Very clean and comfortable room. Nice bathroom with a particularly pleasant shower. The kitchenette proved useful. The location, near the lake and near Eat Streat and the main shopping district, was ideal. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Rotorua.

I didn't like how you had to go through the blinds to get in and out of the room. Just a little awkward. Also I suppose USB charging port would have been useful. And it took me a bit to figure out how to set the air conditioning; there is a remote control in a caddy on the wall and it's a little hard to understand it. I'd recommend a card with instructions.

The staff (Barry) went above and beyond because he took me to the Information Centre in his car so I could book a visit to Te Puia, having had huge problems booking online. Another member of staff kindly gave me the tokens for the washing machine and tumble dryer, so I could do my laundry. All the staff that I met were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was exceptionally clean, the best Motel I've stayed in. The Motel itself is situated just opposite the Lake at Rotorua, and within a very short walk (5 minutes) of the local eateries, and a very good ice cream shop!

The location was just across the road from the park and the lake so we could just stroll across there. It was also close to the town. The room was clean, towels fluffy and it had an espresso coffee machine and they had supplied some coffee capsules so that was a bonus. The pool was warm although we didn’t use it. There was also a nice peaceful shaded garden area you could sit out in. Every one of the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.

Having a small side table to put a cup of coffee on would have been useful and smaller, lighter armchairs so we could position them better for the TV - a minor point.

We had three rooms, one with disabled access which was very well equipped. The rooms were all spacious and clean, with a small kitchen, milk and tea making facilities provided, and all toiletries in the bathroom. The location is excellent and the manager (?) directed us to the street full of fantastic restaurants which is very close and an easy walk even with a mobility scooter. It’s a motel but was still very quiet even with cars parked immediately outside the rooms.

The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable!

The location was great. Opposite the lake and a few minutes walk from Eat Street. John, reception, was excellent. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Room was wonderful too. Very spacious 2 good sized bedrooms, large living/dining/kitchen area. Well equipped with hob, microwave. Toaster, nespresso machine with pods, large fridge. Even given some fresh milk for our tea/coffee. Nice shower room and toilet. Plenty of towels, very comfy beds. Was extremely clean. Nice small, warm pool, garden area with bbq and seating area. Cannot fault anything. Had a great stay.

We enjoyed that just across the road from the Lodge was the best park ever, also views that u would never see staying in the other hotels. We were a 5min walk from the shops, everything was so close and accessible it was amazing, definitely recommend and will definitely stay again x

It wasnt a major but the WIFI wasn't connecting all the time, the tv was awesome. We were there for a netball tournament so by the time we got back, was play at the park, shower, moe other than that we loved everything else.

Great location close to everything, size of the 2 bedroom apartment was great, customer service was next to none, the manager was extremely helpful, everything was great.

The shower is the only thing that needs improving. There was a fine margin between very hot and very cold and the pressure wasnt great. We also had a minor issue with the pullout sofa bed which was a bit tricky to get out.

Location, Woolworths a few minutes down the road by car and the lodge had all we needed to do basic meals etc. If you want to eat out Eat St is at the end of the road, across the road is parkland where you can walk to Sulphur point. Room layout great, had comfy sofa in front of the TV.

Not so easy to find the entrance, not helped by Google sending us round the back to somewhere else.

The apartment, a little old, but big, with all the amenities. You can cook if you want to.. in front of a big park. Several hotels and restaurants around the area Walking distance to the bus stop to Auckland, but better to call an Uber, specially if raining!

The apartment itself is ok! The supermarkets are very far away! To go to the restaurants nearby, you have to walk about 2-3 blocks. Very limited options. To get better options, one needs to go around the Bus Station, and walk a little.bit more!; in the direction of the souvenirs shops and supermarkets!

Barry and staff were amazing. So friendly and welcoming. The breakfast at the bnb side was great with plenty of options. Barry made some great recommendations where to eat locally. It is so close to the food precinct and easy to find. Will definitely come back to stay.

The only negative I could think of was the lack of air conditioning in the bnb side but I would say that it’s a personal preference thing and given the age of the house, it may be harder to install.
