Great location, lots of space in the upstairs and downstairs rooms for storage and to be able to move around. TV upstairs and a TV downstairs. Well stocked kichen facilities. Heat pump delivered in the Taranaki winter! Beds so comfortable - on the softer side rather than the firm which suits us great. Double curtains to keep out the streetlights

It's getting a little worn out around the edges, bathroom fittings, wall finishes for example. The bath had a lot of missing covers that go over the screws on the floor so we didn't give our young fella a bath in case he hurt his bottom on the many exposed screw heads. All in all, small issues that are outweighed by the good things

We had a fantastic stay! $20 extra charge for checking-in an hour earlier??... but none the less :( The accommodation was ideal for a family, with a convenient layout: a single bed in the downstairs living area and both a double and a single bed upstairs. The kitchen, while compact, had everything we needed and was easy to work in. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of everything and within walking distance to most attractions. There are plenty of great eateries nearby, and having a BP petrol station just around the corner was super handy for a quick coffee or fuel-up before heading out. A special shout-out to the staff, who were incredibly responsive and helpful when we had a minor issue—they handled it quickly and professionally. We’ll definitely be back.

The rate is affordable for the size of the room. Large living room and the bedrooms were spacious. Location is perfect as it’s near to restaurants and supermarkets. There’s a dedicated parking for every guests. Lastly, staff is great - shoutout to Sydney for going beyond her responsibility! My daughter left her bunny toy and Sydney arranged a delivery. We will definitely book again if we have a chance to be in Taranaki again. I think the only thing to point out is the lack of exhaust in the kitchen but that’s not a deal breaker. 🙂 Cheers!

Room was great and all we needed. Staff and housekeeping were friendly and did an excellent job. bed comfortable. Easy access to our car to unpack and go places and free parking. Great location to the city and attractions. loved having Sky TV and kitchenette provided all we needed for easy meals, drinks etc.

The AA Office next door had hedge trimmers arrive at 6.30am and were mowing right outside the shower window as we showered - bit unnerving

Location, spacious apartment, love the upstairs and downstairs. Comfy couch, all you need to have a lovely stay in your beautiful city.

Don't try and check in early, you will be asked to pay extra, I kinda get it but also when we are told our room was ready, but we had to pay an extra $20 to check in just on 1pm, I thought that was a bit rough. Does it all have to be about money? When the room was clearly ready?

Staff were friendly and we were able to check in early which was so great. Beds were comfy and the room was spacious and had everything we needed. Heat pump kept us cool on a hot Taranaki day. Our kids have said their favourite part about the trip was the accommodation. We would absolutely recommend it and stay here again.

The room (room 1) was spotless, spacious and comfortable. Included a kitchenette, with a table and 2 chairs and also 2 comfortable padded chairs. A big window provided plenty of natural light. The bathroom was roomy and modern and had a large spa bath with a shower overhead. The spa bath was a delightful surprise and worked a treat. However, I discovered that 4 palms worth of shower gel creates way too much foam, so beware! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the premises peaceful and easy to drive into.

Everything was lovely. It would be nice to have some spa bath gels available? Then perhaps I wouldn't have spent ages scooping out foam LOL

Second stay at this place and it is always tidy well presented and sound proof which is great when you have little kids that like to be loud like mine at times haha.

My only issue with both stays is a bit stupid, I dislike the door handles for the bathroom. They are sharp on the end and because of that and the height the handle sits, both times I’ve seriously bruised my arm on the handles.

I love pure much everything was amazing

It's not like I don't like or their fault is just the weather was super hot 32 and the air on the floor was amazing but the two fans in the upstairs room wasn't ery good. The ceiling fan not very efficient but the portable fan good but We sleep 3 people in there and just one could have the fan. My only suggestion would be one portable fan more or 2 more for upstairs in the summer. Aside from that was perfect and wasn't their fault really....just an extremely hot day.

This is the third time we have stayed at Brougham Heights and we stay here because of the friendly staff, the room cleanliness, the safe parking and the location. It is easy to find and is conveniently located close to good restaurants, supermarkets and town. We stayed in a different room this time but enjoyed it just the same. We will probably stay again if we ever need to be in New Plymouth again.

The pillows are a little flat and we couldn't find a spare blanket in the room, however this is an easy fix and i just had to go to reception and grab another one so no big deal. The only other thing is there were no jets on the spa bath in this particular room we stayed in, all other rooms we have stayed in have had this feature in the spa.
