Hi quality hotel and staff were great.

Breakfast was a real disappointment. Quality was OK but the selection was very poor. It is a la carte not buffet but they didn't have anything I liked. No eggs Benedict. They had eggs Florentine (spinach) and eggs royale (smoked salmon) but not with ham or bacon. For the "Eggs your way" sides, they didn't have sausages, tomato, beans or has browns. No muesli or cereal, apart from a chai pudding. No fresh fruit, apart from a small number of berries on some dishes. Only one omelette with mushrooms - way too many mushrooms. Very odd menu. Had to go outside for breakfast.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. They always said hello as we entered or exited the hotel. The room was very clean, plenty of room and a great shower. Housekeeping were great and the shampoo, conditioner, hand cream, and hand wash were very high quality. The location is absolutely perfect. It was close to the pier, shops, markets and the view from our room was spectacular. We will definitely stay here again. Huge thanks for a wonderful stay.

We absolutely loved our stay but we found there was no light providing visibility to the cupboard behind the door. The cupboard and shelves are black which adds to the darkness.

The design of the reception - lobby - lounge - restaurant area is just wow. Absolutely stunning, one of the most beautiful lobby I have ever seen! My room was huge and very well equipped. The staff is kind and helpful, check in was really quick. I highly recommend this place.

Just one suggestion (and the reason for score 9 instead of 10) to have maybe a fruit basket at the restaurant for people who do an early tour and leave before breakfast time. The hotel offers a la carte breakfast, but this also means you can't grab anything quick and lot of the day tours starts early before breakfast time and therefore hotel guest can easily miss out on it. Having at least a fruit basket with apple, banana, etc would be really nice, so customers can grab something before heading out for the day.

We arrived late evening due to delayed flights and were welcomed so warmly by the lady on reception and a warm fire in reception. We were staying for 5 nights and were upgraded to a queen suite with views and wow did that make our stay extra special, seeing those views the next morning was breathtaking and the suite was large and comfortable. The bed was lovely and comfy, the walk in shower was great and the whole hotel was spotless clean. We enjoyed some amazing food in the hotel restaurant both for breakfast and dinner, would certainly recommend eating there. Our stay was outstanding.

Only issue is having to pay for the parking as we had a hire car, but we were made aware beforehand.

Steps on the pool are a bit dangerous and sharp on the edges and one of my kids accidentally hit her leg. I believe it can be easily fixed with some edging Or someone who’s swimming towards it can easily knock their head on one of those sharp edges on the steps It’s not a big deal but parking can be a bit far if you have to travel with kids and move luggage. So best drop all the luggage before going for the reserved parking at a reasonable price of 35$ a night

The cleanliness of the room was amazing, it smelled very nice and we loved the hand/body/shampoo washes they have provided, they smelled absolutely divine and had body lotion as well. The location was superb, close to lots of nice cafes and attractions. Pool and gym were also great. If you're driving there is an off site parking which is very close, 4-5min walk, for $27 a day (normally $50 but you need to get the ticket validated at Vibe Hotel for it to be $27) and honestly it's worth it knowing the car is safe and sound. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

Hotel in general was really relaxing. My family and I stayed for a week and we especially loved the pool and service. Though pool was not really big, but there were just a few guests that go to it so it was ok. Service was superb. Location was great as well. It's walking distance to most of the famous places. Near many restaurants as well and Woolies was right next to the hotel. The room got cleaned everyday, and breakfast was delicious. Overall, it was a lovely stay, we would definitely book again if we were to return to Tasmania.

Parking, the building next to it was good enough but it could have been more convenient and lest costly if hotel has own parking. More choices in breakfast maybe, given we stayed for week; but it was already good as it is.

Very modern entrance to hotel, glamorous upmarket feel. Fit out was very tasteful in the lifts and rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly. Lounge in the room was a nice touch and room fit out was nice. Large room. Good amount of space. Bathroom was spotless clean. Easy close access to groceries and shops and the mall.

Street - lane entrance to the hotel is not very attractive. It's not on the waterfront but nice walk to the harbourside. Hotel foyer and sitting area is very nice. View from my room was just more urban built landscape but I think you can upgrade to a view. Neighbourhood had some run rougher edges though the city overall has a lot of old charm plus modern elements. Seemed expensive for its location and no view but a quality hotel all the same.

Excellent stay made ever better by the staff. This is my third time staying at the Vibe for business. I love this hotel. The staff was welcoming and responsive and even remembered me from my stay last year. We had a couple of minor issues with our room and they immediately came to help. The wait staff in the were lovely and we really enjoyed their happy hour every day we were there. Its perfectly located next to a small shopping center which made grabbing groceries and necessities so easy. Walking distance to the waterfront and Salamanca. I cannot recommend this place more

Literally nothing. I really like this hotel and will be using this as our regular location whenever I come to Hobart for business.

The Vibe is actually on par or better than the more expensive luxury hotels we stayed at (Henry Jones, The Tasman): the entrance is undercover (handy when it is raining), the lobby is very inviting and warm - it was very cosy sitting on the sofas in front of the fire. The receptionist we checked in with was very professional and friendly. We were upgraded - not sure if this was from Booking.com or the hotel but much appreciated! The suite was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The blackout curtains do their job really well. Love having mugs to drink out of instead of little cups! The location is very handy as it's in the CBD and walking distance to North Hobart and the wharf.

The view from the bedroom was of the carpark not far below which meant the curtains had to be permanently closed. There was no movie channel but at the price we paid we weren't really expecting one.
