The location is great. Simple hotel but comfortable . Water and AC are good. The room is fine if out sightseeing or sleeping. I did not have windows but booked knowing that. Was very clean with good linen.

The noise from other guests. Sound insulation was not great, but the problem was that other guests constantly talked in the corridor and opened doors loudly, rang each others room, etc.late into night. Was Saturday night, so suspect quieter other nights. I did fund a little dark for reading as only one light in the room, but otherwise, fine

The location was excellent as we could walk to most keys sites, plus we were very close to the CAT bus (free for tourists: check out the travel route) and local bus to reach sites such as Penang Hill and Batu Ferringhi beach (for lunch). There was a 24 hour laundry service just around the corner, and plenty of food and drink options nearby. It took as about 10’ by foot to Chinatown. The great thing about the area is you’ll be completely surprised by the history and architecture simply by walking around. The receptionist (Brijesh) was beyond helpful with all our queries (hotel and tourism). We were allowed to store our luggage after we had checked out. A very pleasant atmosphere and friendly team in general. Highly recommended for a great experience in the amazing Georgetown!! The hotel does not use plastic bottles so we found a glass bottle available in the room. In the hallway was a water (hot and cold) machine for use.

We had read a few comments previous to booking about most rooms not having windows. To be honest, if it’s only a short stay, you are most likely be out and about most of the day. It was not a big issue for us as a couple.

In genereal everything was okay, the stuff was very nice and helpfull, room was qiute dealable for the price.

The only and big probmel about this place are mosques and their singing every morning at 6 am and every 3-4 hours later untill 9 pm. They are extremly colse to the windiows of hotel and since windows are not provided with good sound isolation it was big issue cause i cant sleep normal and was forced to wake up every morning at 6 and 9 even if i didnt want to.

New renovation hotel. Comfy to stay. Clean toilet. Staff so great and helpfull.

The hotel is situated in a very convenient location. Tourist attractions can be visited on foot from the hotel. It is also nearby bus stops if you wish to visit other sites in Penang. You can find almost everything you need around the area. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

It happened that there was a construction adjacent to the hotel during my stay. It was loud in the morning but by the time I arrived in the evening, everything was back to normal.

A true three star hotel experience. Clean everything, very friendly and helpful staff. From the hotel, the old city centre was within 15 minutes walking distance. We asked for a room with a window, and were fortunate enough that there was still one available. 24hour reception & fast check in/out. Free cold/hot mineral water right on our floor.

No fridge, although this was not expected. No view from the window, but this was also not expected.

The mosque is VERY loud (it’s like the speaker is in the room with you) but I knew this before I booked and knew it wouldn’t bother me too much. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper! I also got bitten more in this hotel than I have in my whole trip. I think a mosquito just got stuck on my bedding though.

Small refurbished hotel. Very clean . Comes with Smart TV. Unique elevator. lots of food available nearby.

However not so sound proof as we can hear people talking and doors closing really loud. Lack of basic supply like shower cap, toothbrush, Beverage is also not supplied, No kettle in room, to get hot water at corridor but water dispenser was not working.

The hotel is located in the centre for night life with pubs nearby. There are few local restaurants with reasonable pricing. This hotel was basically new and cleaned with basic amenities for travellers that are budget conscious. The staffs are friendly and from my understanding they are planning to open a restaurant in the hotel itself, that would be a plus point for travellers.
