This place is pristine. It is a wonderful getaway from the city, situated in a quiet suburban area with open land to the rear, and a nice little swimming pool. The rooms are luxurious. There’s plenty of space in this bed and breakfast to cater for yourself, or the hosts will point you in the right direction of good places to eat nearby. The hosts were relaxed and charming, and I enjoyed a very relaxing evening looking at the stars from The patio outside my room. A wonderful day.

Some people might not like to be in a suburban area away from the noise of the city, but I thought it was ideal for some peace and quiet.

The room we had was quiet and comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The pool was very clean and inviting although we were too busy to use. The bedding was comfortable and we slept so well that it was hard to get going. Each guest has a parking spot. The location is close enough to the town for convenience. The breakfast was very good and accommodated food sensitivities without any problems or fears. It was more than enough and very, very fresh. We just let the host know what time we needed breakfast and she had everything ready. We got to meet other guests and compare our plans and experiences!

The accommodation exceeded our expectations, the room is very spacious, everything was very clean and tidy, the facilities are absolutely adequate. It is located just outside Rotorua, it is very quiet there, the swimming pool invites you to take a few relaxing laps. The restaurants in Rotorua are about 15 minutes away by car. Jan and her husband are great hosts, they made a very good breakfast and fulfilled all wishes. This accommodation is highly recommended, a mega big thank you to Jan and her husband

The hosts were very accomodating to our needs and organised regarding breakfast - plus the communication was excellent during the time of booking. The rooms were spotless. Fresh linen, towels, bath robes and soaps. The room felt very private with the tinted glass and courtyard lined with a well manicured hedge. The bathroom was spacious and accommodated with everything one would need. Pool was lovely and warm and clean and didn’t have an overwhelming chemical chlorine smell. Overall the experience was great and good value for money

Our overnight stay at Parkside Boutique Lodge in Rotorua was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the convenience of the parking, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. The lodge is perfectly situated just a 15-minute ride from the city center, providing easy access to all the local attractions and amenities. Despite being close to the city, the lodge offered a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat. The property itself is amazing, offering a serene and secure environment. We felt completely at ease throughout our stay, thanks in large part to the welcoming and incredibly assistive Property Manager. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort was evident from the start. Our room was immaculate, with cleanliness and freshness that made it feel like a true home away from home. The next morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast that provided a perfect start to our day. The common areas, including the kitchen, lobby, and dining space, were appealing and fully equipped to meet all our basic needs. The lodge also boasts excellent amenities, such as a pool, a mini gym, and a basic sauna, adding to the overall relaxation and enjoyment of our brief stay. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from our room. As nature lovers, we were captivated by the peaceful and incredible scenery that surrounded us, making our stay even more special. Considering all these wonderful aspects, the price of our stay was incredibly affordable and well worth it. We left Parkside Boutique Lodge with the intention of returning in the future, as it truly provided an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Rotorua!

Our host Jen was awesome. The breakfast was great and the rooms were very comfortable. The view to the back of the property for meals was also quite nice.

The location and exterior was just very average. It is located in a normal subdivision with lots of other houses. So it just felt like staying at someone's house instead of a quaint bed and breakfast. It is also a fairly long distance from Rotorua, where you will probably want to spend your time.

Tucked away in quiet location within easy reach by car of Rotarua the Parkside Boutique Lodge was the ideal location for our two night stay. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The private outdoor space very welcome at the end of a busy day. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast comprised of a choice of cereals, toast, a delicious bowl of cut fruit and a plate with a choice of cold meat, cheese, boiled eggs, avocados and tomatoes. Coffee and a choice of teas and fruit juice were available. There’s a fridge in the communal kitchen area. Our days were busy so we didn’t use the pool, gym or sauna.

We loved our stay with Jenny and would stay there again in the future. Everything was amazing from the delicious breakfast every morning, the patio from our room overlooked these beautiful hills, the pool and sauna were such a treat after hours hiking, the en-suite bathroom was lovely with all the touches of an upscale spa, and the location was perfect in every sense. We were very close to Mitai village, the Zorbs, the gondola and winery. The other attractions were within 30 min by car. The bonus for us was that though it was close to everything the location did not have the sulphur smell as we got into town. Jenny and her husband were lovely!

We had a wonderful welcome from Jen and Gary. The house is lovely. Great breakfast each morning. It was really nice mingling with the other guests over breakfast. Swimming pool was an added bonus. Nice warm water and really well looked after. Jen and Gary were very helpful with restaurant and sightseeing choices. Not in the centre of Rotorua but we preffered that.

Our stay at Parkside was very quiet & peaceful...we loved everything about the property...the bed was very comfortable, great bathroom, breakfast was just perfect...Gary gave us some great tips for things to do around the area...cannot think of anything they could do to improve! Thank you for looking after us so well...much appreciated!

There wasn't anything we didn't like...would say though that it is necessary to have a car as it is in a residential area...still a very easy drive into town
