The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the room was well-equipped with kitchen facilities. The kids especially enjoyed the spa.

It would have been great if the bathroom heater had been working (I did inform the staff, so I trust this has been or will be addressed promptly), and if there were panel heaters in the separate bedrooms. The portable electric heater felt a bit unsafe to leave on overnight while sleeping.

Room was very well kept and tidy and clean. Bed was fresh and smelt nice, room was an excellent size - lots of room (would be great for a family with two kids as it had two single beds as well as the queen. Good kitchen amenities (not that we needed it but handy to know). Bathroom was great with spa bath and shower and good water pressure. Good location in town - not far from main town and good amount of parking.

Nothing, we had a great experience and night there. Probably just a note its a bit of a walk from town but thats not major to me.

Staff is nice. I left home too hurry that morning and didn't bring credit card, but I was allowed to provide card number only to pay the rate. Nice and clean room. Facility is impressive, there is even a good air conditioner running silently. Location is good enough, not far from the lake and city centre. Close enough to Pack n Save and there are two 4 square nearby.

The location, the TV can cast from yr phone.

Paying for the bond even though a payment had gone out for 1 night and when booking mentioned paying at the motel. The weather did not help, horrible rain. Our room was upstairs and was sure that I had mentioned in the comments book for a room on ground floor.

After spending a week in more remote locations, I was dreading the hustle & bustle of a large town. Bella Vista was the low-key retreat I needed, just 2 blocks off the lake & a short walk to cafes & shops. All the amenities I needed (loved the Natural Earth with Active Manuka Honey toiletries!) without paying for frills I didn’t want. Definitely would stay again / longer & recommend to anyone!

The layout of the room was great! Really good to have the double bed in the lounge and the single beds in a separate room, rather than the other way around. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was large.

Could have been more hooks or hanging areas for towels. The hobs were a little dangerous for kids I thought, we had to be very watchful that they didn’t turn the knobs while we weren’t looking! But in saying that, the hobs were handy and we did use them to cook breakfast.

The place was spotless, dated but spotless we were able to park close, the owners kept in contact and allowed a late checkout which wasnt needed in the end, we did buy milk after asking if there was fresh milk (miss communication on my part) there was those little milk pots in the fridge so didnt need the milk, beds were a double or queen? Enough space and again the place was clean and well laid out.

Very handy location. Close to the lakefront and town centre. I stayed for the V8s and it was an easy 5 min walk down to the park and ride busses (at Kaimanawa reserve).

Thus room was tidy, clean, good size, and had all you needed for a nights stay. Room had gd lighting, warm and cosy, rooms are sound proof, value for money and good parking vinicity. Close to everything. Tis our favourite place to book when staying in Taupo!

Didnt like the pillows used in this room as were too soft.

Room was immaculately clean. Quiet with no significant road noise. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced on an event weekend.

Room was very small but fine for a short stay, and matched what I paid for.
