The room was very clean. The Room service was great,they changed every day the sheets. Location was good. AC worked well. Receptionists were helpful.

The corridor was dirty. The carpets were old. The iron wasn't working well. Apart from that everything was good.

Location is superb. Very close to bus route, including the free CAT Penang bus which goes in a loop where you can hop on and off at any stop. Close to numerous local restaurants and Youtube food places and outdoor markets, and 10 to 15 minute walk to large shopping malls and supermarkets. This is a budget hotel, and the hallways could use some vacuuming, but the private bathroom was great (good shower which rinses the bathroom at the same time), the bed was comfortable enough (mattress on the firmer side), and the AC worked great (takes maybe 10-15 minutes to cool down the room). The lower floors are probably cooler than the upper floors, I stayed on a lower floor.

Overall great location n it's value for money

Stayed in room 311 n not satisfied due to aircond not cold even set temperature at 16° The main issue is water frm bathroom leak out frm side n entire area near washing basin n cupboard area water clogged like a pond hope the management will look into this seriously cos I'm a regular customer stay over at grand fc n this my second encounter with same issue Tq

The room is clean and spacious. The staff at the counter is helpful and for a small hotel, it has a machine to do self checkin and checkout. There were 4 hanger clip on the stand but we only have 3 wooden hanger. I ask the staff for an extra wooden hanger. But there isn't one available and the staff hand me a stack of plastic hangers instead. Location is good and close to free CAT bus. We don't know about that until the second day.

There is a big CNY celebration in Penang and we ask the staff for more information on where is the celebration but he was not able to help. Will be great if this type of information can be provided to tourists.

Staff was friendly, it was clean, laundry place next door.

The bed was awful. Its 2 twins together so someone's going to end up falling into the gap. The beds were also very uncomfortable. The ironing board is terrible. They can invest a few ringgit and get a new padded cover for the ironing table. It leaves ur clothes with odd marks because of the metal poking thru

Good location and a very short walking to train station and shopping mall.

The air conditioner has not been cleaned for long time and the air filters were blocked by dust and others. It should be cleaned at least once per year otherwise even it’s turned into 16C the room temperature will be higher. I had to clean the filter by myself because the room was too hot.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Automated check-in and check-out system. Water dispenser with hot and cold water provided. Room was clean and comfortable. Very central location, surrounded by food places and shops.

No soap provided for the handwashing sink (have to use the soap dispenser in the bathroom). TV remote didn't work. Bathroom smelled like smoke and mould at times. Can hear noise from other guests.

it was impossible to open the window, rooms are of different size.I got a very small room - 204, I saw 202 eg, it was much bigger -same description -superior twin room, a small fridge would be handy

There were nice eateries nearby and it is about 15mins away from Komtar. It was nice to have private parking spots within hotel premise though limited (especially at night). Looking for parking spots in Penang downtown is horrendous, thus it was nice to be able to walk to nearby attractions. Room is clean, bed is comfy, water is hot and pressure is good. All basic needs were met.

It'd be nice if hotel could provide hair dryer.

We love the location of the hotel. It is within walking distance from the Kimberly Food Street and Penang Street Art area.

Maybe it was the pictures that I saw on your website, the room is significantly smaller than I thought. The toilet is also much smaller though functional. The TV do not have much channels. You can boil water in room too.
