Excellent location, directly across from the mall. The staff were warm and welcoming, and while the amenities were simple, they matched the affordable nightly rate. A heater and fan were thoughtfully provided. We stayed for two nights, and during that time, the rubbish was cleared and fresh towels were replaced while we were out—a nice touch

Our room had been renovated, though some signs of wear and tear were still noticeable. The lighting was bright white, with no softer or ambient options available. The shower had only a small lip to contain water, which often left the bathroom floor wet after use. The outdoor lights stayed on until around 11:45 p.m., and since the curtains weren’t blackout, a fair bit of light came through, making it a bit tricky to fall asleep. The room also felt a little cramped due to excess furniture, and the bedding was minimal, with just one pillow provided per person

Had a room at the second level and it was perfect to meet my needs. It’s clean, compact and has a mini fridge, kettle, plates and utensils. Fresh milk in the fridge every day too. Kudos to the receptionist who is so helpful and friendly - she loan me an umbrella bcos it keep raining, do my laundry and offer me many tips about Rotorua and Hamilton (which I’m heading next). She was also super responsive and reply to messages quickly!

Suggest to change room fragrance; it smells too artificial but nothing that airing out the room can’t solve. An induction cooker / stove to cook some light meals will be great too. Prices were slightly high as I was staying over Easter weekend.

Good budget motel. Everything was as expected for the price. The room smells clean. We stay for 2 nights and they touch up the room after the first night. Shower is good. Bed is comfortable. We stayed in a room upstairs in a Tue/Wed night, and we didn’t hear 1 single noise coming from outside, even when the motel seemed full. Staff is very friendly.

Nothing to complain. The overall looking is a bit simple, but more than good for its price.

We arrived very late had organisex late check in. We had travelled from the Far North and we were tired and cold. Upon opening our room door, we felt instant warmth. (Our hosts whom we actually never met as we left every day early and arrived back late) had turned the heater on and pulled the drapes closed. So very thoughtful.

Needed a couple more pillows. There were only 2 flats pillows and so we had to also use the decorative bed cushions. Everything else was great.

We were able to check-in after hours, value is good for the location, and the host was good about responding to requests through chat. I appreciated the desk space, kitchenette with basics, and fan. Conveniently located and cleaned daily!

Not much to say here! We stayed in a budget double room and found the washroom to be on the smaller side.

We stayed in the motel overnight, the staff is very friendly and helpful. As we check in early, she gave us lots of useful information including some tips to go to see attraction. The motel is just opposite to the central shopping mall, and it is close to many attraction. The room is comfortable and clean, we really thanks to the staff that makes our stay more easy and comfortable.

The location was great - very close to mall and central. The room was clean and smelt fresh and the Reception person was very friendly. We were surprised to return on the first day and see our dishes had been cleaned for us. As a budget property we did not have high expectations and felt the place was value for money.

Good location and value for money. We only stay 1 night before heading to Hobitton and Auckland. The last at the reception was very helpful.

The property is abit old, i don’t really like the toilet in myroom but other than that everything is ok

Room was clean and with basic amenities. Housekeeper even help throw rubbish next morning even though we did not expect it as we are staying for 2 nights. Location is nearby eateries which is a plus.

Toilet absin was too small. Water splahes on floor when washing/brushing which is bit uncomfortable. No exhaust fan in toilet/bathroom.

Lovely unit. Has had an update so nice and fresh. Had everything you needed for s short stay. Comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet for the location. Close to CBD and not far away from most attractions if you have transport or there is a good public transport system in Rotorua.

Would have been nice to have had a small hob for cooking, but what was there worked well.
