The staff was friendly and helpful when I had some problems at 3am even. It even had a kitchen, utensils and clean refrigerator which was a surprise.

The bathroom smelled faintly of tobacco.

The apartment was exactly as decribed, I have nothing to complain about. The furnishings are a bit old but everything works perfectly well, the rooms are spacious, the beds are comfy, the bathroom is spacious and the shower had good water pressure. Everything is super clean, and they do a great job tidying up everyday as well. The AC was honestly a life-saver during the heat waves. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Not really something that I disliked so much as didn't expect: the pool is located behind the hotel, but it's essentially in the middle of a bunch of other buildings, and while you do get sun for a decent portion of the day (morning to mid afternoon), you might be on display for neighbours of the hotel.

A very comfortable suite,spacious,with bedroom, and separate lounge/dining /kitchen area.Good location about 15-20 minutes' walk from Restauradores/Rossio area,(all uphill on the way back).The room was cleaned every day and towels replaced most days.A small repair needed for the fridge was carried out very promptly.Basic kitchen equipment, quite adequate for breakfast and snacks.Supermarkets and restaurants near at hand,and the bus to Belem stops just around the corner.

We were disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance for part of our stay. The description stated there was a coffee maker but we couldn't find one,nor a clothes rack for drying clothes. The cups were rather small for making tea but I guess we use bigger cups and mugs in the UK!Not a major problem though

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room decoration is a little dated, however was clean, and all the facilities worked. Air conditioning in particular was very effective and easily controlled. Our single apartment included a small kitchen area which gave us flexibility of eating at home rather than in a restaurant every night and the use of the fridge/freezer was helpful. There is a large supermarket close by so we made good use of that. The hotel is also within 10 minutes walk of two metro stations and the journey into the city centre took only 1o minutes or so. The hotel is close by a number of restaurants and bars.

The hotel and room decor is in need of updating, however don't let that put you off going - it is a very decent hotel in a great location.

The breakfast was spectacular! We had never seen anything like it. From breads and pastries ( including the famous Portuguese tart) to eggs, meat, cold cuts, cheeses, dates, olives, cereals, yogurts… The staff were both friendly and helpful - absolutely lovely people in the kitchen and at the front desk. The location is first rate, close to public transport and a lovely park. We spent time at the terrific pool - it was quiet and private and well appointed.

The bathroom in our suite was rather strange in that the door could only open about 12 inches before it ran into the toilet. The shower was a similar tight squeeze. A large person could have trouble getting in and out.

The property is easy to get to from the airport, lying in between ‘Marquês de Pombal’ and ‘Rato’ on the yellow metro line. Take the red metro line from the airport, change for the yellow metro line in ‘Saldanha’ and get off at one of the two mentioned above. Total travel time from the airport including walking is about 50 minutes. The check-in is very straightforward and the desk is manned 24/7, so even if your flight is delayed (like ours was), you are still able to check-in whenever you get there. The room we were in (one bedroom apartment) is lovely and big enough for 4 people (we were 2 adults and 1 child). There is a sofa bed in the living room area, which was already set up for us when we got there. For a sofa bed, it’s very comfortable! The bed in the bedroom is lovely as well. There is a kitchen, which has all you need to cook some dinner (we didn’t use it for dinner, as there are great restaurant close to the apartment building) and of course a fridge. There is also a microwave, kettle and toaster. The bathroom is spacious with a bath and shower above it, a toilet, bidet and large counter with washbasin. Plenty of space to put your toiletries down. You’ll be given plenty of towels and there is a towel rack above the bath to dry them. If you want, your room will be made every day (which we only used when needed, which was once). There are 2 TVs (1 in the living room and 1 in the bedroom), with plenty of options to watch something in the evenings. Unfortunately, there’s no Netflix on them, but this didn’t bother us. There is plenty of wardrobe space and drawers to put your clothes in, if you don’t want to live out of your suitcase. Breakfast is absolutely amazing! There is a large buffet with plenty of food available. Of course they have the Pastel de Nata in mini form, donuts, pain au chocolate, croissants, scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheese and meats, bread rolls, cereals, juice, water and all kinds of coffee!

The only minor issue we had was that there weren’t enough hangers in the wardrobe (only 3), but this didn’t bother us. We just folded our clothes and put them in the drawers and on the shelves. There are a couple of chips to the wood throughout the apartment, but that’s just from wear and tear. While we were there, there was an issue with the water in the middle of the night, which meant we couldn’t use the water in the morning to flush the toilet or have a shower. This was swiftly fixed though and by the time we came back late in the afternoon, all was working again.

Everything! The front desk staff is wonderful. I stayed here last year and it was a delight to see the same friendly faces. My two sisters and I had a great room with everything we needed. The Breakfast Ladies keep an exceptional array of delicious breakfast goodies for any diet - always hot and fresh. The coffee machine made any type of morning beverage you desire. The cappuccino was our favorite :-) Finally the location is ideal - safe area and close to everything with a short walk or taxi, if needed. We are walkers. Plus, there is a Continente supermarket just around the corner for anything else you may need like wine and water.

I cannot not think of anything.

Location is great, breakfast is very good, free parking is always a bonus in city centers, the apartment is quite big and the kitchen nicely equipped, the dining are is large enough to accommodate a family of 5-6 and the rooms are also nice and not small. A separate and individually controlled AV unit in each room gets a 12 out of 10 for a European rental. This alone is totally worth the stay.

The showers can do with some work. In the master bedroom the shower head was falling apart and under par, in the second bathroom the shower was very tight and with a curtain instead of glass doors, combined with a very bad shower head made it impossible for the kids to use...

Fantastic big rooms with kitchette. Wonderful pool. Great breakfast. Staff were really helpful. Particular thanks to Krisia on the front desk, which tracked down specific shoes I needed when I was unable to find them. She really went beyond her duty there Also, great to see staff wiping place mats, tables, and chairs at breakfast with a spray bottle. Immediately, people left they were onto this, ensuring the tables were cleared and clean. It is very much appreciated. Seemed to be a really well run hotel.

Rooms a little dated, but criticism ends there.

Very spacious suite, a lot more than expected. It has a big balcony and all you need. Although, it's not in the center of the old city, it's very accessible, a close metro. Plus a nice parking. Perfect if you have a car. I'll definitely consider this place again. We have 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and balcony. WOW!!!

Couldn't use one of the bathrooms, because the shower was full of mold and smelling awful. We needed to close the door. Seems like the room was not used for several days and no one checked before giving us the room. But, must consider that this a same day, and last minute reservation.
