Close to the supermarket, the staff were very helpful and excellent communication, the guest information was everything and more alot of info for room and eateries, the fact they provide chrome cast, great selection of tv channels we really enjoyed the sky movies, the comfy beds, and very clean units, and the soap dispensers are brilliant very impressed with those as most toiletries provided are not enough, and they smelt really good too and made me feel really refreshed, great amount of towels supplied too

There was nō sugar, and the only source of heating to heat the studio unit was a wee lil heater

Last minute booking and good value for money. Accommodating host. Great location 2nd building along is Woolworths, across from that is new world. Not far from Hells Pizza, McDonald & KFC a small stroll away. Old decor but very clean & comfortable. Full kitchen. Also a $2.50 washing or dryer guest laundry available. Daily room service. Very happy with our stay.

Limited utensils. Dated decor. No air conditioning, but a floor fan available. Slight noise from being next to main road. A light wasn’t fixed to the ceiling but the wife said her husband would fix straight an away.

A great location, ample space for our needs, shower is good. Decor is dated but is ok.

We stayed in Unit 5 and in the early hours of the morning we could hear the toilet flushing and shower running from the next unit. The light bulb in the dining area was blown and there was insect (daddy long leg) in the bathroom with dust behind the toilet.

Very close to CBD, restaurants, tourist attractions like Whangarei Waterfall, swimming spots like Parua Bay and Whangarei Heads. We attended Waitangi weekend events and Waitangi Day as well. The room was very clean and tidy, courteous and friendly, easy check in at reception. Housekeeping very responsive to our needs. The fans were handy during the hot nights.

The motelier was very helpful. The apartment was well laid out and roomy. I liked the round table and three comfy chairs in the middle of the room. The room was clean, tidy and warm. Location was great.

We could hear the people in the next room who were talking quite loud as we were trying to sleep.

The rooms were exceptionally clean. The shower was hot and strong. The person at reception was courteous and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and I had a great sleep.

I am 5’3” and had to balance on the lip of the showet enclosure and stretch to reach the controls.

While it was a little difficult to find initially because of a tricky three way intersection coming from the city center (or maybe it was because we were driving on what was for us, the wrong side of the road), this modernized retro 50's style motel was quiet, spacious, had kitchen facilities, a designated tv area with couch, and an easily managed shower. Parking was just outside the door, and there were clothes hanging and relaxation areas outdoors. Although we were only there overnight, a family could easily spend longer there. The proprietor was welcoming and gave us a container of milk for making our own coffee or tea, readily available on the kitchen counter. There is very easy access to downtown and to quick-food drive thru places.

It was a last minute booking but the front desk guy was super nice. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Big shout out to the reception guy for having a battery booster when our car was dead in the morning!

The accommodations and locations were perfect. Close walk to everything. The bed was great, the kitchenette perfect for us and it was really quiet at night. It even had an outdoor clothesline for us to use. The owners were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return. Thank you for being so nice and friendly.❤️

Large comfortable rooms, massive bed and very warm. The room was spotlessly clean and I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Would definitely recommend to others and will be coming back to stay here.
