Covered all the basics except for a proper fourth single bed. Balcony was a cute touch. Great pillows, adequate toiletries and great mattress on the double bed and one single bed.

The first greeting..the receptionist/owner expressed huge regret and was making personal remarks like “we thought it’s for 4 adults and oh my you have two boys is it possible they do t make a noise as the structure is wooden and the people downstairs will get disturbed. Point to note: we only booked ONE night! Secondly the double bed and single bed was fine but the 4th bed was actually a portable cheap one and charging $165 per night and then giving that as a 4th bed even for an adult is atrocious! But apart from these two things everything else was good.

The layout. The outlook. The balcony. The open wardrobe was excellent with a big shelf for our cases. The helpful staff who attended to things immediately. Very convenient entry from our car. It felt homely ♡

The stools were hard sitting on. The single bed needed a bedside table. We're finding everywhere we stay, there's no where to put your clothes in the bathroom . There could be a towel rail along the wall and a hand towel hanger beside the basin. The mat inside the door kept getting bucked up and jammed when opening the door. It would be helpful to have some maps and brochures in the reception.

We arrived late at night due to massive delays at Sydney airport. The key was exactly where we were told it would be. The bed was super comfy, My husband LOVED the shower! The location was on the main street, so it was close to town. It served as an excellent base to explore Rotorua. The room was surprisingly snug & warm considering the only heat source was an oil heater - in fact we ended up turning it off after a short while. We didn't use the internet very much, but when we did use it, it worked very well. The kitchen was equipped enough to cook simple meals. It served us well and for what we got, it was value for money. The welcome email from the owner/manager had some suggestions for restaurants etc.

The tap-ware was in a pretty poor state. We didn't use the spa bath so we don't know if it worked or not. The bathroom had a frosted glass window - but no other covering.

We travelled from Auckland, my family of 5 stayed in the guest house. It had everything we needed, it was cute, beds were comfy, rooms were bigger than expected, house is unquie, property felt secure and safe and the staff were accommodating and friendly. You have heaters in each room, with electric blankets on every bed, really dose make a difference for those more chilly nights. The price for our stay was fair, and the cheapest at the time of booking by a few hundred dollars, value for money indeed!. It was close to all the activities we did, all your major shops, just a great hidden gem in my opinion. This property ticked all the boxes for my lot, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Pure motel, we will be back to visit again.

The location is great, just about 5 minutes drive to the CBD, and also very close to the Maori cultural centers. The size of the apartment was good and the beds were decent. The unit had all the necessary utensils and appliances to prepare home cooked meals. The balcony was an added bonus.

The bathroom was a bit smaller and the beds were also on the smaller side. Unfortunately, there was not much natural light. The walls are bit thinner, so you can pretty much hear everything from the room next door. The reception was not attended by anyone most of the time. Also, there was no change of towels, stocking of supplies or removal of garbage during our 3-day stay.

We were going to be late getting into town (around 10pm on a week night) so called ahead and the owner was incredibly lovely, said it wouldn't be a problem at all and welcomed us really fast when we got in. He gave us a suprise room upgrade to a spa room which was amazing! Great size, comfy big bed and room, electric blankets, excellent shower. Made our whole trip better, thanks so much!!

Nothing to mention. I can see why some other people might find the rooms a little chilly in winter but wasn't a problem for us and there is electric blankets and a heater.

Communication was excellent and we were Able to get a late check out. The space was perfect and because it was heavily raining and very cold we were hopeful the unit would be warm as well and it was. Very nice and cosy for our family. Plenty of nice warm blankets and a good space for family groups

The parking was a little tight in front of the unit for our van but we found a space across from our unit which was perfect

Large high top room, takes a while for room to heat up on a cold night. Then I realized the heaters dial timer was broken, so would switch off every half hour. I'd need to keep on switching it back on every 30 minutes.

It had all amenities, this particular room was close to my car park. Staff very polite and checked in to see how I liked my room. I only stayed a few hours to take a nap before heading back to Auckland

You could hear conversations happening from other rooms when I was waking up for a early morning rd trip. Shower pressure was very weak but manageable to wash. Room also needed an airing out as it was hot and humid
