Beautiful place with a stunning view of Reykjavik. A hot tub with thermal water feels amazing especially when the weather is cold. Huge comfy beds and lovely kitchen/ dining room/living room. Loved the sauna. The host was very kind and showed us around when we checked in. He was also available for any questions we had about the property. The place is huge and has lots of shelves and wardrobes to store your clothes and luggage. It's a short drive to the city centre and the grocery stores (around 10-15 minutes)

Everything was perfect

The property was perfectly located on the edge of Reykjavík in a quiet area, not far from shops and restaurants. It was very easy to find and there was good parking. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, he was there to greet us, show us around and show us how everything worked. The house was immaculately clean, very spacious and beautifully presented. It was well equipped and had lovely extras like toiletries in the bathrooms, coffee pods and a little welcome gift. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing in after a long day of sightseeing. The view from the window in the living room was extraordinary. Such a beautiful house.

The property was as advertised: well stocked, exceptionally comfortable beds, high-end finishes throughout, amazing geothermal hot tub, and spacious luxury sauna.

The stay was so great that I won't take off any points for this, but the curtain closures for the showers for both bathrooms billowed into the small shower spaces awkwardly, and the nearly level shower floors allowed some shower water to run into the bathrooms at large instead of the drains at the back. (We managed the water by laying towels in front of each shower.) A reworking may be required to address the issues fully, but replacing the curtains with heavier ones would be an inexpensive partial solution.

Even better than the pictures! Lovely luxury home with amazing amenities (sauna and hot tub are only the beginning). Sigurdur really makes you feel welcomed and pays attention to all the details to make the stay special. He goes way above and beyond any rental we've ever stayed at. Amazing way to end a fantastic week traveling the Ring Road.

Absolutely no complaints. My only regret is that we didn't have time to stay longer!!

Amazing property! Beautiful views of the mountains, perfectly equipped with the necessary kitchen ware. The grill was very nice to have. We of course loved the hot tub and sauna. Very comfortable beds! The fine details of the interior (including the sauna) were outstanding. A very well managed and thoughtfully managed property (and we are AirBnB hosts!). We highly recommend

Very easy to find, host was very responsive and was there waiting for us upon arrival. He gave us a tour and showed how the hot tub and sauna worked. Super clean overall, great furnishings, and, very comfy beds made for a wonderful stay! 7 minutes to downtown Reykjavík by car. Grocery store less than 5 mins by car (and walkable). Definitely would stay again!

We liked everything

The house was lovely and just a few minutes from downtown with lovely views from the large windows. The owner was wonderful and thought about every detail (fully stocked coffees, tea, cocoa and spices for cooking as well as chilled water in the sauna)to make the stay relaxed and comfortable . The sauna and hot tub was the perfect way to end a day of sightseeing. Highly recommend .

Everything! The hot tub was fabulous, there was a big well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The host was easy to communicate with and very friendly.

The property was spotless and very well equipped. Nice touch with things like tea and coffee making products and other general stuff. Sauna and hot tub were amazing, hot tub was from an underground spring! Just wish we had more time to relax and enjoy them
