Maggie was outstanding so helpful both before we arrived and during our stay. Anne Marie and Mike, the owners, are certainly lucky to have her. The service really set the tone for our visit. Our car park was right outside the bedroom, which made things so convenient. The units are huge, with loads of room, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need – right down to scissors! The room was spotless, the grounds were tidy and well-spaced, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. The bed was honestly the most comfortable I have ever slept in. We loved having Sky Sport to watch the Warriors, and there were plenty of towels (not just one or two). We didn’t use them all, but it was great to have extras. The outdoor spa was a major bonus, and the whole place was beautifully warm from the moment we opened the door (such a comfort for my sick baby). It’s also so quiet and private no noise from the road, car doors, or other guests. I honestly didn’t want to leave. Capri on Fenton is everything you want in accommodation: spacious, comfortable, quiet, and run by people who genuinely care. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Excellent location. The unit was provided with ample towels, soaps, tea, coffee real milk in fridge and tv with essentially all sky channels bar 2. The host was very helpful and nothing was a problem. The shower was probably the best we have experienced in any motel.

The unit is an older type very spacious and clean although the shower fittings were tired and several light fittings were not working. As with many motel units the intertenancy walls were far from soundproof. I imagine the units will require an interior upgrade in the near future.

Spa, clean room, comfy bed.

We enjoyed our spacious and quiet room – perfect for exploring Rotorua. We particularly appreciated the convenience of the laundry facilities, allowing us to refresh after already having traveled around New Zealand for a few days. And the staff's genuine kindness and helpfulness were highlights of our stay! Non-dairy milk options would have been a thoughtful addition, but luckily, we brought our own.

After reading glowing reviews about cleanliness, we were surprised to find the toilet and sink area floors weren't thoroughly cleaned.

The motel was in a good location and easy to get to and from. The room we occupied at the rear of the complex was quiet from any street noise, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Parking was easy and the external spa was a bonus. Morgen the Magnificent (onsite manager) looked after us well and was great to deal with. Onsite laundry was useful and a laundry rack was available. Cleanliness of the room was average

What a great way to finish our North Island round trip. We weren’t expecting much, and we were very pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the property, how comfortable the beds were, the available channels on the complimentary Foxtel, and the spa! What a treat. The host was sensational, welcoming us to the property and offering high touch service during our stay. Clean, hospitable, close to central CCD, quiet with parking on site. Highly recommend. 11 stars out of 10!

That we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy all the great in room facilities!

The location was convenient, everything was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the whirlpool tub—it was a great way to relax after a long day. One of the most charming aspects was the friendly cats that stopped by to say “hi.” We miss our own pets when we travel, so it was such a fun and unexpected treat to have some furry company. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely return!

The smell of sulfur was strong at times, but nothing against the property itself.

Helpful receptionist took us to view unit and gave us info about an activity we were interested in Rotorua. Unit was spacious very happy. Happy and surprised next day to have toilet cleaned and bed made. Great service. Offered milk if we needed more usually I wouldn’t ask and yes we did need more milk. Unit was totally quiet no noise from other units or traffic. Sky tv wow all channels to view haven’t had that before. Definitely would book Capri on Fenton again.

One of the couches in the two bedroom unit is so depressed to sit on it was difficult to get up off it. We were disappointed to have a spa pool/bath it was nice but prefer a standard spa pool that we don’t have to keep refilling. I could not find a clothes horse to hang our wet togs/towels on.

Nice clean room. Fridge/Freeze combo is a rare thing these days. "Love it", As is having access to the Movie channels on Sky. Air Con (quiet) and wall mounted Heater were perfect. Needed both over the 2 days I was there. Comfy bed, Best pillows. They're usually to big and hard for my liking. Extra towels hung in the Kete was a nice touch too. LOVE that it isn't used for emergency housing. Rooms serviced daily ✅️✅️✅️

Entry to the room would benefit from a daily leaf blow or Vac, Autumn time. Although the cat seemed pleased with the kitty litter. Tap over spa leaking quite badly (was dripping hot into the wooden surrounds when I arrived). Just a washer replacement I think. The welcome note explains the reason for the spas auto shut off (noise). but I was still surprised at just how loud it was from the neighbours room. As well as general talking, laughing, and the early showering..

Room worked well for 3 adults. Parking out front was convenient and easy to get in/out. Located within easy driving distance of sights of interest, restaurants, shops. Could have walked to some of the attractions but it's along a main, pretty busy street. We did the Living Maori village tour, Thermal Wonderland, and Te Pa Tu Maori cultural experience/dinner - would highly recommend all of these while visiting Rotorua. Lakefront park area/walk also very nicely done!
