - but that is just a very minor issue ;-)

The Apartment was extremely clean and it had an excellent view. They had a simple Check-in process and your get a mail detailing the Process ,so it was nice & easy . It had a all the basis amenities. We were there for 2 Nights & we truly enjoyed our stay . The weather was extremely cold and we couldn't spend time to go around the Property . If you are travelling with your Family for a vacation then this is a perfect place to stay . Uber is not there in Iceland , the Taxi's are pretty expensive to go -around the downtown area.

It is conveniently located near grocery stores, parks, a local church we visited, close to the highway, and not a long ride to Reykjavik. It was quite comfortable and accommodated all of us (4 adults). Washing facilities were great! We enjoyed the fact that we had a stove top and oven. The management was always helpful and prompt to reply to any questions we had. They were more than willing to help resolve any issues we shared with them.

Garbage sorting wasn't so clear in the manual, but there were signs in the building that helped. Besides our neighbors above allowing their child for three nights to run back and forth at 3 AM and knocking things down, there isn't really anything we could say we reallt disliked.

Location which is not far from a natural reservation site. Room 204 has a nice view of the lake and mountains in front. Many amenities within walking distance if you need to buy anything.

It’s not that I didn’t like, but it’s worth mentioning for the next guests. I don’t recommend to keep windows open in the late evenings because of the road traffic noise. Also, if you want to use the gym downstairs is free for 2 days only, but you must complete a form where you fill in your date of birth follow by 9999.

The apartment is located a few kilometers away from Reykjavik, it is an ideal base to explore the western part of Iceland. Our room (nr. 305) was spacious, clean, well-equipped and we had a fabulous view over the lake and the mountains. The bed was very comfortable. There is a supermarket, a pharmacy, a bakery and a restaurant within walking distance from the apartment (we could see them from our window). There is a washing machine and a dryer on each floor which we appreciated a lot. We haven't met our host in person but she provided us with plenty of information. Check in was easy, simply by using the code we got. We highly recommend this place to stay to other travellers!
