The property was lovely. 10 minutes to centre by car. Breakfast was nice but basic. Room was very spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely with our baby too.

The pool was closed despite the temperatures being 28/29degrees. The description on booking.com only states this in Italian not English. Very off putting as this was the only reason we chose this hotel. There’s an extra charge for air conditioning in the rooms, we asked for air con but we’re told that the owners wouldn’t allow it until July!! It was too hot in the room especially with a baby. There was no water or refreshments in the room, no kettle to make coffee or tea. These massively let the property down for us.

My stay at Rate Hotel Panoramic Montepulciano was absolutely fantastic! The hotel truly lives up to its name — the panoramic views are breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality made me feel really welcome. The pool area is amazing — clean, quiet, and with stunning views of the Tuscan hills. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options, and the location is perfect for exploring Montepulciano and the beautiful surrounding area. I really enjoyed every moment of my stay — peaceful, comfortable, and unforgettable!

The hotel was located a few minutes driving from the walled town of Montepulciano. The property is very well maintained and the surroundings are breathtaking. The room was big and comfortable for all 4 of us. Breakfast is good and the ability to take it in the terrace overlooking the stunning view is a big plus. The pool seemed pretty cool although we didn't have enough time to enjoy it. We would certainly recommend this hotel and come back in the future.

The hotel is totally automated and it wasn't fully explained to us that the AC would turn off if we opened the windows or even touched the control panel. As a result, we spent a very hot and noisy night since at around midnight there were some random fire works coming out from one of the bedrooms close to ours.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Panoramic Montepulciano. The location is close to the city and the area's attractions. The room is very clean, as is the bathroom, which is quite spacious. It was the best shower we had on our trip to Italy. The hotel is in the middle of the forest. It is very quiet, with only the birds singing. The view is beautiful and the pool area is very pretty. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive. We recommend the hotel to everyone. We hope to return someday.

Hotel is big and clean. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Beautiful views. Breakfast was decent .

- The hotel seemed cold , heating didn't seem to work - pillows were flat but given extra pillows on asking - No tea coffee ,kettle in the room - No check in after 7pm so had to rush back . Apparently gates close and entry is from separate gate after 7pm. Seemed bit like a curfew. - No kitchen for dinner or facility to order in. Needed to go to a restaurant in the village ( 5 mins drive) for dinner . - Not concerned with the hotel but Restaurants there apparently have a cover charge of 3 euros per person for meals.

Everything the hotel was in a beautiful location with breathtaking views. The room had a large balcony and the place is close to the town of Montepulciano. It was very quiet and the room was nice. The bathroom and shower were super clean and very comfortable. The outdoor free parking is great to have with back entry access. The sweet breakfast that is included every morning was very good and filling. If you prefer the salty breakfast with cold cuts there is an extra fee of 10 euros.

The television size is a tad bit too small and a restaurant available on site would be convenient for the evenings.

A huge, spacious room allows a family with children to spend time comfortably. Beautiful garden and pool surrounded by an orchard providing shade when relaxing. Great location in the heart of Montepulciano, perfect spot for exploring Tuscany. Maybe, not within walking distance, but close to some nice restaurants and vineyards (but no restaurant on site!). Convenient (even covered) parking and breakfast on the terrace with an amazing view.

The breakfast service was quite grotesque, the choice extremely limited (no vegetables or fruit, for example), coffee from the coffee machine a'la vending machine, either missing glasses, cutlery or croissants etc. The pool is great, but it only opens at 10am and closes at 6pm, so if you actively explore the area it's super difficult to use it.... In the end it is worth going there, but a few issues need improvement.

The hotel is nice, with great views from the area in front of reception. Good parking on spot. Great pool with very nice spacey lawn around, suitable for sports.

The breakfast was a joke. Nothing but a few cookies and sweet pastries wrapped in plastic, and a couple of jam and honey packages. No fruits or vegetables, no milk, nothing warm, nothing fresh. Salty breakfast can be bought for extra 20 EUR/person, which is ridiculous.

Great value for money, refurbished and spacious rooms, amazing views, you can enjoy a drink or dinner outside overlooking Tuscan hills. Breakfast was better than I read in reviewers, it is made of packed pastries, biscuits, toast…mainly sweet options. Andrea is a funny guy and gave us good recommendations of where to eat or visit!

You cannot really control de aircon in the room, it is either on or off.

Location, cleanliness, comfort of the room and beds. It was wonderful for a family. The only problem was minor. While the staff was very gracious and friendly the food offered for breakfast was only pre-packaged breads and sweets. It was a small thing considering everything else and we enjoyed several cappuccinos the lady that served breakfast was exceptionally kind and helpful. We also enjoyed the recommended restaurants.
