Happy with my stay. Single en suite room within a ground floor apartment. Pay on arrival. Keys provided for outside door, apartment & room. Very secure. Wifi code. Comfortable single bed & single pillow. TV. Air con unit. Coffee machine & small fridge. They provide some pre-wrapped pastries & coffee pods in room. Hot shower unit & toiletries, good towels & hairdryer/tongs. Mini table & 2 chairs. Transport links - it’s only 8 mins walk from Pisa Central train station, then Pisamover shuttle to airport €5. It’s a 15 minute walk to the Leaning Tower.

No real criticism of the accommodation for the price. It’s not fancy but is clean and has everything you need for an overnight stay or few days. Suggestions: What I found was no where to hang/store any clothes if you were staying longer, it would be better to have something for this use rather than having the table/2 chairs in the small room, and then the bedside table would be able to be by the bed as it’s on the other side of the room at the moment. I would suggest also to provide a china cup/mug for the coffee instead of the tiny plastic cups/glass provided & some milk cartons would be good too. Also needed is to provide a knife to spread the Nutella/jam with. All these are only suggestions to improve this room for future clients.

We chose 6 keys as it was sooo close to the train station for our return journey home.... Communication re time of arrival is required for check in as rooms are on the ground floor of a complex. Check in was smooth and the lady was lovely. The room was very clean and more typically Italian with outdoor shutters on the windows. Small fridge, drink making facilities and snack items were a nice touch. Although it felt a little tired decor wise, it was homely and shower was very good and hot. The fridge was not very cold however. Basic and worth the money

Nothing really.... I did feel cold at night but there was additional quilt in the wardrobe.

I was satisfied with my stay at 6 Keys. My room was warm and cozy and clean. Bed was comfortable with clean sheets and dovet. The ensuite was clean and hygienic with towel provided. The shower was powerful and hot which I liked. There was also a TV included in the room. The Welcome tray in the room was excellent with snacks, tea, coffee, sugar, kettle and a coffee Maker with coffee pods, although milk was not provided. The host kindly provided me with some milk once I had asked her. The Host of 6 Keys was friendly, and the location was good, Just a 30 minute walk to The Leaning Tower of Pisa. I think I did get value for money for a budget B&B accommodation

The building was multi store. 6 Keys was based on the first level up a staircase. The entry to this building didn't look inviting. I was given 3 Keys, 1 key for front entry to building, 1 key to enter 6 Keys accommodation and another Key for my room. The front building entrance hallway was not pleasant. There was a foul smell, which was awful. 6 Keys does not have the Host available at all times. You are left to your own devices, so if you have any questions or difficulties these won't be addressed. The Welcome tray really should provide milk in my opinion. You also have to pay a tax payment on check-in which I wasn't expecting. Breakfast is not included in the price of the accommodation, this is an extra cost.

We had a room with private bathroom in 6 Keys. All was super clean, and the beds very comfy. As described the room is not so big, but if you just come there for sleeping it fullfills all what you need. The location is very good, it is about 5 minutes from/to the train station, 20 minutes to the airport and about 12-14 minutes to the leaning tower place. To the town center with shops and restaurants it is even closer. The room and bathroom was equipped with bare necessities. We had a room facing the street corner that was a bit noisy. In particular when the youngsters racing by on their small italien motorbikes during the night (I guess everybody knows the sound they make). The hosts were super friendly and responded immediately to whatever request, all thumbs up.

Not sure it depends what one expects. We missed having some dishes. For coffee and drinking we had just 2 small classes. The main light was not very comfy, giving the feeling of a neon light atmosphere. What we definitely did not like, that our room and the entrance hall was smelling of these artifical flavors from the well known suspenders. We took the reservoir out of the room and opend all windows to get some fresh air. But perhaps these are just minor things and were only important to us.

Good communication with late check in. Staff very nice. Good location close to airport and central train station.

Basic hotel but ok for 1-night stay. Overpriced for basic room. Charged Eur20 for late check in Extorniate taxi fee of Eur80 booked through booking.com for a 7-minute journey from airport to 1 star hotel.(not fully advertised on booking site as 1-star!!!)

Handy for the train. Street map provided. A few coffees and teas provided too and a few cakes. Slept well for me, considering other factors. Would use again.

Room was adjacent to reception desk and also on street level on a corner and locals could often have lively debates nearby. So for light sleepers like me, could be worth considering. Also I am 36 inch waist and the shower cubicle was a tight squeeze (actually pressing into structure) so worth considering too. I've stayed in different city's for 8 days in Italy and it's no better or worse than others in this price range.

The room was simple but very nice. There were cookies and toast, as well as a coffee machine with capsules and tea bags. The toilet was outside the room, but this did not cause any inconvenience. In the toilet there was soap and shampoo for the shower. When checking into the hotel, no one answered the doorbell, I called the indicated phone number and the staff immediately arrived and did the check-in. The location of the hotel is excellent - especially if you arrive with train! Thanks to the staff for the hospitality!

My husband and I stayed here for a night while visiting the Tower and then again later on our trip for a further one night prior to flying home from Pisa. On both occasions, we were checked in easily and very pleasantly. Due to travel delays we were late checking in on the first stay but communication beforehand was good and the young man on Reception was very helpful. The room each time was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower are small but for short stays , this isn't a problem. It was amazingly quiet on each visit and we were able to sleep well. Provision of a kettle much appreciated! The location is within easy walking distance of both the train station and the Leaning Tower, plus pleasant eating places.

All fine and suited our requirements very well for each of our one night stays.

Excellent location, close to PIsa Centrale train station, but on a quiet street. Conad supermarket some 50 m away, main street with all the restaurants just around the corner. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Leaning tower. Great host, Teresa, very kind. Despite my expectations (one-star hotel), the room was large, it had all amenities (even coffe maker, fridge and A/C), and the bed was comfy. I had a peek in larger rooms (double vs. my single), and I loved the colours and how spacious they are.

The property needs some investment - just to look and feel more polished. It is dated and a bit oldfashioned. But still, great value for money!

We stayed for one night as a stopover for an early flight from the airport - the location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the train station. We were able to do some sight seeing as it was also near the city centre. The room was very clean and although on the ground floor felt airy - air con works! It is in a residential area, so not too noisy for a city centre location. The bathroom was compact but it had all we needed for one night. The service was excellent and the manager was really helpful - accommodating an earlier check-in than we had anticipated. Whilst there was no breakfast service, bottled water, coffee and snacks were provided upon arrival.
