I stayed in the small, single room. Excellent location, close to lively area with many restaurants, but the hotel itself was nice and quiet. Small onsen but well equipped. The popsicles and other free snacks were a nice add on.

The hotel had many perks and services such as onsen, ice cream, ramen, laundry etc. It was easy to access JR, metro and Keisei Skyliner trains. There were heaps of restaurants and shops all around.

Only one lift for all guests and staff. This made it very tricky during peak periods.

Free soba, ice cream, drinks were provided. Onsen at top floor. Love the room concept. With a walkway so can leave luggage at the walkway and room is spacious for 1 pax. Location is near to Ueno and Ameyoko. Easy to get to Keisei Liner for Narita airport

Location: Well situated near many stations making it convenient to travel around Tokyo City. Most important, about a 7mins walk to the SkyLiner Train to Narita Airport; It is also near the Zoo and Park which one should take some time to visit Shopping and Restaurants: Step out of the hotel and you can already start shopping and eating your way around Ueno Hotel Room: It is small but for a week's stay, it is sufficient since we didn't spend too much time in the room Pluses (+): Onsen, free Ramen during the late evenings, free non-alcoholic drinks in the evening; Yummy breakfast (Paid)

Very close to Ueno station, and located right at Ameyoko Market with plenty of food choices and shopping! Staff are all friendly. Easy process from booking, check in to check out. Love the free ice cream, Yakult, ramen and manga library facilities there.

Room is a little small but kind of expected to be like that. If the bath can be opened in diff or longer hours instead of 3pm-10pm would be better as we were mostly out during that time, by the time we got back to the hotel it's past 10pm so we didn't get a chance to utilise that.

Convenient Location just a few minutes away from Okachimachi Station - had no problem getting our suitcases to the hotel even though my brother had injured his foot slightly! The rooms were pleasant and also quiet with no noise heard from neighbouring rooms. The top-floor Sento was slightly small (but it's a small hotel), and the ambience particularly the small outdoor bath was lovely.

A very tiny criticism was that there was only 1 lift servicing all 12 floors so sometimes there is a slight wait - but not unbearable!

thoughtful facilities like a free laundry and little welcome snacks in our fridge. super close to everything, including train lines, beautiful ueno park, and the lively okachimachi market with shopping and food. super friendly staff who thankfully spoke english when my toddler-level japanese failed me. and the semi-traditional breakfast was delicious and perfect for starting your day of exploration. i'd recommend it to anyone!

for two large midwesterners, our basic double room was just a teeny bit small, but we anticipated that! it definitely wouldn't prevent us from staying again.

Location is very good, close to Keisei Station to Narita airport. Lot of local restaurants and shopping places.

Tattoo person can’t use public bath but I understand the hotel policy.

We booked 2 rooms: one for 4 nights, one for 2 nights. The hotel location is excellent for visitors. It's easy to get around to the places. Hotel also provides laundry machines. Washer is free, dryer is not free but with a small amount fee. There is a FamilyMart downstairs. Breakfast was excellent! There were so many choices, exceeded expectations! Every night's ramen was tasty and it's free! Hot Spring was also great (free for all guests) I love the settings! There is a relaxation room for Hot Spring. The room fills of manga books, different flavors of popsicles and ice creams (free), and a vending machine for other things (not free) you like.

I was happy with the stay for 4 nights. The room was clean, and bed was comfortable. The only thing I would wish is that some space for suitcase, or a bit more storage space.

Very decent for the price, clean. Even though there’s no daily cleaning, they left clean towels for us outside the room everyday. Convenient to get to multiple different lines. Would totally stay again. Did not try the public baths though.

I think the walls maybe abit thin, we could hear someone coughing 2 rooms away. Thankfully our floor was rather quiet even though we stayed near the lift and most people had to walk past our room
