I liked the owners they're animal lovers, the position of the motel in a quiet street, the fact they're pet friendly is phenomenal and the cosy vibes is great. Out of respect for the hard work that goes into motel managing i had to leave a koha as is right for my culture. I will recommend six on union to my family and friends on these credentials alone. Everything needs an upgrade but in saying that. I have never entered a place that felt like i could just sleep comfortably. Like i said the vibe is a testament to the owners who treat everyone with care and respect. We dont need flashy things just a safe space for us and our old lady dog. I am grateful to have found a place where my dog didnt go into hyper vigilance. If she loved it and slept easy that is all that matters.

The Hotel is located in central Rotorua just a hop skip and jump away from the shopping mall. Close to all tourist amenties. My son stayed in the disabled unit and he was allowed to take his dog in there which was really good as the dog is his companion and service dog. I would recommend this hotel for any body who had a family and wants to take there pet with them. There is an extra cost of $10 for having a pet there.

The staff were lovely and very attentive - we were given new towels, new teas/coffees and new soap bars/shampoo sachets every morning. Bed was very comfortable, balcony was lovely to sit at in the sun at lunchtime, and the kitchen has good facilities with a microwave, toaster, gas hob and electric hob. Shower had good pressure. Laundry facilities on site were also a big bonus (2 dollars for a wash, and 2 dollars for the dryer). Flowers around the motel are gorgeous, and the cats were cute.

We loved the cats, but the smell of cat urine was quite strong (not in the bedrooms, but around the motel). The rooms themselves could do with a bit of updating, notably the fake tiles stuck around the sink and cheap flooring coming unstuck in the bathroom. The useful facilities made up for this though and we still enjoyed our stay.

Price - about £75 a night for a whole apartment. The owner took the trouble to show me around and explain how everything worked, which was kind. Milk and bottled water were supplied. The place was very clean and cosy. It was also comfortable, especially the bed. The sitting room had two sofas. Fresh towels and additional coffee, etc were provided on the second day. The location was good: just 15 minutes from the tourist information office, where the intercity buses stop; and a couple of minutes from a Countdown supermarket; central Rotorua is quite small, so I was not far from anything in town.

Nothing amiss. It is not the .most modern of apartments but the price reflects this.

We spent 5 nights here with our medium sized dog. Perfect for our requirements. Clean straight forward rooms, nothing too fancy, which is how we like it. Well set up for cooking if required. Spacious lounge enabled us to install our dog's crate/bed. Off street parking. Owners clearly animal lovers. Central location. Towels refreshed daily if you wish. Would stay again if travelling with an animal.

Parking was a bit tight for our front ground floor apartment but didn't affect our overall stay. Basic TV channels but no biggie.

I have stopped here quite a few times, but not for a while. The staff are lovely and welcoming, the rooms are warm and comfortable with plenty of room and you can cook a meal if needed. The bathroom is a nice size and plenty of hot water. Towels changed everyday and are always fresh and clean. Also nice and quiet with parking onsite.

There is nothing not to like, although a possible decorating spruce up would be good.

Everything was really good! 10/10 👍 While the mote l aesthetic was a little dated, it was very clean, warm (as it's winter right now), comfortable and had all the necessities. It was close in proximity to the centre of the city and best thing was dogs are allowed which is awesome. Really enjoyed the stay here.

Very clean and tidy. Super pet friendly. Located close to plenty of shopping including food options all in walking distance. Parking right outside room. Nice bottle of water and fresh milk included too. Good value for money. Good sized room too. No air con but had fan and heater options. Staff were friendly too.

Was bit dated but price reflected that and was clean and tidy.

The room was always warm and had lots of facilities. Very cozy and comfortable for what we needed. Also the internet was a decent speed for video streaming.

The outside light would be sensor triggered at random times of the night, and there is a slight hum from the fridge or some other device, but was not a huge problem.
