I liked the location of the property, it’s so convenient specially when it’s close to the city centre. I was definitely surprised that the 2 bedroom apartment I got for my family and myself had come fully quipped kitchen, with oven and stove and a full size fridge. It was weird to have the huge window in the kitchen over looking the main road.

At first I thought it could be a abit better or look better but I realised I judged our room on looks alone. The room definitely grew on me after the first night. At the end of our stay, there wasn’t a bad thing I could say about the room my family and I had. It was fantastic.

Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. While the lodge itself is quite old and a bit shabby in appearance, the room was clean and surprisingly warm throughout the night—even when temperatures dropped below zero. That was a big plus. The towels provided were a bit worn, so I used my own, but for around $90, I got a studio room with a double bed, private bathroom, and kitchen. For that price, you really can’t expect five-star luxury, but it definitely offers good value for a budget stay.

This was an affordable choice for us. Upon arrival we were shown the accommodations 2 mineral spa pools and the outdoor pool which we didn't know they had when booking , so it was a nice surprise to have those available. The rooms also get a cleaning service everyday which again, we didn't know was available to us - The staff are all friendly. If you are not fussy about the facilities then this is a great choice , if you are fussy about the presentation of things then it's not the right one for you. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

The beds were a bit too hard for me but that's the only thing.

The room was beautiful and clean. It had everything in it we needed.

We booked the room based on the hot tub being in there. It didn't say the hot tub was unavailable. We were referred to their spa pool on site which was lukewarm. We would have booked a cheaper room if we knew the hot tub wasn't available. We were looking forward to a soak in a hot tub.

I booked 2 bedroom apartment for myself and my family. Staff was helpful, apartment was clean & tidy. We had our private space. We enjoyed living there for our stay.

There was no hot water all the time mostly. Only got hot water for an hour in the morning in whole day. I asked one of the staff about it, he said may be they run out of hot water because a lot of people are using it. They should have extra hot water tanks.

The size of the apartment was great as there were two good sized bedrooms; the location was fairly central but close enough to the Rotorua Netball Centre; and there were enough comfortable beds for all of us. Best part was the heated outdoor pool and the two hot geothermal indoor pools.

Waiting minutes for the hot water tap to run in the kitchen; the outdoor pool had no lamp to swim during the night and no towel storage to keep towels dry when it was raining; and the internet was unreliable.

A spacious, comfortablr room which was very economical and had everything I needed for an overnight stop.

Interesting how people watch Netflix or Youtube nowadays rather than live tv. The room had a smart tv and neither I nor the motel manager were able to get live tv on it. Just because Bookings.com says it has a flat-screen tv doesn't anymore mean you can actually watch television.

All the service was very good.

The room was large, and it featured a full kitchen with a full-size electric stove, oven, and four elements. The location was close to the city and ideal for us. Beds were comfortable. Heating was excellent, and it is the best I have ever seen in cold winter, 10/10.

Just wi-fi could have been faster, but I was told the management is looking into it.

Location, easy to get to

The whole place is quite run down, tap dripping in kitchen, kitchen drawer sticking, cockroaches running free, kitchen taps operate backwards, hot water takes AGES to get through, no servicing of the rooms , lock on front door very flimsy and no secondary lock. Very easy to brake into and no chain on the door.
