Very comfortable, well designed (but small) rooms. Lovely front desk staff. Lively lobby with small bar and cafe. Free laundry in the basement. Excellent location, near tube and stores. Rooms at the back of the hotel very quiet and looking over lovely courtyard.

Ember Locke is quickly becoming my home away from home. I walked into the reception and literally swooned from the feeling of homecoming I received. The smell. The plush furnishing. The excited and welcoming scream of my name. The hugs. Sigh. People are the heart of Ember Locke. The staff knows every guest's name. They are friends. They are family. It's not unusual to get to the reception and find guest and staff engaged in conversation and you'd wonder who was who. The conviviality in the air is always infectious. What sets Ember Locke apart though is the space. Not just the beauty of the physical space (and like all Locke properties, the interior design is award winning), rather, it is the space that the whole establishment gives the guest to BE. To work, to chill, to engage... To whatever-works-for-the-guest. When they say it's your space, they mean it. And actively work at making you believe it. Every second of every day.

The steps at the entrance. We really need someone to help guests with their luggage up those stairs. I am done talking about the early closure of the garden area. It's not their fault.

We love the decoration, the artistic decoration of the Ember Locke Hotel. It was curated like an interior Musume with beautiful colors and textures. We give 10/10 for the hotel's appearance; every single piece they use and the colors are so good. The location is very convenient, super close to Earl's Court and also to South Kensington (if you like V&A and other museums, this is a great location). Staffs are very adorable and friendly.

There are only three things we did not quite like: 1) The bed is too soft so my back hurts like hell after a week of traveling. The pillows are too soft too even tho I stack them up, just FYI. 2) They only do weekly cleaning so be prepared to have your own trash bag because there is only one tiny little trash bin in the bathroom. 3) The room is beautiful but not quite practical. No fridge, no trash can that can hold at least three days of trash.

Thank you to Patrizia and staff at the main desk for facilitating our needs. We like the overall vibe of the hotel, the decor, the location and delicious breakfast! A wonderful stay in a lovely neighborhood.

Rooms look exactly like pictures! Beautiful interiors throughout the whole hotel, lounge & outdoor area. Love how the room has all the kitchen amenities. Amazing central location in Kensington. Yet Feels like a retreat.

Would love to be able to get simple beverages like bottles of water easily. The bed linen/sheets were actually quite scratchy and uncomfortable. Personal opinion :) Not sure if it’s because the hotel is brand new. But all the hotel workers using the reception/lobby as a office and having loud meetings/calls is quite strange - disturbs the peacefulness aspect.

The closeness to transportation, restaurants and everything was so clean and I loved the chic modern vibe of the lobby, cafe and the room. The bed was very comfortable-

The lighting over the kitchen area was a little dark- a light under the cabinet would be great.

Beautiful room. The most aesthetic bar and instagram worthy cafe downstairs. The food was also excellent and we enjoyed having breakfast there. Located very close to the train and bus which made it easy to get to other places. Having a washing machine was very useful.

For the amount I was paying there should have been a small fridge and a microwave in the room.

This place redefined hotels for me. I was drawn in by the room and lobby photos online and it 100% delivered. It looked exactly like the photos and the service was impeccable. I saw a few bad reviews and it honestly made me mad for them that people could write anything bad about this magical place. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

I was only sad that I didn't have more time to spend here, especially in the lobby and breakfast nook. One minor note - they refilled the conditioner bottle in the shower with shampoo, so I had 2 shampoos and no conditioner. I'm sure they would've given me some, though, if I'd messaged or gone downstairs to ask.

Booked to stay in a suite (608) the night before our wedding and getting ready here in the morning. Staff were lovely and accommodating, they were proactive and kept me informed about guests coming up to the room - shout out to Patricia who checked us in! Interior of the place overall is lovely and unique. Suite size was decent and bed was comfortable (albeit a bit awkward because of the slanting ceiling). Staff were accommodating when taking our pictures and allowed us the space we needed which was very nice! Very centrally located so it's close to the train station and a Sainsbury's local just a 2 minute walk.

Bathroom could've been cleaner as there was limescale around the tap and I know it might be the aesthetics of the room, but lighting wasn't good, it was dark even with all the lights on. I could hear the cars and sometimes sirens despite being on the top floor but wore earplugs which helped. Could've done with some cushions on the sofa and a little note or something to say congratulations? Just to add that special touch

Ember Locke exceeded all our expectations. The interior is stunning, the facilities were fantastic in our suite, and all members of staff were so helpful and lovely. Our veggie breakfasts were amazing and only wished we could have stayed longer to try the restaurant. We would not hesitate to recommend Ember Locke to everyone we know and hope to return soon.
