Older style motel, apparently in the process of being gradually refurbished. My room had not yet been renovated but it was absolutely immaculately clean and well presented. Very large room, huge bathroom and courtyard with spa. Convenient parking in front of room. Central location. Excellent value for money. Friendly and helpful staff, went out of their way to find an extension cord when I asked for my hairdryer. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location, just a short walk down to lake & centre, short drive to redwood forest & te puia. Not far to matai mauri village & sky walk but they are on other side of town. Room was clean & spacious (with a spa bath) & we managed to get parking in the shade which was a bonus. Manager really friendly & gave us tips on where to go/ what to see including recommending a beach reserve/lake nearby which was a really great place & could easily spend a day relaxing & swimming in the lake.

No air con, but probably shouldn’t expect it for the price we paid

That the bathroom opened against the toilet so if you were a stocky person like myself, you had to open slightly, walk in (to a certain point) and then manoeuvre the door around you before your free to sit on the toilet. Which tbf, lol does not work out if your eaten a big dinner, guts turned and your raving for the toilet.

Excellent Service and great team. Motel is very clean, quiet and great value for money. We’re always in the pass used to stay at Sudima Hotel by the lake and for first time trying something different and it’s unbelievable remarkable stay at Fenton Court Motel especially with our on private spa in back yard. When we go to Roturua from now on we’re definitely will stay at Fenton Court Motel. Highly recommended.

Very clean, quiet, friendly staff and value for the money.

The staff were polite & friendly & always very helpful. The motel room was serviced daily & towels always replaced. We had everything we needed. The pool area was nice & clean.

There was dust on the room fittings, heater that looked like it had been there for a long time. I have allergies & an asthmatic child so a dust free environment is a no1. priority. You could smell cigarettes from someone smoking in the spa pool area from another room.

Originally, we planned to stay at the motel for only one night, however, due to some unexpected circumstances, we needed to prolong our visit for a couple of additional days. We cannot express our gratitude to the manager who went above and beyond to make our stay at the motel as comfortable as possible and to help us in these circumstances. So just once again, a huge thank you for everything! In terms of the room itself, it was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Fully equipped mini kitchen with microwave, kettle, and all needed utensils. Clean bathroom with toiletries. A nice little private backyard with a hot tub and table with chairs to chill. TV with Netflix available. The motel is located within walking distance of the city centre and some shops. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Room was great and bed was comfortable.

When we booked in the kitchen light was out and hot water was turned off at about 11pm on Sat 30/3 and in the ,morning Sun 31/3 at about 8am the hot water was still off; I had to call the number on our booking for the hot water to be turned on as we need to take a shower and be ready for our meeting at Rotorua at 10:00am; A staff member came in to our room at about 8:10am to check and went away came back in about 5 mins and turned the hot water again and it was working. We have been to many hotels, motels and apartments all over NZ and overseas as well; and this is the first incident of hot water being turned off.

I enjoyed my stay the bed was comfortable the spa was exceptional all activities an amenities were close i like that the towels were taken daily an replaced with new ones would definitely recommend to others

The heater didn't work mind you our room was small enough to stay warm but it did get cold one of the nights but we jus tucked into bed

Spacious room, super clean, kitchen to cook, location is great , parking is good, comfortable beds, like most motels in the town might feel bit dated , but carpets look clean and new , and as mentioned before - very clean rooms ! We would stay again for sure

Nothing really , it’s more about not very respectful guests leaving cigarettes butts in the plants :( Wi- fi was not the best , mind it if you need it for work on your trip

Extremely happy with our stay (family with young kids), can't fault anything. Staffs were attentive and went above & beyond, check in was smooth even during public holiday, rooms were spacious, clean and very well maintained. Beds & sheets were comfortable, it had everything we need during our stay, hot water had strong pressure and not to mention great location.
