Whanau of 14 - kids aged 1 to 15 - 3 apartments, a double and triple. Rooms small but a perfect spread of kids and adults across the rooms which met all our needs. Full cooking facilities in the apartments was great. The pool was a big hit with everyone and well used and the hot tubs in the apartments were well used and definately a bonus once all the kids were tucked up for the night. Location great - quiet but central. It rained for the whole of our visit but we were still able to move between units under cover (Easter egg hunt through the rooms was epic!) and still managed to do Gondolas, Luge, Heritage Farm, Illusion Museum, Motion and Polynesian Spas. Definately hope to return.

Our hosts were so welcoming. We loved the inroom private spa with soothing jets, that was ready when we arrived, and you bet we hopped in straight away!! It is constantly heated from a thermal bore situated nearby. We spent most of our stay in it. And it wasnt so noisy. Our unit was nice and clean. Loved the pressure in the shower, and the bathroom amenities smelt sooo good. Towels were soft and clean. Spa had some gorgeous red towels (dont see those in some decent hotels/motels) Kitchenette utilities were great also, I didnt want to put this comment in the 'Didnt like' section as it doesnt relect on our great overnight stay here. And I forgot to let the host know when we checked out, that the microwave didnt heat our food after 10-20mins in there. It wasnt a big deal to us, as it was our breakfast on the day of checking out. TV's were in good working order, clear picture and easy to log into Netflix etc

This is our personal exlerience as everyone is different. The bed was a bit too firm for us BUT lucky we had the spa which sorted our backs out real quick.

The staff were lovely. Check in was easy. Parking right in front of room. The room was clean and comfortable. Looked better than photos. Spa pool in room, so good. Loved that there was a makeup towel meant specifically for removing makeup. Shampoos and body wash supplied. Towels were fluffy and there were plenty.

There was really nothing I didn’t like. Only thing to be improved on would be to re do the spa pool, like renovate it, but it was still good how it was.

The rooms were reasonably spacious and the kitchen was a full kitchen with a dishwasher. The pool area and spa pools were used extensively. The location was excellent. The staff were extremely understanding, tolerant and helpful, as we were an extended family group attending a funeral and made good use of the social areas such as the pool area

Being from Sydney we're used to ceiling fans, so maybe some ceiling fans in the bedrooms. But there were portable fans available

We liked how clean everything was and smelled fresh. I liked the easy parking right next to your room. The heated pool was great but if they had a separate little pool for younger children to paddle in would make it perfect. Staff were awesome easy to talk to makes much more pleasant environment. We also liked it's location and the street was very quiet at the time of our stay hardly any road noise. Rooms also sold concrete walls so only faintly hear other guests.

Not really anything to say because overall we were very happy with everything thing.

Room as big enough. Was warm. The in-room spa pool was amazing. Used it every day. The kitchen had everything - includng a full sized oven, a microwave and fridge. There was a TV in both rooms. Comfy recliner chairs in the lounge. It was in a central location, close to the city centre and lake. We were really happy with the stay here.

The suflur smell was a bit overwhelming. I didn't sleep the first night as I had difficulty breathing. I adapted over a couple of days and by the time we left I barely noticed it. We were there for 5 days.

Loved the service and people, nothing was a bother. We have a hybrid vehicle and could charge our vehicle, there are designated spaces for this as well. This was so great and would book here again just for that reason. The rooms had almost everything a family needed, full kitchen, comfy beds and bonus with the hot tub, I used it so many times. Having a heated pool was another extra bonus and our daughter loved it. If there was air conditioning it would've topped things off.

We visited in summer, struggled to sleep without air conditioning. A little spruce up to the rooms would be great.

Liked the overall cleanliness, and the shower having amenities was excellent as we forgot our body wash! It was great to have television in both rooms. Loved the thick quality of the carpet considering the cold winter weather, and the heaters were more than enough for heating.

There was base music coming from one or two rooms late at night. A few bamboo or firm pillows would have been great for the master.

Both the in-room hot tub and outdoor pool facilities were excellent. The outdoor pool was the exact temperature for those really hot days when cooling off was desperately needed.

There were no recliner chairs in the living room and the small air fan was noisey and did not provide much relief from the humidity. Luckily, we brought our own fan with us.

Really really helpful and nice staff. Helped with washing and providing a plug adapter which we could keep. Useful to have a kitchen but couldn’t cook much in the room. Was good for popcorn and tea and coffee (provided on arrival!) Plenty of parking.

Slightly unclear location wise as the property next door almost has almost same name and is run by same people. Had to move the car 3 times! Not really walking distance to centre of Rotorua but good breakfast place nearby. Room was cleaned during the day but not locked by staff once they were done. Returning to find the room unlocked was a little disconcerting.
