Room was rather small with a king bed that was only a foot off the floor, two comforters and two pillows (that should have been discarded long ago, they were worn out). We actually had two places to open our suitcases, which is very unusual. The desk was very large with plenty of room for hot pot and fixings along with my computer. An overhead light and several electrical outlets were available. We did have a small refrigerator but no in-room safe. Breakfast is included in the price of your room. The room was cleaned, and the bed was made daily. We had contact with the front desk staff on several occasions and they were always pleasant and very helpful.

The location is great, very central but not noisy. Awesome breakfast including lots of nice polish food to try. They had a lovely egg salad and a very tasty mushroom pie, a light fluffy cake with I assume cottage cheese, lots of fresh fruit plus so the usual bread-meat-cheese-cereal choices. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with coffee and tea in the room. The staff were polite and reliable.

This is not a big issue, but the bathroom was rather stingy. Just a soap dispenser and one and a half roll of toilet paper - so no shampoo or cream or vanity set. You can buy the extras and the reception desk. Same goes for the mini bar - you could get a soft drink at the reception, nothing in the room. Not a big deal with Zabka stores at every corner open until late, but a bit clumsy.

Hotel Alexander proved to be one of the best few hotels I have stayed in on my now many travels. For a very reasonable price per night (a bargain, one might say), including an excellent breakfast, everything you might want was provided and the staff were most helpful where needed. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and the waitresses kept replenishing stocks as required, without ever interfering by removing one's plate or cutlery until the guest had clearly finished. The location was two short streets away from the centre square, so there was plenty of choice of eating places within just a few hundred yards. An incredibly good value hotel!

How close it was the the centre lovely rooms and big enough for what we needed

I was not told upon arrival that I had to pay for the rest of the property nor was I given the option to pay on arrival or departure, this money was taken out of my bank me thinking it was a safety deposit to cover the room and cost that would be given back to me if all was okay with the room after we had left . The woman just checked us in with no information that we had to pay for one night and then the rest a different time we was given no option so came as I complete shock when I had to pay for the 2 nights all together at the end of the stay . This should of been communicated not only when booking but also when we arrive Breakfast was good however the hard boiled eggs were freezing this would of been nice if they could be kept warm

The location of the property is great, not far from the main square and places to eat nearby. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, we booked a room with a bath in the bedroom which was huge and appreciated after a long day of sightseeing! The bed was comfortable and room was very clean, really liked the extra touches of water in the room, chocolates and bathrobes and slippers.

If I had to pick anything I would just say the breakfast choices were lacking a little, some croissants would be nice along with beans or some warm tomatoes. Also the bath in the room wouldn’t hold water so we could only fill it a little bit and then the water would drain away.

Everything, can’t fault it

We loved this Hotel. We stayed there five years prior and enjoyed our stay then. The young gentleman at the desk remembered me and was so welcoming. The rooms were a great size and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable to sleep on. The hotel is in a great location with everything a walkable distance. The breakfast offered many options and the staff were quick to clear away table when people finished. Could not speak more highly of this Hotel and the way it is run. Staff were very helpful and kind.

Nothing to dislike about this hotel

Breakfast: was generous, all kind of food and fruits and cheese, yogurt, more than enough. What did we like: first of all, we were surprised that all the stuff in the room are like new and not so cheap, I mean, a little bit not an older room, good air in the bathroom, good shower, nice toilette, clean. The beds have comfortable mattresses and nice sheets. Can make tea and coffee in the room. The walls are covered in nice paper wall sticker.

We did not have shower gel, but it s not a tragedy
