The room was very comfortable, great size bathroom. Breakfast was $10 euro, it was decent, but could get a better breakfast nearby for less. Nearby bus stops made it super easy to get to downtown and everywhere we wanted to go. Friendly staff.

The location was not bad, but being quite near the train station, it was not the best kept neighborhood. We weren't able to change the AC setting and we got cold at night.

Our stay at the Hotel Emona Aqueductus was an absolute dream from start to finish. What truly set this hotel apart was the incredible customer-centric communication we experienced even before we arrived. As this was our first trip to Rome, we had a bit of travel anxiety, but the hotel's team was proactive, helpful, and even arranged all our transportation from the airport and later to our cruise port. This thoughtful gesture gave us so much confidence and peace of mind. The front desk staff were simply outstanding. They were genuinely kind, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure every guest felt comfortable and cared for. This warm and personal service truly made us feel like family. We needed two rooms for our family, and they were both fantastic. Our children (a mix of young adults and teenagers) had a spacious and comfortable room for three, while we were given one of their best rooms, #32. This room was a highlight, with a balcony and a spectacular view—the perfect spot for enjoying a coffee in the morning or a spritz in the evening while watching the city below. The rooms were all comfortable, impeccably clean, and well-appointed, making the hotel feel like a true home away from home. Finally, the location was perfect. We felt completely safe walking to all the major attractions, including the Colosseum, which was just a 20-minute stroll away, and to many amazing local restaurants. We can't recommend Hotel Emona Aqueductus highly enough. It's a true 5-star experience that we will never forget!

Very friendly staff, very clean room and good beds. Not much space around beds but this was a family room. Overall very happy with the stay.Cleanliness, helpful staff and nice surroundings. Nice area outside. Good breakfast, watch out for the time, the close breakfast at 9.30

I would take a taxi there from the train station, it's a long walk and through shady streets near the train station. But the surroundings and the area is fine when you get there.

We were recommended this hotel by a colleague when booking our trip to Rome – and I am so incredibly grateful for that tip! From the very first moment we stepped through the doors, we felt truly welcome. The hotel is absolutely magical – a soul-soothing oasis with an atmosphere that blends charm, warmth, and the comforting feeling of being at home, right in the heart of Rome. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and always spotless, breakfast was fantastic, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. But what truly made the difference was the staff – absolutely wonderful people who genuinely care about their guests. A very special thank you to Vlado and Angela, who with their warmth, kindness, and exceptional service made our trip even more memorable. You are the true gems of this place! We are leaving with full hearts and big smiles – and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience Rome with accommodation that feels just as magical as the city itself.

This Hotel is a gem. It has a wonderful rustic, old Villa feel - marble and tiled floors, lovely design, high ceilings, vintage pieces of furniture - so much style. The beds were extremely high quality and comfortable - the only thing I would change about them is the pillows - I missed having pillows filled with down (duck feathers), that would have been perfect. The staff was incredible, Vlado, and both the younger receptionists were all incredibly kind - treating us almost every day to coffee and croissants, playing great music, giving great recommendations for our visit to Rome. The coffee was awesome, and the garden caffe - just lovely, rustic, Italian in the best way! <3 All in all - great value for our money, with an old Villa vintage feel, great garden, and lovely staff! Highly recommended!

The only thing that really bothered me was the flushing in the toilets-it is one of those situations where, if you use toilet paper in a normal but carefree way, you can count on it not wanting to be flushed for ages....We had to flush several times for a little bit of toilet paper to go down every time. And that is a silly little thing that is still bothersome.

Everything was incredible! We had bed and breakfast package for our first time in Rome. Breakfast was plenty and good quality, Lupi was amazing and kind at the mornings. The local fresh fruits were so juicy and delicious! Our room was spacious, we had an incredible view from the windows to an orange tree, the old town wall and neighbours. I loved the high ceilings, the tall windows, the stained bathroom glass window, our balcony and the stone flooring (so pretty!). Bed was comfortable, we slept very good. The location is super as it is very close to tram, bus and metro stations. You can also find free drinking water fountain nearby the hotel which I recommend to use, safe to drink all around Rome. Receptionists male staff were polite and nice every day and night. We are sad to leave, but we hope to be back soon after perfecting our italian! 🥰

This was a quaint little hotel that’s off the beaten path. The rooms are comfortable and clean with new air conditioning and the staff was wonderful. When we arrived, we were very hot and tired, and the young man at the front desk immediately got us some water and offered us espresso. He was so kind and genuinely concerned about our accommodations to make sure we were comfortable. He offered to help us navigate around the city. The others at the front desk were just as nice and welcoming. Our first night we got cold because our bedding was only a sheet so we requested blankets and they made our beds with more bedding so we wouldn’t get cold again. I can honestly say this was the most comfortable place that we stayed at during our time in Italy.

The location of the hotel is not close to any of the big attractions, but it was OK because we use the metro to get around and it wasn’t a problem

This hotel is a little gem. It is a small property but absolutely delightful. The terrace area is so charming, especially at night with an Aperol Spritz. The staff are WONDERFUL. Tiny rooms but beautifully decorated. Ask for a room with a balcony that overlooks the Aqueducts! Reasonably priced and very memorable stay. Thank you to the wonderful team! Especially to Max and Angela!

My only thing is I wish they had telephones to be able to call down with a request or to book a wake-up call, but I think too few people rely on this type of service nowadays that it is probably obselete.

We stayed for five nights. The staff in this small hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating - made us feel like old friends. There was some building work going on in the hotel, which unfortunately led to a leak in our room - these things happen. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and quickly arranged to have us moved to a different (larger room), and compensated us for the disruption with complimentary drinks and snacks. We felt very looked after - they even found a fan heater to dry out a pair of boots that had been soaked (but thankfully not ruined!). What could have been an awkward situation couldn't have been handled better. Very comfortable beds and very clean. The location of the hotel was convenient for us - just two stops on the Metro from Termini and easy to explore the city from. The neighbourhood feels a little run down, like the rest of Rome, but it's quiet and feels like living in a pleasant suburb (in what was the affluent Roman Esquiline Hill area, just inside the old city walls - there's an aqueduct right outside, and the imposing Porta Maggiore just along the street - the sort of site that would be a huge historical attraction anywhere else in the world). There are some good and cheap restaurants in the vicinity. We would definitely come back!

No table or chairs in our first, smaller room, which made it feel a little less inviting. No kettle for making hot drinks. We only had breakfast in the hotel once - we arrived quite late and there wasn't a great deal left, but what there was was of good quality

The people working there are great, attentive and nice. Our room overlooked the courtyard and it was amazingly quiet at night. The bed was comfortable. Nice shower in a tropical rain style - I like it. The area is well connected to public transportation, we used the Moovit app and got to all our destinations easily. Opposite the hotel is Aqueduct Claudia - you feel the connection between the past and the present. We had a nice stay there.

The hotel and all the amenities in it are quite old. Something often breaks. When we checked in, the blinds didn't work. They were fixed in a couple of days. Once, our lock got stuck, but it was fixed quickly. The breakfast is very basic. It would have been nice if it had been a little more expensive but had more variety. The bathroom and bed were clean, but there were some trash on the floor from the previous guests and it stayed there for the entire seven nights of our stay. A few buildings away from the hotel there is a run-down house around which homeless people always sleep and it is quite dirty around there. It creates an unpleasant impression, but this house is the only one like that. The whole area makes a good impression.
