Location was really stunning with a beautiful view. I recommend to book in the summer time if you want to experience the view and sunrise. The house itself was phenomenal because of the vintage style. All the rooms are spacious. It’s cosy and quiet. My family loved it and they were really emotional the moment we left because it felt like moving out of a house of our own. It suits a big family ❤️ We enjoyed our stay and the kids loved it 🙂

Just need some love and maintenance. Roof was leaking onto the couch when it rained. Upstairs floor is really noisy. TV audio needs fixing as it sounds like the speakers are popped, maybe the setting. Outside of property needs cleaning, garden, outdoor space, laundry space etc…. Maybe remove some of the unused building next to the house where the other bathroom is located.

The location is just gorgeous with such beautiful views! Very clear instructions were given to get there and check in and out which made it simple. We liked saying hello to the llamas in the farm next door. The layout is really cool, it’s all very spacious.

Some of the outlets stopped working at night and we didn’t see the breaker box was outside in front until the next morning so some rooms slept without heat. Maybe adding info about that in the instructions would be helpful for future guests.

Views are absolutely stunning and the property is gorgeous, really cool design and the bedrooms all have amazing views. Cosy living space with the fireplace too.

A number of the kitchen appliances were not working including the oven. We had a bad experience on our second night as there was heavy rain and the ceiling leaked, plus a bad odour came into the room with the heavy rain, possibly a blocked drain. The outside areas are in need of a little TLC, some rotting wood, it's all a bit run down.

The house has an absolutely magical view right out over Rotorua and the lake. The large deck space allows for dining outside and gorgeous views. The bedrooms were all spacious with great quality beds. So a fantastic sleep for all.

The view was awesome.

Little difficult to access. A lot of cobwebs, had interesting lighting. An aircon would have been nice as of a night door's and windows wouldn't be open.

Amazing location high above Rotorua giving a unique perspective of the thermal landscape. Very quiet and private.

The rooms were very light in the morning.

other than a few minor issues, i.e. range hood, down lights on top of the kitchen sink, 2 of the 6 burner gas cooktop not working, all others are satisfactory

Everything, from the views the amount of space inside and out totally felt like we were on a secluded island, full size kitchen with everything alot of heating to keep warm and cosy, the host was extremely helpful and communication on everything and anything is vast. Would definitely reccomend to all.

Amazing location. Huge home with plenty of space for everyone. Fantastic deck.

There is a restaurant on site that we assumed would be open but it was closed. The Outdoor BBQ was unusable and we could not get the oven to work.

The worst untidy entry/yard I've ever had to drive people through to get to their accommodation ,A really good tidy up would improve the place as well as getting rid of dead machines/ cars etc
