I had an overall pleasant experience. Thanks a lot. The location is excellent — conveniently situated near key attractions, which made getting around the city very easy. The staff were one of the highlights of my stay. They were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, which really made me feel welcome. One area that could use some improvement is the breakfast offering. While it was generally decent, I was surprised to find that there were no vegetables available. Including tomato, cucumbers or lettuce would greatly enhance the meal. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning, especially if the breakfast options are expanded a bit.

The location was perfect—right in the heart of Venice and so easy to get around. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Catia treated us like family and went above and beyond to make my daughter’s birthday feel truly special. We felt so welcomed and cared for. Grazie mille, Locanda Silva! Towels were very fresh and room cleaned daily. Also has lots of extra shower and bathroom across hall with was very good.

The only downside was the room needing a bit of a refresh—walls could use repainting due to some leftover “mosquito battles.”

The staff were the best! Very helpful and obliging. The man&woman working at breakfast were so warm, kind& very funny. We had great fun despite the language barrier. Thanks to the two men on reception who gave us plenty of time, tips& directions on seperate occasions. The staff here were the best we came across in Italy. 10/10. Will definitely return.

It's in a v central location once we got there. It was a 30 min walk from the train st - we found that tricky in the heat with bags. Water bus would have been a better idea.

Excellent location to explore Venice - only a 5-7 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. It is situated just outside of the most crowded areas. My room was comfortable and quiet. Great service. Nice breakfast.

Getting to the hotel using water buses (vaporetto) requires some additional walking, 10-20 minutes from the closest water bus piers (there are two options) - think about how much luggage you have. Or, you would have to get an expensive individual water taxi.

The hotel is nice, with a great location. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and polite. The rooms have good facilities considering the price, including a sink in the room, which is convenient since other facilities are shared. The place has a vintage feel, which I found aesthetically pleasing and even somewhat romantic. There's a beautiful terrace on the top floor as well.

The restrooms and bathrooms are shared, and even though they are very clean, it may take some time to get used to. The breakfast is good, but it would be even better if there were more options for solid food besides snacks. Overall, I think it's completely reasonable considering the price.

The location is great once you know how to get there. I have attached the map that they give you at the hotel. It was my first time in Venice, and it took me about an hour to find it (without GPS), as some streets are really just walkways, and once you take a wrong turn, you are lost. No elevator and 3 floors. My room didn't have a private bathroom, so I had to use the public ones, which were always clean and available. The view was great, but because it's close to the busy square and canal you can expect noise from 7am to 11pm. Breakfast was sufficient for my needs (yogurt, juice, sandwiches, cereal, sweets, coffee, fruit). I will stay here again.

The place could do with a fresh coat of paint.

This hotel is on a beautiful little street with great access to restaurants, museums and ferries. A little further out some gardens. When you first walked in, you think it’s quite dated and the carpet is older, but the rooms are fresh and refurbished.

With the price paid, I was disappointed there was no help offered with the bags, especially after walking 35 minutes through Venice and across 8 to 9 bridges.

Location: close to attractions and transportation stops, at the same time in A quiet neighborhood. The rooms are not very spacious, but it is in Venice after all. Still enough space. Do not expect a special design or sophistication in the interior. But you get everything you need for a short time stay. The room is very clean, and the staff are very friendly, helpful. It felt like we were part of the big family.

There is nothing that I did not like.

I am having trouble to find anything bad about this property- it is old and spreading across I think 3 buildings but it is part of its charm and what you come to Venice for. Staff was very friendly and the lady at breakfast extremely friendly and kind.

The only thing I did not like that it is reasonably far from public transport ( especially if one has heavy suitcases) and the water taxi do not go there.

The location is superb, few minutes walk and you are in the city center, it's very close to St Marco Plaza. The staff is super nice, both from reception and from the restaurant, I would definitely recommend my friends to choose this hotel when they ask for my opinion.

What I am writing here is probably a common problem with all hotels in Venice not just this one. Because the buildings here are relatively ancient, the soundproofing of the room was not very good and the sound of the guests next room slamming the door on their way in and out would disturb me. But like I said, this problem is probably the same with all hotels here.
