I’ll never forget my first trip to Italy. I’ll always remember how Paola, the landlady, took me up to the terrace — the view of the Pisa Tower was absolutely breathtaking! The location of the B&B is unbeatable: right in the heart of Pisa, within walking distance of all the main attractions, and only a five-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast was varied and very good. Paola is incredibly friendly and welcoming. My son left his headphones at the hotel, and Paola kindly texted us to let us know she had found them and that we could pick them up on our way back from Florence. When we returned to Pisa the day before our flight back to Spain, she was so thoughtful and made sure to be at the hotel to meet and greet us personally. We had such a lovely chat about our travels — she truly made time for us. We talked about how much we loved our trip and how much we enjoyed Pisa.

The property was fantastic, we had a great stay. The room was a large triple, with comfy beds. We loved the Italian home style, and Paola was very welcoming and helpful with advice about what to see and walking routes to take. The property was easy to find (directly next to a Carrefour Express) and a short walk from the train station. Paola contacted us in advance to arrange our arrival time, which worked perfectly for check-in. Breakfast was self serve at a time that suited us which worked brilliantly for us with a three year old who wakes at 7am! While the breakfast room was hot, this was not an issue for us, the whole of Pisa was hot! Would certainly recommend a stay here.

We liked everything. The only comment we have is that the air-con in our room was not very cold, but nonetheless it was a very welcome relief from the humid and hot temperatures outside.

We really enjoyed staying here. It’s good location just few minutes from Pisa centrale for trains to Florence and it’s easy to walk to airport as well like 20min I really enjoyed breakfast what was self served but really good selection and coffee wasn’t limited like in other places. Plus carafs of water left in rooms was really thoughtful Enjoyed relaxing on terrace and seeing Pisa tower

We stayed two nights with one night break as we have checked before if there would be option to have flexible check in time with keypad or something would give more flexibility.

Paola was very good when our flight was delayed and stayed to meet us long after the agreed time. She gave us good instructions on where to eat and the best way to walk to the leaning tower. Breakfast is self-serve, and there is a good selection of food available to choose from. Coffee was good 😁 The bed was comfortable. We were able to leave our suitcases there when we checked out for collection hours later.

The water pressure in the shower and that the bathroom door squeaked very loudly when opening, so it was hard to sneak quietly to the loo in the middle of the night.

B&B Dei Cavalieri is less than 5 minutes walk from Pisa Centrale station and an easy walk to Pisa's historic 'Field of Miracles' where the leaning tower and cathedral are situated. Paola and her assistant are exceptional hosts with a gift for making guests feel welcome and cared for and instantly right at home. The B&B is charming and full of character, which reflects the owner. It's comfortable, immaculately clean and full of thoughtful touches. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the main station and about 15 minutes to the center. cathedral and tower. The room is in the attic, comfortable having enough space and possibility of using the shared terrace in the lower part of the apartment with a view over the city. The room is very clean and towels. are included.

However, a breakfast may be better, only very good value is a coffee or tea you can make, other foods may be better. Cheese and ham offered are very poor, e.g. slices of Dutch cheese in a commercial plastic pack (it may be an Italian cheese that can be also offered on acceptable price), cereals have been standing for a long time and were rancid, there were no fruits. The most offered foods are lot of commercial packaged sweets that have been standing in the room for days, creating an image of a good breakfast. Recommend to buy the foods (on the same quality) for the breakfast by yourself in the Cearrefour market located a next door to the entrance in the building in which is B&B apartment, instead of paying for the breakfast.

The B&B is within easy walking distance of the station, even with heavy suitcases. The shuttle from the airport comes into a platform at the back so you do have to walk down the slope and through the tunnel under the railway and up in the lift to get to the front. There is also a lift at the B&B to the top floor. The lady kindly stayed later than usual to receive us after our late flight. It was helpful having the key so we could pick up our cases later in the day for onward travel.

After arriving quite late at night, the wealth of instructions was quite hard to remember and we didn't manage to get the coffee machine to produce any coffee in the morning when there was no-one there to ask. A set of instructions would have been useful.

The host greeted us upon arrival and was extremely informative and welcoming. We was shown everything including instructions for breakfast, which was self service and generously stocked. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and homely. The terrace has a view of the leaning tower. Great location, 5 minute walk from the train station and only 20 minutes walk to the tower and cathedral. Highly recommend.... we will definitely return.

The decor was really lovely, like a traditional guest house, even though it was in what looked like an office block. The room had good facilities , was clean and relaxed. Paola was helpful in showing where to visit and how to walk via the pedestrian road to the river/historic centre. Good, quiet aircon. It was v close to the Keith Haring mural and Art Burger restaurant (which does amazing burgers). Lots of more traditional food nearby too.

The only downside was staff were not there but they replied immediately to WhatsApp messages. The breakfast had a lot of sweet stuff and again no one was there to ask. There was yogurt and lovely fresh fruit juice though, so some healthy stuff.

The location is very close to the train station and relatively close to be able to walk (the town is small!) to Piazza dei Miracoli (and therefore to the leaning tower) which makes it a good choice for a mini-tourist trip! The location is very pleasant The first pleasant surprise was the operation of the elevator, because the location is on the 6th floor of the building! The common area (where Paola has arranged a portion for breakfast) is a beautiful one that exudes a family atmosphere. As for the breakfast, it was appreciated by us because although it was not a continental breakfast but rather an upgraded Italian one, we found a lot (and plenty) to be satisfied. For those who are into the English breakfast style or egg fans, you won't find anything like that BUT there are plenty of options (all cold) from which you can choose. Again, for the two nights we stayed there, the breakfast was good The room according to the description, was OK for two nights, but I will list some downsides below

If the first pleasant surprise was the elevator, it was also the first unpleasant one, because the motor driving it was somewhere very close to us and we could hear it with every command... Especially at night, this is unpleasant and for those who sleep lightly it can be a big problem. Moreover, the problem of sound insulation is one that we have constantly encountered in Italy. Here from our room, the conversations in the common area could be heard as if they were in our room... Similarly, when you flush the toilet, the sound can be heard throughout the apartment. It was disturbing that, despite the patience we were advised to have, the hot water did not flow during our stay!!!
