Accommodation is set back from the main street so it's nice and quiet - rooms are nicely laid out and spacious and the shower was wonderful!! Just a short walk or drive to the main shops and restaurants as well. The visitors centre is just a 5 minute walk from here as well.

Not really anything about the accommodation itself but the restaurants and hotels can get busy at night for dinner - so if you are coming to the town then recommend booking. I would assume that most people are coming here to visit Milford Sounds - it's around 2 hours so give yourself time for that especially as it often rains the closer you get.

Aaron was a wonder host. The rooms (we had to book 1 night separate from the other 2 to make reservation online) were both very comfortable. Walk to town centre, DOC Info center and the walking paths around the lake were all very close by.

The bathroom heater did not work in our first room and was missing in the second room. Water temperature regulation in shower was very sensitive: needed to take care not to get water too hot

We stayed in one room and moved to another. The first room deserved a higher rating but this room however had a more “tired” bathroom but everything was still scrupulously clean. After our experience I can only presume the Motel was being refurbished. Small details had been thought of and I would highly recommend the motel to other travellers. Excellent staff. Cheerful and helpful. Thank you.

Friendly owners. Very accomodating. Exceptionally clean, serviced the room beautifully even though we were only staying two nights. Attention to detail, they have thought of all the little things that make you want to return. Super sized bed. Heating was fantastic. Water pressure in shower was awesome. Great location, easy walk to the lake. Washing machine/dryer facilities affordable and dried the clothes quickly. We will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Property was spacious and comfortable. Even had some cooking facilities. Even though I didn’t leave it dirty, I came back each day from our activity and it was spotless. When we needed anything, staff were there ready to help us out. And location was great. Walking distance to the lake too. Thank you.

We arrived for three nights at this motel, and from the moment we arrived we were shocked, first of all a couple with a slant welcomed us with a smile and a desire to help, immediately she wanted to open the door for us and waited until we finished registering and booking the cruise. All our difficulties were received with a smile, the room is very clean and equipped. No words, excellent value for the price.

Clean. Good location. Had everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was really comfortable.

Walls were quite thin - although we couldn't hear the neighbours talking, we could hear the taps running and some movement.

Good position for lake and facilities. People nice.

We had a fridge that although appeared clean stank. They changed it the second day. If you have these problems you need spares, not just waiting for vacant rooms. I think it had been used for Durian

Super clean. Spacious room. Could cook a bit as there was a 2 burner stove top, pots, pans, refrigerator. Great shower and fantastic water pressure. Plenty of hot water. Walkable to the center of town too. Everything was really perfect.

A large clean room with a big tv. Cooking facilities and a large bathroom. Air conditioning. The heater in the bathroom didn’t work but we didn’t need it. It was a quiet location and we could park right outside our room. Bed was comfortable.

The taps were on wrong in the bathroom vanity.
