Very good location, close to everything. The hot tub on the verandah was great, we used it every night.

Few unresolved maintenance issues- entrance light didn't work, electrical socket hanging off the wall, towel rack falling off the wall, top balcony door coming off the rail I had to be very careful to open / close so it wouldn't fall out- maintenance needed. I would recommend soundproofing the walls, as we could hear every noise from neighbouring rooms- running on stairs, walking in rooms, conversations, snoring, crying babies, especially during the night it was disturbing. Carpets would need cleaning/ changing. Very few kitchen utensils. Hot spa water level dirty, we had to ask to clean it up, plenty tree leaves on the deck. No available free washing facilities- needed extra pay in shared laundry- Washing machine ( NZ 4), dryer ( NZ 4), washing powder (NZ 2).

The room was perfect for us. Had everything we needed and the heated plunge pool was amazing! A little hot but there’s a hose to cool it down. The pool was a family fave, we swam every day. My kids are a bit loud so I was cautious of the couple next to us, but they never complained. Kids loved having their own space upstairs! Location was great, not far at all for everything we did.

The pull out couch to bed was a little uncomfy; I slept horizontally and it was comfy that way lol we didn’t really need it but it’s good that was an option. I read previous reviews about the wifi. It lagged a bit w the tv on our last night but it wasn’t too much of an issue. Love that there are options for apps especially for the kids!

Good location on one of the main streets, I really liked the interiors and loft like layout, getting into the pool after a long drive was very nice and kids really love it too, plunge spa pools in the room patio is a great size, very clean kitchen and bathroom, oh and not so many hotels offer salt and pepper but Wylie Lodge does:)! Beds are really comfortable, I had great rest! Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you !

while the inside the room was nicely clean, the patio where spa pool is was not perfectly clean, not even sure it had been cleaned recently as the chairs there were very dusty and there were ice cream sticks on the floor from previous guests , which shows it had not been cleaned , also outside requires better cleaning - there were some pieces of broken glass as well as cigarettes buds. Also with more rooms are being built - I wonder if the swimming pool gonna be big enough for increased guests number

The entire complex was well presented. Our room was immaculant 1 issue I do have with my room and I do believe this is a concern their cooking facilities need some sort of wall/splatter wall as it is openly accessible to kids/toddlers my stove was located right by the stairway and within a 2yrs olds arm's reach a simply protector wall so that little hands can't touch so easily very dangerous yes watch your kids at all times but the off chance it only takes a second for a child to be injured burnt etc other than that perfect stay didn't wanna leave kids were happy comfortable and I will be back here again and will recommend to family and friends.

The only thing as mentioned was the kitchen stove being very accessible to little hands. The splattering of food is easy to burn a child whilst walking past. Wish I took a photo for better explanation. Was too in awe as the place was higher than our expections.

Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, gardens well kept. Our chalet had a private parking space out front, private hot tub and small garden, but Nos: 25 (where our son stayed) had a much bigger private garden so ask for this one! The pool area was clean and well kept, the water was warm as promised, barbecue clean and easy to use - tools at reception. Staff friendly, plenty of towels for both shower and pool use and everything else you needed to be very comfortable. One issue is that the room needs net curtains for privacy, also no security safe and WiFi was a bit hit and miss, but soaking in the warm pool made up for these small omissions.

Facility wise great! There was a mishap being advised could check in an hour early with a $20 extra charge however while talking to reception, another staff member (seemingly senior/ cleaning team perhaps) rudely interrupted and said our room wasn’t ready (without knowing what room we were in - there was also another customer there and this was at 2pm) so told us to wait until 3 and that early check in wasn’t a thing (which is weird if there was a suggested price addition for it initially). With children, this wasn’t ideal (would rather have been advised no early check in instead). Reception was clearly embarrassed also and tried best to apologise for mishap (which i don’t see her being the issue anyway).

The woman who greeted us at check in was lovely, the smoothest check in we've had. The room was great, perfect for our family of 5, parents with 2 teens and a toddler. The private spa was great, we don't usually use spas because they're too hot for us but there was a hose provided to connect to the cold tap to lower the temp, which was perfect. Basic cooking facilities were perfect for our short stay. The pool was also really nice, naturally heated but a nice temperature to chill out. We appreciated the staff changing towels daily and washing up dishes. The extra blankets are such good quality too! Oh and the entertainment is so good! So impressed that they have smart TVs and have SKY. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great during our stay, I'd say the only thing that was missing was a chopping board. But obviously not a deal breaker.

The beds were so comfortable, and the units are quite roomy and big. The private spas are amazing and the heated public pool was fantastic. Loved the toddler bay next to/with the main pool my little one loved it. It was also nice and quiet. They also provided so many towels!

It would of been better had there been 2 chairs placed near the private spa, when it gets to hot it would be nice to sit there before jumping back in. The stairs in the unit were a bit dangerous for my toddler but it isn't necessary for them to go upstairs anyway. The extractor fan in the shower was quite dusty and dirty and off putting because it's right in your face when you shower. The bathroom door could also do with a clean as there's dirty fingerprints on it. The price was a bit expensive as its a little outdated, but overall, the stay was really comfortable.

Great facility. Love the spa pool in the property and the pool side area too even though there were fences for constructions but did not affect the pool side area. The staff was pleasantly considering when she let us extend in the pool area until 9pm because it was only until 8pm. My friends enjoyed and loved the whole facility considering it was my first time to book the accommodation.

There was no extra rubbish area on 2bedroom apartment. There was only in the toilet for rubbish which it was awkward to throw kitchen rubbish in the toilet.

We booked the family room with the hot plunge pool. The pool was super hot and lovely for adults but would have been too hot for kids. Kids can easily use the larger shared outdoor hot pool though. Beds were comfortable and liked the configuration of king bed downstairs with two singles upstairs. Warm with a good heat pump. Shower had great pressure and was nice and hot.

Shower was a bit mouldy around the edges. Kitchen and bathroom were very cold. Location was too far from town to walk, but an Uber was only $10.
