Bella Vista is close to everything and just next door to a geothermal park. The room was small but sufficient for a couple, with nice comfy bed and pillows. They have everything in the room, fridge, aircon, iron, hairdryer, kettle and microwave and sachets of yummy hot chocolate, and a carton of fresh milk. Pat who manages was very nice and helpful. Parking was included to our stay. The motel is close to a petrol station, across the road from a fish and chip shop and a convenient store- it’s also close to the town centre.

Nothing really however, for those who have mobility issues, book a ground floor room as there’s no elevator.

The Bella Vista is simple, clean and had everything we needed, including a fridge/microwave/dishes for making breakfast. There is free parking and even a guest laundry room. The staff were very friendly. The motel is located just steps from the city park with geothermal pools, which is fantastic. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the downtown area with restaurants, shops and thermal spas, as well as the lakefront. We definitely recommend it!

It's located on a busy street, so there is traffic noise -- although we found it mostly calmed down at night and was fine for sleeping.

I had a great stay here! The room was small but had a cozy, welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable — I honestly had one of the best nights of sleep in a long time. The shower pressure was fantastic, which is always a plus. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and any questions a breeze. There was plenty of parking, and the location was perfect — close to everything I needed. It’s got everything you’d want for a comfortable night’s stay. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Hotel was located conveniently close to centre of Rotorua and there was a Chip shop and small store opposite. The gentleman at reception was really helpful even searching for my glasses after I'd left when I'd packed them in my case! Beds were comfortable.

The location next to the main road was convenient but also noisy. There was an extractor fan in the bathroom meaning basically a hole in the wall all the noise comes through. Wasn't so bad with the door shut. Thankfully, was very tired so slept through it.

The accommodation was clean and convenient, and had everything we needed. It was in a great location, we walked everywhere in Rotorua. It was very good value for money.

At night it was a little noisy as it was by the road (which we did know so did expect), but it was not a problem. We were there partly during the week when it was quieter as opposed to Friday and Saturday nights.

Excellent place to stay in Rotorua, run by a very down-to earth gentleman. The room I stayed in was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and well-presented. Good quality tea and coffee (even decaf), good size fridge with a small freezer compartment. Heaps of TV channels, and a good pressure shower with eco-friendly shampoo and body soap supply. Even a small recycling bin so you don't have to throw everything in the rubbish or leave bottles and cans etc standing around - fabulous! Although located on a major road, I could barely hear any traffic noise that Saturday night. There is a bakery (nice pies!) and a dairy just across the road, and Kuirau Park with its hot springs is literally around the corner.

The heating, the beds and the pillows were all so comfortable. We'd had a hard days work and myself and 2 other collegues had a studio room each. The welcome from Pat was lovely and we settled into our rooms and everyone was happy. The communication from Pat was fab. I had left behind some personal items and he called me to let me know they were there!

Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and spacious room, excellent hot water and pressure, comfortable beds, decent value.

Beds were a bit too soft for our preference, the entrance to the room was a single-glazed sliding door which can disturb light sleepers but it was fine for us and couldn't hear the main road. The only natural light was the bathroom window and the sliding door but need to have the curtains pulled for privacy so it was a bit dark but can be solved with having the lights on. But something for other travellers to take note if they really prefer natural light.

It was a very clean, modern studio which I managed to get at a bargain rate as part of a special deal on Bookings.com

I'd paid less for very similar rooms at other motels in Rotorua the previous two nights without them being on this special low rate. So I felt that the room was a little small when looking at its regular price. This motel's prices are generally double many other motels in the area so I thought the room would be larger, but it wasn't. But apart from that still very pleasant and comfortable.

Good location. Clothes Washing facilities. Comfortable rooms- typical motel room but spacious and clean. Heater in bathroom. Microwave . Fish and chip shop in same road ( closed Mondays!)

Lack of dishes to use in microwave / only one provided. Looks dated from outside but fine inside. Garden not very appealing .
