The Host & facilities were great. They were particularly helpful with finding parking for the oversize trailer we are had & doing everything they could to ensure the safety of the items we had on the trailer! WE really appreciated this & as a result would refer them to others & use them again in the future. :-)

The kitchen shower & toilet floors had been freshly upgraded - however the floor was extremely sticky & off putting. Its possible that the kind of product they use to clean the floors could be causing this? These rooms were dated but very clean & well maintained though!

Good value for money and will be back !！ Ideally located within walking distance to the Central Shopping Centre. My room is Large Studio Room. The room was very clean and tidy. Good size and the kitchen was separate from the bedroom for easy cooking. The bed was very comfortable. There were security cameras around the motel which felt safe & quiet at night. The owner of the motel was very friendly and happy to point out places to visit. Everything was exactly what I expected. I would definitely recommend this motel to everyone.

I had a fantastic stay at Kerry’s Motel in Rotorua! The location was incredibly convenient, close to all the local attractions yet peacefully quiet for a good night’s rest. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure I had a comfortable stay. What stood out the most was the attention to detail and how the team prioritized guest comfort. Whether you’re visiting Rotorua for a short trip or a longer stay, I highly recommend Kerry’s Motel for its excellent service and value for money. I’ll definitely be back!

We loved everything in the property

Location, close to everywhere (though it's just Rotorua). Off-street carpark, the size of the room is a surprise. It's a traditional NZ-style motel that you can imagine what it can be, no surprise, yet no bull. The kitchen and bathroom are a bit outdated, but clean and functioning well. If you are after handy and affordable accommodation, this is the place.

Can't ask for more considering the price. If any, it's close to a main street where young lads might talk and laugh loud in the evening. But in general, it's not bad.

Staff were very friendly. Had a sports tournament the whole weekend as it was raining they were kind enough to clean my sports uniform for day 2 for a small fee. The smell within the rooms was always good. Great amount of space for two people

Just real small personal things but I wouldn’t downgrade the place as this place was good overall. shower head could not fit into its holder. Car park is a little to small. Toilet felt a little flimsy

Great value for money for the rooms which were clean and spacious enough for a family. Both the owners Ming + Sophia are very friendly and helpful.

It's the first time we used an induction cooktop, which took a bit of figuring out. Ideally, with some instructions this would have saved us a lot of time, otherwise no issues.

Oh my giddy aunt it was SPOTLESS. It was our 4th motel and the fridge was SO clean, the room was bright, the kitchen, bathroom, loo were all spotless. There was a bit of traffic noise on a morning but nothing too bad at all. The staff were delightful, so polite.

Centrally located, reasonably priced . Very clean. Comfy bed. Shower has great water pressure and Hot. Lovely stay while visiting family and being so close to town was not that noisy. Would definitely stay again.

Sticky painted floor in kitchen

So convenient. Car sits right in front of room which makes unpacking it really easy. The rooms are very clean. Close enough to the centre but if coming to Rotorua I’d recommend hiring a car as most things are outside the town itself.

The showers were great, hot and high powered. Beds were really comfortable and facilities had everything we needed. Especially liked induction element.

The bathroom and kitchen were a little run-down but it balanced out with great showers and beds.
