The clean crisp tidiness of the property. The owner really thought about the clientele that visit Rotorua. I especially liked the playground. My unit I thoroughly enjoyed. I’m going to take my mum there next year. The above dates, i unfortunately booked them incorrectly. I thought they were the dates for Labour Weekend. However, I was lucky to book for one night, 27-28 October, 2024 due to vacancies available.

I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated staying overnight, because it’s a time out of the Far North, to watch and catch up with my son, who has lived in Australia for the past 18 years. I couldn’t fault the proprietor, who walked me and my husband through the unit showing and explaining about the extra kaupapa of Fairy Spring Motel.

Located right next to the Skyline (or the kids liked to call it The Luge), the view is magnificent! It was extremely quiet at night and rooms were totally blocked out from street lights, we had a good sleep. Everything is well maintained and clean although the rooms are a little dated. The very friendly owners definitely looking after their property well. Highly recommended!

I liked everything about it.The manager and his wife were very cooperative. We had lots of luggage after checking out and were worried about keeping it since our van to Auckland was to arrive later but he helped us to keep everything in a safe place. Location is ideal for tourists not having a vehicle as three attractions are at walking distance namely Mitai Maori, 3D Art and the Skyline. Places to eat like McDonald's, Kebab, Wendy's, Burger King are at a 20 minutes walking distance.

Great spot for the kids to play outside the rooms. Room has what you need. It’s not luxurious but it’s perfect to rest in after exploring all day. The staff were lovely. Crazy close to so many activities and town. Luge is right next door!

The bed was a little hard (for me) but the other person staying with me said their bed was perfect so each to their own!

The location was very central to where I needed to be, the room was clean and warm. The bed was comfortable, the traffic noise from the road was minimal.

The only thing was that the place looked like it could do with a bit of a spruce up. A water blasting and paint job plus new carpets would make a big difference to the look of the place.

Location was fantastic for Crankworx. Manager kept in contact for check in as we were arriving late. Parking right outside the room. Apartment and linen were clean and had all the amenities we needed for our 4 night stay. Will stay again.

Shower lacked pressure.

Everything was perfect nice view, nice service, nice wifi, and the room was very clean. The staff were so kind and the neat bedding touched me. It was convenient because it was close to the tourist attraction It was a perfect solo trip I will visit again next time

Location, friendly staff. Facilities were clean and stock was there (coffee plunger was a nice addition).

The stay was great. It would have been nice if the fridge was turned on before our arrival to be able to put things in straight away as we had to wait for it to cool. A few of the pillows were very very thin also so we did wake with a slightly sore neck. Other than those two items the stay was excellent and very appreciative.

Great service by the staff. Clean rooms with self contained facilities. Smoking area outside. Parking close by. Central location

Wish the hot pool was open

Large family sized motel, enough space for everyone, surprisingly it had a full kitchen!. Clean and tidy motel and excellent hot showers.

It didn't appear that the hot tub was working.
