Everything was very clean and maid service was great. The breakfast was good and provided a nice variety. I interacted with 4 staff and all were very pleasant and helpful. My room looked into a back-of -buildings area, and the shutters and heavy drapes kept out all noise and light. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated having the option to use 2 blankets; I'd just been in neighboring countries and was frustrated by having only a heavy duvet that was always too warm. The location was perfect- a 5-minute walk to Piazza San Marco but just off the flow of tourists. There were 3 restaurants on the same short street and a lovely restaurante very near.

The bathroom was small and very tight. To close the door to reach the toilet, I had to lean into the shower stall, and I'm a relatively small person. A large person couldn't have functioned in that room.

Ideally placed small hotel with friendly staff. I visited as a solo female traveller around New Year's eve after a trip to Rome and it was easy to find after asking at the tourist reception in San Marco square(Sant Zulien Church and the Clocktower are landmarks to look for as it's behind there) Two Gondolier stops directly outside the entrance with a Spar convenience store too!! Although there is a well stocked mini bar in the room which isn't terribly expensive with wine, spirits and snacks. I'd also recommend the restaurant opposite left of the entrance for dinner and a glass of wine whilst people watching and Restaurant Gigi's for dinner. Their pasta with Prawns and Black Truffle is divine. Gigi's is a 10min walk away and is a great find. The hotel will store luggage after check out when asked if your flight is later in the evening which is helpful. I'd definitely return to stay again.

Although the hotel is small there are two "reception" areas; one on level 1 and another on level 4 which isn't clear when you get to the hotel. I had to search for a team member to check in. Apart from that literally everything was great.

The lift wasn’t working for the full 5 days I was there, I was on the third floor so lots of steps going up and down in the heat of summer was not ideal, but I’m young so it was not a problem. The staff helped me with the luggage when I got in though. And that was excellent otherwise I would have died 🥺. Also the breakfast was very basic. Almost nothing to be honest. Not worth buying extra for breakfast.

everything was pretty perfect, as expected. The check-in staff was great, and helpful. Location, room, view, breakfast, directions... It's in line with all previous visits we have had to Venice. This location was especially convenient.

There was never anyone at the check-in desk or at breakfast to help us. The first morning we looked for staff everywhere to get some coffee. Eventually we went into the kitchen and made our own coffee, assuming that was to be expected, because there was no staff. Eventually a housekeeping staff arrived and scolded us for going into the kitchen. She showed us that there was a Private sign on the kitchen door ... however, the door was always open, so the sign could not be read.

Everything was perfect! We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed every bit of it. The breakfast was spectacular. The croissants are world-class!! We have many options too, so this is really appreciated, especially since most food in Venezia is overpriced :( The location is so perfect; it is literally five minutes to many famous tourist areas. After we checked out, we realised we had left some of our shopping in the room. I immediately emailed the hotel, and they followed it up by sending the items to my home address. Forever grateful that we chose this hotel during our trip. Will definitely go back!

Location. The reception staff was really nice. The hotel kept our luggage after the checkout.

Breakfast food was not fresh and the lady taking care of it was rude and not helpful. I wanted more coffee but I was uncomfortable to ask her. Better skip it and go somewhere else.

The hotel is located very near St. Mark's square but tucked back away from crowds. The friendly staff were so helpful - they helped us find unique restaurants, arrange taxi to the airport and worked with us when the flights were canceled. The breakfast was included with wonderful coffee, fruits, sweets and variety of foods offered in a cozy rooftop room with lots of light. Also conveniently located right next to a grocery store and a few doors down from Gelato.

The size of the bathroom was too compact in single rooms. One had to step into the shower to close the door. It was workable, but not ideal. May be better to remove door (single room).

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was spacious for a family of three and clean. The wifi connection was a but poor in the inner bedroom but we managed connecting in the outer one. Breakfast could be slightly improved with a better variety but we loved the roof top floor where it was served with the lovely view. The location is fantastic! just around the corner from St Marco's square and lots of great restaurants and pizza places. The gondola ride from the hotel is super! Would love to stay there again.

Very prime location close to Saint Mark’s but *just* far enough away to be a little removed from the worst of the crowds. I appreciated the old-world Venetian style of my room—deep, rich blue hues and floral designs. I might add the AC worked very well, too. And the breakfast was especially tasty with a different cake option available on my two mornings.

Take the stairs with care—not an issue for me, but they might be tricky to navigate for those used to American hotels.

The team at Ca’ Del Campo couldn’t do enough to help, everyone was very warm and welcoming and provided some fantastic restaurant recommendations! Rooms were comfortable and clean, maybe could have done with a little updating but I am no expert in interior design!

Ok… so my stay wasn’t without issue. I couldn’t get hot water on the second day of my stay! While this was an issue it was handled impeccably by the hotel, alternative arrangements were made immediately for me to shower while they investigated the problem and an alternative room offered once they understood the cause. A partial refund was given for the inconvenience without any haggling or question… honestly could not fault the hotels response to the situation.
