Nga mihi nui Cleveland Thermal Motel. Excellent friendly customer service. Appreciated the pre-arrival messages (towels for pool, set up early check in, room near the pool). Thank you for accommodating our every request. You also opened the pool an hour earlier for us the following morning. We were blown away by the complimentary box of chocs upon arrival, so thoughtful. Room included everything you would expect and more, clean, immaculate, confortable. Hassel free wifi. Lovely mineral pool. Grounds, trampoline great. Private, quiet yet central location. Highly recommend for a family trip away. Cannot say enough good things. We will be back.

Warm friendly welcome on arrival 😊. Room nice and warm, bed very comfy. Even though, close to the road, I could hardly hear the traffic, so I got a great night's sleep. Most definitely recommend this motel and would stay again.

The welcoming of the manager we found it to be absolutely awesome she was very supportive with information we required during our stay.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff don't have anything that we didn't like.

We booked the 2 bed room family unit. It was very clean, beds nice and comfy. Close to the pool for kids. Even had 2 car parks, which was great. Fantastic water pressure in shower.

Main rd Traffic was a bit noisy but bearable. It would have been handy to have a couple of bowls for mixing and to put salad into. A grilling rake is needed, i feel. As a family unit, these would have been helpful when cooking meals. And a sharper knife as the one supplied was blunt and we couldn't slice very well it. But oven worked well, nice big fridge with a good size freezer. Overall we were happy and would stay again.

My unit was so warm and super clean. The beds were the best I have slept on, very comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed. Having private thermal pools is very unique, my body appreciated a good soak. Having an outdoor heated family pool was great. I saw many families using this facility - it's winter. The kids and adults loved it. Walking distance to town, Kuirau Park, Lake Rotorua, Ohinemutu, The Government Gardens etc. As a solo traveller, family or group stay here. Thank you everyone at Cleveland Motel for a fabulous experience.

Nothing not to like.

I loved how clean the unit was. The host was very friendly. And the highlight was the heated swimming pool. 35 degrees. Amazing.

Very affordable for families. Outdoor heated pool great for everyone. Trampoline fun for kids. Major plus was new owners and reception staff. Lovely and welcoming. It was start of school holidays and fully booked with lots of kids but reception stayed smiling and happy to help. Any request was answered quickly.

Outdoor chairs didn't have backing so not great for sitting. If not family orientated, should avoid school holidays as there's lots of kids (which was great for us as a family and our kids made friends).

Well located and easy walking to Rotorua centre and to Skyline in the opposite direction. The breakfast is Continental and was waiting in the room upon arrival for the next day's breakfast. The bathroom was very well appointed and modern.The kitchen was a nice surprise with a full size fridge which is rare in motels. We stayed in the back units so had no issues with any possible noise. Upon arrival I was greeted and felt very welcoming to the motel. When leaving we met the owner who was very friendly and had a great chat. Definitely now on our places to stay when visiting. I look forward to our next stay when visiting again.

Very friendly welcome, and as the thermal pool was out of action we were given restaurant vouchers in compensation which was very generous. The main swimming pool was open and was lovely to use. Modern, clean and well equipped room with a very comfy bed. Located a little outside the main town, but about a 25 minute pleasant walk through the thermal park into the centre. A good base for exploring the area.

Great location! Swimming pool is fantastic and super warm all year round! Staff are great. We stay here up to 2-3 times a year and have no trouble with anything. We had a trailer and still had plenty of parking for it. The place is clean and tidy, rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable, quiet as well. Well worth staying here! Highly recommend 👌
