Blown away by the location right next to a wonderful green leafy square it’s in a quieter area which was ideal for us but still so close to everything. Apartment has everything you could need or want. There is also little cafe in park opposite that serves coffees drinks etc such as chilled out relaxed vibe loved it. Supermarket literally around the corner that sells anything you could want. Large selection of restaurants all within 15 min walk. Used Bolt taxi a few times they had no problems finding us. Communication and staff were amazing hope to go back again thank you for our lovely stay

Location, next to a playground and park with a kiosk selling coffee and snacks. Comfortable place, great for single person or couple.

It was all good, just beware of a bit of noise at night - the (very cosy) bar next door sometimes sees its guests leaving talking a bit too loud. Not the fault of the place, and I noticed it but it didn't wake me up.

We loved the location, the apartment is close to the metro stop. It is also located opposite a beautiful park. Most of all, it was a pleasure to communicate with Paulo. He was great and the staff were exceptional. The breakfast was amazing and they catered to our vegan diet. There is a nearby grocery store which is really convenient.

The room we got was a bit older and the shower took a while to drain. This was fine as we were out for most of the days in any case.

Modernised studio in old building. Well located for metro. Brilliant breakfasts brought to your door every morning. Owners very helpful. Metro system was really efficient. Only a 3-4 minute walk away.

No handrail or guarding down side of staircase. This is dangerous and posses a risk of falling. Cheap toilet seat not secured correctly. Plug in wash hand basin ineffective which means water does not stay in sink and just wastes water.

Absolutely Amazing place! Highly recommended! Paulo was waiting outside of the apartment, told us great story on what is going on in the city, a bit of history and the directions. Then we came around to our studio, he showed us everything inside and we arrange the first breakfast. Great contact, very helpful, staff was coming everyday with breakfast of our choice and they were asking about the cleaning or help. Super friendly!

Paulo was very easy to communicate with, and very very nice and hospitable. He met us himself and gave us recommendations about the neighborhood & our stay. We remained in touch throughout the whole stay, regarding breakfast/cleaning, and anything we really needed. Breakfasts were very nice, it was great that we could pick to receive them at different times every day, which we did according to our plans. Fruits, croissants & pastries were amazing, cheese and meat selection as well. Loved the little park next to the apartment, as well as the Argentinian restaurant around the corner. The location was great as well, away from touristy areas but also within walking distance to the very center. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Lisbon :)

The shower did leak a little bit, so we had to request extra towels for the bathroom floor (which were provided without any questions upon our request). Overall, nothing else notable.

This was our second stay in Casa Amora and although changed compared to when we visited 10+ years ago, it has kept the same hospitality and great people who run it. It is clean, equipped with everything one might need with the breakfast included (a great one, you choose from the variety of savoury and sweer choices) and close to many attractions (10-20 minutes walking distance) and if you do not feel like walking, there is the Rato station taking you almost anywhere in the city (and beyond). Quiet in the night and just perfectly lively during the day, it is the excellent starting point in Lisbon. Paolo is a great and very hospitable host, who met all our needs and inquiries promptly. He provides great recommendations of restaurants and ongoing exhibitions, if you're into arts&culture. Beside Paolo, the staff was also very friendly and hospitable. We recommend this stay to everyone and look forward to returning one day!

The manager and staff were brilliant. Breakfast was excellent. The location was also outstanding; close to the metro, a lovely small park with a great cafe very nearby, an excellent bar just round the corner. Overall the apartment was very comfortable with good facilities.

BA lost my wife's suitcase for over 2 days. The first 2 nights were quite noisy, especially the bin collection lorries. We chose the wrong time to visit Lisbon, as everywhere was extremely busy and all the public buildings in Sintra were closed due to a strike.

We really enjoyed our stay at casa amora. Paulo was one of the best hosts we ever had. He was very helpful: he waited for us even when we were checking in late, he was very responsive through messages and had some great recommendations on what we should see in Lisbon. The breakfast was also very delicious and fresh. The studio is close to the city center by foot and by bus.

The studio was a bit too dark for our liking. We also had some problems with the rain: some rain water entered the apartment due to the fact that the studio is at ground floor level. But Paulo was very helpful and cleaned up in a matter of minutes.

We loved everything about Casa Amora. Paulo met us on arrival and told us about the area - about the beautiful gardens, the silk industry, Maria Helena Vieira da Silva - it all brought the house and area alive; such a wonderful sense of history here. Communication throughout was excellent, we were given plenty of suggestions of where to visit in this fabulous city, where to eat etc, nothing was too much trouble. Our apartment (Vieira) was beautiful - big comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen, shutters to close at night (loved those!). Breakfast was incredible - anything you wanted from the very generous list - meats, cheese, bread, croissants, granola, pastel de nata etc. delivered each morning - what a great start to the day! Great location - you can walk into the city centre easily or pick up the metro at Rato (5 minutes away); there's a supermarket and lovely restaurant called Aguas Livres just around the corner plus the fabulous, intimate Procopio Bar is literally your neighbour. We had the best time; highly recommended!
