There was no breakfast included. A bakery is available right across from the hotel. The room was very clean and tidy. I bit on the small side. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all the requests that we had. Free parking was available in front of the hotel. There is a bus that goes straight downtown just 200 meters from the hotel. Also, a big grocery store right next door.

The only drawback we saw was that there was no scale available to check the weight of our suitcases before going to the airport. The receptionist said that they had one, but it got picked up by a customer just a few days ago and was never returned back,

The owners were AMAZING!! They made sure we were comfortable, helped us plan bus routes to see and return from the city, ensured a timely and decently priced taxi ride to the airport, and even personally walked us over to a nearby bistro to ensure good service. (And the Skalli Bistro was equally excellent.) Although it's located away from the city proper, the buses are easy and fast to use, and staying at the Heidmark actually meant a quiet place to return to.

I knew there wouldn't be on-site breakfast, which I usually prefer. However, a nearby bakery has good options. Very small insignificant imperfect details such as no soap for the shower (probably just an oversight) and room temperature we couldn't adjust.

Great place to start or end your trip at Iceland. The pizza/burger joint around the corner is delicious! And in the morning you can cross the street and start your day at the local bakery. The rooms are a little basic and small, but everything was comfortable. You don’t need much else! Parking was also easy We were so lucky that we even witnessed the Northern Lights from the parking lot, we ended up driving 15min outside of the city to a secluded place for even better views. Would book again!

Close to major sights, easy check in, big bathroom, nice bed linen and towels, great shower, room very clean and comfortable, super quiet, walking distance to several good restaurants, hosts very responsive. Appreciate the hosts having negotiated discounts with various businesses.

This hotel is situated in a great location, close to various attractions, a store, and a bakery right next door. The room is small but cosy, and clean bed linens and towels are provided. There is ample parking available outside. Additionally, the hotel is just a 40-minute drive from Keflavík International Airport, making it an ideal choice for our last night before heading home.

The people managing the hotel were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel also has an affiliation with a bakery nearby and offered a discount on all the food there. The bakery was amazing.

The bathroom shower stalls were very tiny and often one might struggle to enter due to the tiny doors. The rooms also were relatively smaller than I expected.

The room was comfortable, the double bed we had was huge and very comforable. There is a bus station right in front, which was handy. There is a bakery and a supermarket within 3 mins on foot. The service was good, the people were nice. We had a room with a private bathroom, which was more difficult to find in Reykjavik than I thought it would be, so that's a plus.

We found an old plastic bottle under the bed, we didn't bring it. It stayed under the bed the whole time we were there. That tells me that the room was not thoroughly cleaned before or during our stay. The hotel is pretty far from Reykjavik city center/ bus terminals, so if you are not travelling by car, it takes a long time to get to places and back.

This place was spotlessly clean. I also loved that they made it easy to check yourself in; that was helpful for us because our flight was canceled and we ended up arriving super late on another flight. We arrived 3 am! But we checked in without issues.

The staff, a couple of senior, are not so good with English and fairly weird as in intimidating maybe? Nonetheless they were nice and let us get some boiling water for our Ramen packs in the evening. Rooms are ok.

Location obviously you know about it since you're booking it, very far from the city but close to the main road for your next day.

The room is the right size without excesses, large bathroom with large shower. The bed is comfortable and warm. The lady at the reception was very kind. We only stayed one night and were looking for a cheap hotel that had convenient parking for the car and wasn't too far from the center, here we found everything we needed.

The sink is tiny and to wash your face or teeth you get a little wet on the floor.
