The staff were wonderful, polite and friendly. The fact that the hotel is right on the waterfront of the Grand Canal and within metres of the Rialto Bridge is obviously a massive selling point. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide range of choices, easily the best breakfast we’d had in any of our hotels this trip.

There is no lift from the lobby to the upper floors, however, being fit and injury-free, I was able to carry all of our luggage up to the first floor where our room was.

My family and I stayed for 8 nights in December and had a great experience. The hotel is safe, clean, and well-kept, and the location is excellent (right next to the Rialto Bridge). In addition, the staff is helpful and friendly. The best amenity is undoubtedly the breakfast. It is included in the cost of the room, and it is outstanding! Some advice: The restaurants located around the hotel are very nice, but they are also expensive. If you walk 10 or 15 minutes away from the canal, you can find some great places to eat that are a lot more affordable.

There is nothing that we did not like about this hotel.

Perfect location having the option to cross the Rialto or stay that side of the canal each day and evening. Really clean, rooms cleaned each day and delicious breakfast with cooked options as well as cold cuts and pastries. Family room that we had was large with windows that opened into an alley and an enclosed basement patio. It was on the 2nd floor and felt spacious considering there were 4 of us. Concierge were really helpful and happy to print tickets for me for museums when I had printed the wrong tickets. Always a smile and made to feel at home. Amazing water pressure on the showers!

The pillows weren’t brilliantly comfortable but for a few nights they were fine. We asked for a second pillow half way through our stay and staff were happy to help. That’s a very personal preference though and the mattresses were super comfy.

I liked the location, the venetian style of decoration was very nice (perhaps not to everyone's taste, but I liked it). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was very good in our room. The shower was good. Overall I liked this hotel.

No elevator, which might not seem like a big deal, but after walking up and down stairs on the bridges all day would have been really nice. The breakfast was pretty sub-par, especially at this price point. I feel that all of the hotels in Venice are overpriced for what they are just because of the location, not really a gripe against this one specifically, but if I paid this amount for a hotel in other places I would expect a lot.

We arrived early and didn't even bother to ask for an early check in because most hotels will say no. We simply asked to check out bags at the front desk so we didn't have to carry them around town. They not only offered to keep our bags, but they offered an early check in once they realized the room was ready. The hotel was immaculate and all of the staff were professional and friendly. The location is on the canal and right next to the Rialto Bridge. We will be staying here again in the future and won't consider looking anywhere else.

Spacious room for an older hotel. Pleasantly surprised at the space. We booked a standard room, no frills and we still thought we had a lovely room. I read a lot of of negative reviews on here that made me consider switching our hotel at the last minute and I'm really glad we didn't. One thing I kept reading was that it was noisy - while I could definitely hear noises outside when the workers were working in the back alley - whoever they were - it wasn't all day and only a couple of times. We could also hear a room above us in the bathroom, but this was minimal and just probably thin walls. Other than that I couldn't hear anything else in my room. Bed was super comfy and the AC worked GREAT! I also read the AC didnt' work well and I am always hot so I was really worried. But again, hotel exceeded my expectations. Wonderful location next to Rialto bridge. I also read that breakfast ran out quickly?? But my husband and I ate almost every day around 9:00/9:30 and there was plenty of food any time something looked low, staff was refilling it. I write all this just to give a different perspective because we had a great time and loved our stay despite many many negative reviews.

The location is very good, both in the center and on the edge of the canal. The design, appearance and atmosphere of the hotel are very good. The cleanliness is very good. The staff are professional! The breakfast is delicious and varied. We were very satisfied with this hotel!

Breakfast starts from 07:30 to 10:00. I think it's too late. Breakfast for tourists should start at 07:00 .Because tourists should not waste time for walking around. The staff do not bring additional food for empty dishes during breakfast. For example, we came for breakfast at 09:40 in the morning,there is no cheese,until us guests ate all the cheese and we say please bring for us cheese, they say, we bring it well. As a result, they either don't bring it or bring it late. I think the dishes should be filled with food until the last minute when eating!

I was traveling with my sister and my niece who is 8. We booked a triple room but on arrival, we were surprised with the free room upgrade, which happened to be the room with a double balcony overlooking the Rialto bridge and canal. It is impossible to describe our emotions with words, it was the best gift and the best experience we could have only imagined. If we could put 100 instead of 10 we totally would. The hotel, the staff, the location, breakfast, literally everything was more than perfect. We recommend it and will return. Thank you for making our stay in Venice unforgettable.

The location was phenomenal as we were close to many attractions. The breakfast was impeccable. A perfect balance between an Italian breakfast of pastries/sweets and cold cuts, and a western breakfast of eggs, bacon, beans and sausage.

The rooms were a bit old and small. The alley where our windows exited were quite loud throughout the night.

Perfectly located in the heart of Venice, quiet, clean, elegant hotel with friendly service.

Warning! No elevator. Difficulties for elderly and disabled! Breakfast varied, but cold cuts sometimes seems to be not very fresh.
