The comfort of the beds, very clean, we ate out most of the days & so much to do... the SPA was the bomb! They provided a bubble bath too & a big conditioner/shampoo & bodywash which we needed after the smelly thermal pools. Netflix was awesome & the sport channels. Cafes are close & grocery stores, PakNsave & Woolworths etc.. are walking distance...the check-in was quick&efficient, thank you for that. And the manager was alert to our needs should anyone park in our space. He was very helpful&friendly. Our stay was AWESOME 👌 the bedding was so warm!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Parking area was tight but not an issue. Maybe was just my room but alil more time taken on a decent wipe down on TV stand and television, perhaps a clean coat of paint on walls some day would be cool, rooms did smell musty but faded over the two days, perhaps check and upgrade microwave as mine was looking rusty on inside so was reluctant to reheat our food but was all goods, also our room didn't have a sink plug, I looked everywhere, but overall I really enjoyed our stay chatted to cleaning staff they were lovely. No moaning just small helpful tips. Staff at office was nice too Misho??

"We liked the good location of the Brylin Motel, which was convenient for our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and made for a warm and cozy night's sleep. We also appreciated that despite the property being a little aged, it was kept reasonably priced and, most importantly, clean. It seems like it would be a good option for families."

"What we didn't like was that the motel is a two-story property, which presented a challenge as we had my elderly mother with us, and there isn't an elevator. This made getting to our room a bit difficult for her. Additionally, the parking was quite tight, which was a minor inconvenience."

Loved the size of this room, it had a proper couch, which was very comfortable, a decent sized bed, a little dining table with a proper kitchen, less the oven of course. Bathroom was big too, had both a lovely shower and spa bath. Bed was very comfortable and although my unit was near the road it actually was not that noisy. Easy to find and walking distance to a few takeaways. The price for the room was exceptional value, I would definitely stay here again. The host too was so lovely, informative and friendly. TV was easy to work, heat pump very efficient.

Things need a little updating in a few areas, however everything else makes up for this, so all good. Oh and just one other little thing, there was no face cloth, which was a bit weird. No big deal for one night, if I had of been staying longer I would have asked for one.

Really friendly staff, well located, and the value for money is really good. I've travelled a fair bit in New Zealand, and I've grown accustomed to paying a lot, for not a lot. While Brylin motel is modest accommodation, you pay a fraction of the cost you would elsewhere. Finally it's also very quiet, despite being on the main road.

The two bedroom apartment we stayed in is long overdue for a refurbishment. Again, I'm trying not to be too critical, as it's realistically a very good value for money option. However, every facet of our apartment could do with a replacement. In particular, the freezer tray in the fridge/freezer was leaking, so we came back to a puddle of water on the first night. The walls are covered with stains/bump marks, and neither last, nor least, the kitchen elements are extremely scuffed. Relatively speaking, the bedroom/bathroom were ok. Living room sofas could do with less cheap look covers.

I really enjoyed my stay – the heating was great, the spa bath was relaxing, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was a good size and overall it was great value for money.”

The only issue was the internet connection, which cut in and out at first, but once we told the staff, they quickly fixed it, and after that, the connection was just like at home. PS: The car park spaces are a bit tight, so it's best not to bring a large ute like a Ford Ranger.”

We were a little worried when we arrived as it was an older room and facing a main road. However it was very spacious, clean, comfortable and everything worked reasonably well plus there was no traffic noise! So it was a case of "not judging the book by its cover". You also had a choice whether you wanted housekeeping, which was unusual but convenient. We were there for four nights and it suited us very well.

There was no socket in the bathroom and no ironing facilities. The kitchen area could do with some attention especially the toaster, which was not very efficient.

The 4 apartments that we booked at Brylin Motel during winter school holiday are exceptional. I have not seen a very clean and home-like accommodation in Rotorua, none like Brylin Motel. The rooms and toilets are very spacious too. Amber is friendly and amazing. She has been very helpful and accommodating to my groups' needs. She has been very kind and understanding with the hectic activities and noises of having a big group like us. Thank you Brylin Motel!!! 100% highly recommended.

I had a great two-night stay at this motel. It was really wonderful, especially the spa with a large hot tub, and the TV with YouTube and Netflix. The staff was very kind and friendly. She introduced me to the nearby attractions, and since I was alone and didn’t rent a car, she even exchanged some small changes for me to take the bus. I participated in activities at the Maori Cultural Village, and they picked me up directly from the motel. It was a wonderful holiday, and I had a great two-night stay.

I liked how easy checking in(arrived at 11:30pm)and out was. We managed to park our car right in front of out door. Room was clean and we got fresh towels everytime we put the housekeeping sign up.

I didn't like that during our stay we didn't get a bedsheets change for the 5 nights we spent there. I guess it is a motel so maybe it's just not part of the service. The apartment and the bedding was clean tho.
