Very new and modern upper floor hotel. Great location and views. Excellent lighting, internet, USB outlets, high quality quality furnishings and design. Good location for historic Georgetown sightseeing and dining. Nice little gym and pool, very attractive lobby and dining area. We stayed in a one BR suite on the 19th floor.

A bit noisy from the street level discotheque during Ramadan. Immediate hotel area not too interesting but easy to get Grab transport.

2nd visit n stil encounter rude customer service fr this hotel. The customer service were terrible. Really need to improve on manners. The staff who were at the front desk when checking out was really rude. I ask for an envelope for the tax invoice and she gave me an unpleasant look, no ‘thank you’ nor any goodbye n just put the envelope with a sour face. With working attitute like this she is nt qualified to be in this field. Photo attached of the rude staff

The beds, linen and pillow here are the best quality i have experienced in recent years.. wonderful pool , no bar- but thats ok, gym has Technogym equipment- and is actually air conditioned (unlike 1/3) hotels. Linen - room service very good Room service - food was very good and they also collected the plate outside within 1 hour(super impressed& very good ) - Ozo was very good. Thank you for hosting our team - again this year from Australia.

On 2nd day, my card locked me out - although I had extended to a 3rd - required reseting (bit of an inconvenience). There was no international telephone line, x tried twice to get the reception to authorise / unlock access - but unable to contact my bank (overseas).

Honestly, really pleased with the stay - the water pressure was excellent, and the mattress and bedspread was very comfortable as well. There was a nice little view as well overlooking the city and a little bit of the ocean in the horizon. I thought that the staff were friendly, and it was overall really comfortable. Plus, it was located in a convenient spot where everything was walkable.

There are no particular complaints, honestly - the staff were friendly and attentive, and the cleaning service definitely came in and tidied everything up as well.

EVERYTHING. Staff, breakfast, room size, cleanliness, location. We liked it so much we decided to stay an extra 3 nights instead of staying up the coast further. When the hotel's GM is friendly enough to come and engage you in conversation and point out sights from their 21st floor restaurant windows ( magic view ) then this attitude flows to his staff who were all friendly and very helpful. Easy to get Grab to anywhere around Georgetown, only 6 minutes to the ferry. NOT at rush hour though. We could easily walk anywhere in the old town area ( we are retired age ) and we did. The location is in the old town area and is perfectly safe to walk around at night as we went to some excellent restaurants like Kenny Hills Bakery Restaurant ( great, had lunch then went back for dinner ) Eastern & Orient Hotel for their Sunday roast and Afternoon Tea. These places are easy to walk too from the OZO Hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

NOTHING AT ALL TO COMPLAIN ABOUT.

Very lovely room, quiet and clean. Bathrooms same, well cleaned, hot relaxing water. Extremely nice lady at the reception. Location is just great - walking distance to everything in George town, including nice restaurants. We really enjoyed the place! Warning for everyone - if you (like us) noticed the Massage center right in front of the hotel - don't go there! Horrible place with unprofessional massage ladies and disgusting smelly massage rooms.

They have a reception on 20th floor, which is fine for check in, but when you are in a rush to get to the airport, it's not really okey to get to 20th floor first and then down when elevators are quite slow and busy. It will be better to allow people to leave the keys down at the security desk, there is no mini bar to check the rooms before departure. Breakfast is average and starting to be annoying on 3rd day.

The rooms were fantastic!!! We had a twin. It was beautifully decorated. Great linens too. Super clean. Housekeeping came in daily. Everything you need in a hotel room. Pool was lovely!! Staff very lovely and kind and always willing to help.

The location of the Hotel is in a very run down area and theres not much to do. Lack of restaurants nearby. The pool area needs more loungers and chairs, It got crowded on occasion and people had to sit on the floor. Breakfast was poor, very stingy and low quality. Orange juice was watered down. Everything was miniature portions. We paid for breakfast on the first day and then didn’t bother with the 2nd day as wasnt worth the 27RM each.

Room deco, firm comfortable beds, fluffy good pillows. The room smells clean and brightly lit. The shower was excellent.

Hotel food not value for money. Very very small portion. Almost all food not available. The peach tea was tasteless. Not enough varieties in the menu.

Value for money. Clean. Nice swimming pool.

The wifi was unstable. Bed was too soft for my liking.

We had lovely stay in OZO. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast. 1. All the kitchen staffs, Chef Aaron and Suman, both booked all the clients well, including us, they are very concerned to make the clients feeling comfortable. They are proud of what they do, and they were very pleased when we expressed our happiness with their work. 2. Everyone in the service team, (sorry, I only got two names, Zul and Sevajul, but I'm sure that it's not difficult for you to find out other staffs' name for the two mornings when we were there.) are all working so hard, as soon as we finished a course, they will quickly came to picking up our used plates, etc, and they were so gentle and we can tell they were trying not to disturb us. When they saw someone dropped some food on the floor, they quickly came to clean it. 3. The food is so lovely. We were born in China, but living in UK for nearly 49 years, we could find the best food suitable for both east and west. 4. The environment, the layout of the kitchen, is very logical, and we don't need to walk far away, and it gave us a kind of home feeling. 5. The interaction between the team members are very friendly. They are very kind, polite and professional, which is not a easy balance to keep, but they did it perfectly! 6. You must have a very good manager. One morning, I noticed a tall gentleman in a suite, came to talk to the service staffs, touching and moving the coffee machine. It seems he's doing some quality control of something. 7. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our room a lot. All the staffs hard work, actually representing the hotel and the country, at the end of the day, clients would just remember OZO is a lovely hotel, and Panang is a lovely city, Malaysia is a lovely country.
