The location was convenient, although when we arrived at the address, it wasn't that clear where the property was. We arrived in the dark and I was expecting to see a hotel entrance, whereas the property entrance is a wooden door to the building and the accommodation is just on the 4th floor. The name of the property is near the door, but is easily missed in the dark. I fortunately had the owner's mobile number so was able to call them and with their help, found where the front door was, which was then opened by them.

Had I realised the set up, I would have known how to find the entrance better.

Location was good, close to the river and within walking distance of the old town. Shower room was clean and well appointed.

When I booked, I didn't fully appreciate that this was an AirBnB type accommodation, and I was expecting a better vibe. The stair well is dark and dingy with quite a strong smell on the ground floor. Room was rather noisy. Other residents arrived in the adjacent room around midnight and were very loud. Door entry was problematic and had to call the hosts in order to get into the apartment late at night. It is very difficult to get a taxi at 4:00am if there is an early flight out in the morning.

This is a little gem. Very basic, but perfectly set up. The room and bathroom are very clean and fitted with bug nets so you can sleep with the windows open. The hosts are lovely - very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The building looks a little off-putting when you first arrive, particularly as the piazza is small, on a main intersection and there are building works taking place next door. But once you get in and meet the hosts, everything is great. They do not provide breakfast, but you're so close to everything that its easy to pop out for a great coffee and focaccia just across the bridge. Perfect location close to everything.

Very close to the city centre but also to the train station that worked well for us. Nice to be able to look at the river from the communal space. The hosts were super welcoming and kindly let us leave our bags early in the day before check in.

Unfortunately there was a construction site right next to the room and the workers were right at the same height as our windows. Also it is right by a busy road, which is great for it's location but did come with considerable traffic noise. A shame if you want the windows open as it was just too loud from 6am to do so.

We were greeted in person by the owners who kept in touch and waited for us even with a flight delay. They couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful, which was lovely. The location is excellent - halfway between the station & the main attractions. Rooms are comfortable and clean & the dining room faces the river with lovely views. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

No option for breakfast, despite what it says in the listing, but coffee available from a machine.

Really great property and location. Perfect for what we wanted a base relatively central and close to city and train station. Comfy beds clean room and shower and bathroom etc.

Only improvment was we could only turn the air con to 24 degrees which was still a bit hot while trying to sleep some nights. Especially when so hot outside a few degrees colder would have made a lovely difference. Other than that was great.

Brilliant stay at Vacanze Pisane. The owners were really lovely and welcoming. The room was well kitted out and the bathroom was modern. The whole place was very clean. The location was excellent with it being a short walk between the station and the main town. No breakfast provided but some nearby cafes and a dining space in the building was available.

The hosts were very kind and supportive. The appartment is simple, clean, and conveniently located in walking distance from the Leaning tower, the train station, and the pedestrian street. Nice dining room with a view to the river. Complimentary espresso offered at the property.

The road nearby can get a bit noisy.

Only negative if anything I could say was the double bed was 2 singles that were put together which came apart, but that wasn't an issue and only thing I could think of.

Noise from the street and from the other rooms. It's a little bit cold and the water pressure is low. Pisa is a medieval town, so you can expect this.
