I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. When we arrived, the landlord introduced all the facilities very clearly. Although the staff do not speak English, they used a translator to communicate and were very kind. The breakfast was super nice and starts at 8:00. It’s a pity that on some days we had to leave early and couldn’t enjoy it. The staff were very attentive; they cleaned the room and bathroom every day, made the bed, and changed the towels every couple of days. Everything was always tidy and comfortable. The location is also great because it is only about a 15-minute walk from the central station, and there is a supermarket downstairs, which makes it very convenient if you need food or groceries.

The windows are not sealed well enough, so it’s not very soundproof. You can clearly hear cars passing by on the street.

We booked 1 night before return to our country. Check in after 5 pm a lil bit confusing, and need to contact the person ib charge and he/she will guide you until you get to the room. The location is perfect. Direct bus from Termini is available. Downstair got chinese restaurant also nearby got supermarket so easy for you to grocery. The bathroom is not inside the bedroom, but need to walk the aisle to get to the bathroom, but it is not shared with other room. They give key to each room for the bathroom. Breakfast was serve to the room and quite complete. They gave milk, yogurt, coffee, bread & jam too. For us, it is more than enough. They allowed us to keep our luggage too after check out so we can still go around without hustle with our luggage. The apartment is close to Basilica Lateran & Church of Santa Croce. Thank you!

Overall, the stay was good, but there are a few things to note. The breakfast was perfect. They even kindly left it ready for us the day before our early 6 a.m. departure, which was a thoughtful gesture. Also, it was great to be able to pay the city tax with a card, which added convenience.

The doors were very loud when closing, which can be disturbing at night. There was also noise coming in through the windows, so it may not be ideal if you're a light sleeper. We had a private bathroom, but it was located outside the room, which was a bit inconvenient.

The location is incredible, both to move around the city by walk and using public transports. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean. The furniture was simple and a bit “old style”, but functional. The breakfast was simple but generous, and it was served in the room. The private bathroom, just across the hall, was ok, it would benefit from some renovation works. The staff was nice and helpful. All in all, considering is the heart of rome, it was great value for money!

Having the breakfast served in your room gives you less flexibility, as you can’t change the time at the last minute. Furthermore, it generate more food waste, as you can’t pick what you want and everything is provided by default.

Staying at Santa Croce was an overall pleasant experience, everything was as described online. We read some reviews about toilets being outside the room and were a bit sceptic, but fortunately our double room had a bathroom inside as described. The room was completely clean and nice.

I can't say is it a minus or not, but the first day breakfast had most food on the trays, the second was a bit less (without ham and salami), and the last day it was not only no meat but also no eggs. Overall we had enough, but we were wondering what if we stayed a bit longer, would it be even less next day? Should we pay for the breakfast extra money like tips to have everything?

The property was comfortable and affordable. It was located near outdoor food venues and close to the metro and tram stops. The breakfast was excellent!

The property was secure and clean but the local municipal council need to be lobbied to clear up the litter in the local surrounding area and improve the night lighting (non-existent on one side of the road) in the neighbourhood.

Extraordinary delicious and full breakfast, very friendly and nice owner and ladies serving, possibility of leaving the luggage for free, very close to subway, walking distance from a number of attractions, Colloseum included. There is an independent heating and cooling by air conditioning. Walking distance from Termini and no need to take taxi or subway after leaving the shuttle from the airport. Nice local cafe at the street corner, with real Italian espresso serving at the counter.

The street is noisy and old windows do not stop this noise. But there are other advantages, that minimise this little problem. Also bathrooms require some renovation and better cleaning.

Good clean large comfortable room. The location was also near a metro station. Tram and bus station were also near by. The termini station is also not far. The breakfast was limited but good. The staff is helpful. Even though she doesn’t know English using a translation app she was able to communicate.

The bathroom is private but external. Hence u will have to cross the hall. But it’s actually not that big a problem. Please inform the lady your time of arrival as there is no reception as such. Hence she needs to be present to hand over keys.

The room is really large and comfortable. The balcony is a nice plus, especially for smokers. The paintings on the walls are quite beautiful too. We had a rich room served breakfast every morning and 2 very nice ladies (for Romanians, ask for Elena, she's really friendly) asking us every time if we need something. The location is great for visiting the Colloseum, Roman Forum and Unification Monument. The main Termini station is nearby and also the Manzoni Metro station too. There's also some shops on the ground floor for food.

The bathroom is not adjacent to the room yet it is private. It can be a bit noisy on the balcony as there is a main street down below.

I really liked the room – beautiful furniture, clean linens, and a comfortable bed. The balcony with a small table and chairs was very charming. The location is convenient – no crowds, close to the center, with a nice supermarket, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The staff is very polite and friendly. The breakfast was excellent.

The only disappointment was the mold in the bathroom. Although it’s cleaned, the lack of proper ventilation is noticeable.
