Enjoyed our stay always cosy when we got back from the league grounds.

That there was no dish cloth or teatowel to clean the bench off and dry our cups so used the flannels and hand towels. Also didn't realise there were no cutlery or plates so walked down to Woolworth to grab some paper plates and bamboo knives, forks, spoons. Otherwise we did enjoy our stay.

Clean, comfortable, the oil heater warmed the room nicely, location, price

Shower pressure was poor and went hot and cold unpredictably. Emailed asking if a reception staff member could heat up some dinner for me, reply was yes, then when asked reception they said no not outside of reception hours (7pm-8am). Dinner and breakfast was 8pm and 6am. The phone to check in was switched to answer phone at 7pm which was unsettling for checkin also. Had to hit 1 for emergency (when it wasn’t )

The room was spacious and comfortable (including the beds)

The fire alarm (it went off three times in two days). In fairness this was the first time it happened at the hotel and were all false alarms. The duty managers were very organised and got technicians in to fix the problem quickly. Our rating of the hotel did not take the fire alarms into account as it was just bad luck and an old hotel that is being modernised

Close to everything, comfortable and clean.

Parking Situation. I was allocated to park by the gate, the next day someone elses car was allocated to my park. Easy fix though, i was given another car space that someone else also took, so just parked anywhere.

Good central location. Rooms were newly renovated. Beds were comfortable. The family was happy with our 2 nights stay.

None. The property is going through renovations so some areas were closed e.g. the pool. But for sure, it will be all good in time.

Overall, the stay was definitely worth the money. The staff were very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist and provide useful information. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Need an oven in the room for heating food.

Great location, free parking, clean bathroom

Tired netting curtains, could do with a change. Additional blankets and pillows would be nice. Sound proofing not great. Could hear the other families on the same floor.

The room was nice and warm on arrival, and car park right next to the room.

Would be good if there was a small kitchenette, would be goid to have cutlery, plates and a microwave too would be a bonus.

Convenient location and tidy room

Property was undergoing renovation, none of it has impact on us and will look great when it’s done but meant we had no access to pools and restaurant was closed

We were very happy with the room, clean, comfy and spacious, accommodating staff, and great value for money

They need to sort the fire alarm system and be on a position to offer breakfast on site
