Location was great, near the main street (Laugavegur) where you will find all shorts of restaurants, shops, etc. Having a garage was also a very positive thing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable despite being a bit small.

Just a warning … the hotel hosts Big tour groups, so the breakfast room can get a bit hectic at times.

The staff were helpful, especially one of the men on reception. I was given vouchers for a free drink for my birthday. The barman was helpful and ensured I had a good measure for my birthday drink! We asked if we could order a takeaway to be delivered, and he was extremely helpful recommending how to achieve this, and supplying us with disposable cutlery. The room was clean, with tea and coffee making facilities. The room does not get cleaned unless you ask them to clean it. There was shampoo and conditioner, along with bars of soap, but no shower gel. The breakfast was fairly good, including sweet melon, fruit, cereals, and a typical continental selection. The location was good, and an easy walk into the town and a local supermarket.

There were two members of staff who came across as miserable. One female on reception and one who cleaned the tables at breakfast. The underground car park was very hard to exit due to a tight corner. The breakfast could have been enhanced by a selection of cheeses, instead of just one, and the orange and apple juice were both squash, not fresh. Clients were expected to put their dirty dishes and left overs on a trolley, but there weren’t notices on all the tables.

Good location, just near the end of the "main drag" in Reykjavik. Very easy to walk to restaurants, bars, shops, etc. The heated garage was nice for our winter trip, though lining up the car properly to get out of the garage is a little tight. Breakfast was a simple yet adequate "cold buffet," including hardboiled eggs, meat, cheese, fruit, vegetables, skyr, oatmeal, bread, and cereal. They also have machines for espresso, coffee, tea, etc.

The standard two beds/two comforters pushed together is not the most comfortable, though it is similar to most other European hotels. The room was compact with no-frills decor yet met our needs. The shower has ample space yet the shower head placement was a bit awkward (the shower was a long-width rectangle with the showerhead centered facing the opening--one half of the long side--instead of being centered on either the long side or the short side of the shower).

The staff were friendly and got us booked in quickly. They also helped us with parking our car in their private garage. The room and bathroom were of a good size and everything was clean. The location was good and pretty central. Once we parked the car we didn't need it to go exploring for shopping and dinner. Breakfast was nice and had lots of options.

Probably not an issue during the coldest months of the year but overnight the room got very warm and the beds didn't breathe. The window didn't open very far so it was hard to get ventilation in the room and we couldn't control the temperature as there was no thermostat.

Chose this hotel based on reviews, location, and price inclusive of breakfast which was better than what other hotels were offering. We found the location good being about 10 minutes walk to the centre of the main street. We asked for a quiet room and got it on the fifth floor. The windows on the corridor outside the room gave a great view across the city. Breakfast was more than sufficient, all cold save for porridge - salami, ham, cheese, bread, eggs, peppers, fruit etc. Whilst busy at breakfast we never saw anyone having to wait for a table or any queues at the service stations. There was a nice bar area downstairs with happy hour pricing from late afternoon to 8pm - 900kr for beer and wine - which was welcomed. Staff were all pleasant, room was clean and common areas also clean and tidy with some Christmas decorations up which was a nice touch. There is a cafe 2 minutes from the hotel (which we did not use) and a baker / cafe about 5 minutes away (Brik) which we liked very much - serving pastries savoury and sweet and great coffee. Sundhollin thermal pool is close by which is recommended after a day walking. We would stay here again.

Although check in was 3pm we still had to wait about 15 minutes because the room was not ready. A complimentary coffee / drink whilst we waited would have been appreciated! Safe in room would not work - but staff helpfully offered to look after our valuables in the hotel safe until it was fixed but we did not take this offer up. No cappucchino / latte coffee from the machine at breakfast (sad face)! These issues did not spoil our stay at all though.

Location. Not far away from the Main Street and there is a food court nearby which you can get food after a long day tour ! Many restaurants closes around 9pm.

You get shampoo and conditioner but you don’t get body wash ! A female staff is rude , you greets her in the morning or passing by , she responds with a stare or pretends not to hear you. One male staff rolls his eyes if you ask few questions about checking out. The best staffs there was the guy that checked us in and checked us out. He even offered us some free coffee as we waited for our coach back to the airport. This friendly receptionist originally was from Moldova.

Convinient location, few steps from busy streets. Many attractions you may reach by foot. Bus stops very close if you want to use public transport. Unlike to some other downtown hotels, you may order pick up from hotel in msjority of tours. Breakfast is a big plus, having in mind prices in Reykyavik. Rooms are comfortable, we had room at the corner, very big bathroom and spacios room for two. We were able to check in earlier, if room is ready, they allow it.

Maybe some variety in breakfast, as it is same ecery morning. Anyway it was enough choice, but id you spend more days...

Staff were very kind; location was excellent for sightseeing both the capital and the surrounding areas. The hotel is located within 10min walk of the city center and its main sights, but it is also close to some of the main roads making it easy to leave Rejkjiavik for excursions. The availability of a garage was great while also there was free parking available within a 200m. The breakfast was great value for money and there are several supermarkets within 10min walk for extra items if needed. The bar is a lovely place for gathering and chatting and there is a game room with a billiards table, which was a fun way to relax in the evening. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable too.

Some of the fixtures in the bathroom needed fixing but mostly minor stuff.

I loved everything! The hotel staff were nice and proactive. We always had a thousand questions and they were always kind and patient to answer and help us. 😅 breakfast was amazing! With variety and quality! I have absolutely no complaints! The location was also a plus size. Near to the city center and we could easily walk to the bus station. If I go back to Reykjavik, I'm definitely staying there again!

There were absolutely no problems or whatsoever.
