The building was very clean and spacious for a family of 4. It is perfect for kids: they loved the playground, and the lovely animals. It is located outside the busy city center but close to many activities. We also loved the compfortable bed after à busy day. It was perfect.

Our family of five had an amazing night here with the playground and animals keeping our two kids entertained and filled with joy. The rooms were both beautiful and spotless — truly perfect for our stay. We loved the view of the animals and playground, allowing us to easily keep an eye on our little ones while they played. The location was perfect, just a short distance from Skyride we wanted to visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, the staff were friendly and made our trip so enjoyable after a day full of adventures. Shout out to the owner and team for maintaining such a fantastic facility :)

Had the disabled unit because we are elderly and have associated problems. Absolutely brilliantly designed from the moment you step out of the car onto a gradual slope that takes you to the door. most convenient unit we've experienced for a long time. everything was sparkling clean and well designed. Enjoyed looking out of the ranch slider to the lovely well equipped children's playground and the paddock of alpacas was a pleasure. There is a noise curfew at 9.30pm which is appreciated by most. The location was excellent, out of the noise of the city and down a driveway so we felt we were away in a little world of our own. Very handy to Velocity Valley, the Agrodome etc and the rail cruise at Ngongataha. the motel is close enough to the city centre to go out for dinner easily.

Only thing I would change/add is another light switch to the bed head. Currently there is one on the right side which my husband operated and I if I wasn't ready to sleep, would have to either walk around the bed to turn it off then return in the dark to my side or wake him up. Two light switches would be fabulous. That said, I loved the strip light in the bedhead!

Great location. A real treat that neighbouring field has alpacas that were fun to watch. Lovely clean rooms with good facilities. Friendly staff. Nice sunny terrace spot to enjoy the outdoors. Short drive to lots of tourism spots but also a good distance from the bustle of town (and less smelly)

The beds were very firm so ended up asking for extra pillows to be able to lie on them to get some sleep. The staff were quick to help with this, and some people may enjoy the harder sleeping surface. The limited office hours - often there wasn't anyone there despite it saying that reception was open. It is worth noting that there is currently construction happening on property next door, so view is not the prettiest but the workers are considerate and don't start too early - rooms also have some sound proofing which helps

The location was perfect for us, just down the road from Mitai Maori Village, where we spent one of our evenings. The room was excellent with everything we needed to cater for ourselves, and a comfortable bed. The resident animals were a nice addition. Convenient parking outside the room.

The lightbulb in the bathroom is quite dim. The only way to get sufficient light outside of daytime hours was to also switch on the heat lamp, which isn't ideal. The TV wasn't working properly, meaning we couldn't use any smart features. It seemed to be an issue with disk space which will need looking into.

Rooms were modern and clean- even better than the photos. View was lovely from the lounge- looking out to paddocks, giving a sense of space. You are out of town (only by 5 mins) so it’s quiet and peaceful.

Children’s playground a little bit “DIY”, room servicing a bit hit and miss- beds not made up 2 days , floor not vacuumed (we abided by the rules of nothing on floor or nothing foreign in beds or no cleaning would be done). Lacked utensils for basic cooking.

Clean room, and the room looks new. We were upgraded to the newer room and the room was great with all facilities new. We could see lama, chicken and sheep from our room. Compond is big and you could take a leisure walk at the estate. Countdown Supermarket is nearby. My kid was fascinated by the 2 chickens roaming outside our room.

The quality of the shampoo and shower gel in the toilet could be better. Could also supply more bottles especially if there are a few guests in the room. Toilet is nice though.

Nice spot to be out of busy Rotorua a bit. We were surrounded by hills, cattle, llama, sheep. Nice gardens, easy parking, sat in the sun on the lawn with a wine after a big day at geothermals then off to 9.30pm Redwoods Night tour. Spacious Apartment #5 everything we needed, 2 separate rooms.

Main road got a bit noisy in the early morning but when I brushed the curtains back there was green grass & trees & cattle... so I was happy. There was no milk supplied. I asked reception, said he'd purchase at 6.30pm (apparently motel had run out?) never got any but that's fine. I would have bought milk if I had of known.

Loved parking the spaces, playground and outdoor patio especially waking up to the farm across our unit. It was a lovely peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Beds were amazing. Executive suite was a perfect size for my little family and I. Faith the housekeeping lady was so lovely, she had did her job throughly we had clean sheets, fresh towels made our beds and vacuumed our whole unit and that was surprisingly on our 4th day there of our 5 night stay. The others did basic cleaning but faith went over and beyond. Really Appreciate coming back to a spotless room fresh clean and tidy after a long day out & about. Thank you Faith :) (Room 11)

On arrival our room had hair everywhere in the lounge area my infant kept picking it up - not nice all. The microwave reeked of curry :/ Bedroom at the back was super cold at night especially during winter should be great and cool for summer though I reckon. I strongly advise to put a heater in there especially for small families with children or for the elderly and because the heat pump doesn't get to that back room.

Everything except the check-out time

We stayed one day. Checked in about 6pm and we were exhausted from long drive , so we went to sleep just after dinner straight. We slept great, as it’s really the quietest place on earth. I assumed the check-out was 11am (I should have really checked), but unfortunately overslept to be woken up by 10.10am by a phone call which I missed. We rushed to get our things together , so we didn’t even get a chance to have a cuppa tea or brush our teeth, let alone taking shower. Given how amazing the place was and the bed was comfy and it’s in a rural part of Rotorua, it would be fair to make the checkout at least 10.30am. Overall all we did was crash in bed and rush out of bed. Didn’t use anything else.
