Hotel Almas is a good budget stay in a central location close to everything. The hotel has open buffet options, friendly staff, a rooftop pool with a view, 24/7 reception and provides bathroom toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel.

Hotel Almas is great, but do not expert luxury, the rooms are outdated, the hot breakfast options lack a bit of variety, and there are no kettle tea/coffee facilities in the room. These things did not ruin our perfect stay, but its good to know them when packing for the trip.

The staff are excellent friendly and competent. They dealt with a few minor issues very quickly. Breakfast is buffet style and very generous lots of choice. Location off main road with grocery / food shop, money exchange, and restaurants only steps away. Doorman/ security person will get a taxi very quickly..

There is some sort of evangelical Christian church just along from the hotel. They make an enormous racket of noise some afternoons and evenings. This is not in the remit of the hotel to control this. If you have a room with a balcony at the back the noise can be very annoying and drowns out everything. Pillows are very firm!

Very spacious room, very clean except the bed and pillows sheets, extremely kind and helpful stuff. The breakfast was nice.

The room was not new, I think it needs a renovation but the most important thing was the bed and pillows sheets were not really clean, there were some stains and I think they were not changed after previous visits.

Staff are very good and helpful. Lift works well breakfast excellent lots of choice and long serving period. Good restaurants nearby. Off the main thoroughfare so not much traffic noise. Very clean.

Pillows are very hard. Lots of noise from a Christian church just down the road. Very annoying chanting shouting and what I suppose is singing. No need for it to be this loud. Spoils quiet afternoon on balcony and evenings. I appreciate this is not a hotel problem.

The Location was great. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is functional and clean, but areas are becoming quite tired looking. Will require some investment soon. Our room was spacious, but TV was a let down. Minimal channels were working and only the news was in English some of the time. Bathroom / shower will need redoing soon. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was continental. Location was great . It is in the New Town near all the modern shops, restaurant and bars and Railway Station but a nice leisurely walk, approx 20/ 25 to the main square, Jemaa eL Fnaa with the hustle and bustle of a very busy Medina. If you are on a budget this hotel is ideal.

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, clean rooms.

Showers could do with a bit of an upgrade. There were no irons or tea and coffee making facilities available in the room. Although there were a couple of laundrette with a minute or two of a walking distance to take care of the ironing at around 70 pence per item which was pretty good value.

You should have some omelette in you breakfast menu I had 4 breakfast from your hotel never have any omelette and your shower water not draining fast so if possible go and check your shower draining things and fixed it. Rather than that everything is fantastic

Location is very good and handy. Everything in available nearby, mosque, McDonald’s, money exchange, pharmacy, laundry and local food shops. Room was very clean n comfortable. Housekeeping services were very good i was very happy with them.

Food there food is not good not even breakfast. Stuff is helpful but they only provide boiled eggs as eggs and mostly they have sweet items. For lunch or all day ment was so disgusting u can have just orange juice. Most salads r not available n chicken sandwich is horrible i could even see that only boil chicken with no seasoning 🤮. Hot drinks are not even hot .

Well Firstly the staff here are really good. Friendly and helpful From front of desk to Breakfast crew. Initially when we arrived we were given the suite at no extra cost as hotel was fully booked.(Speaks volumes). After a nice night sleep we went down for breakfast. This is excellent for the price range. We were transferred to our new room. Which in my opinion was better than the suite. Nice balcony too. Lovely stay, Air con was excellent and well needed as it was in the 40s for our entire stay. I left my phone in the room when we checked out to go Agadir. I contacted reception and they confirmed they had found my phone and I could pick it up which was a priceless honest thing to do. Phones hold everything these days. So Hotel Almas is a phenomenal hotel in my opinion and would definitely stay here again if ever in Marrakech. A little Gem in the heart of Marrakech. Central to everything.

Swimming pool is a tad on the tiny side. and far too busy but I can live with that.

From the check in to the check out the staff were lovely. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the airport with a taxi and a 35/40 minute walk to Jemaa el-Fna. Our room (408) was big enough for 5 nights and the bed is massive! Everything was clean and this room has a balcony as well, which is nice to sit on in the morning or late afternoon. There is a fridge in the room, which is very helpful to keep bottled water and other drinks in. The shower is large, but the shower head is non adjustable. Breakfast is great with a mixture of continental and local foods. The Moroccan pancakes (msemen) are lovely with some honey on them. I’d definitely recommend this hotel when you’re coming to Marrakech!

The mattress was a little too hard for me, but it didn’t bother my husband. There are no coffee making facilities in the room (but we knew this when we booked, so I can’t fault the hotel for this). The shower head is non-adjustable, which could be slightly annoying.
